I'm a Mamoru/Usagi fan (forever and eveeer.), but I can't help to be weak against Demando's feelings to Usagi/Serenity. I see it happening while Chibi-Usa is in the past and once she goes back to the future for good, Hotaru and Shingo become closer friends because they miss Chibi-Usa. eventually, Shingo would learn everything about the Senshi and I think that could possibly further the deal. Once the current Usagi has Chibi-Usa, Hotaru/Shingo would be together and waiting for her to grow up so they could play and be best friends again.

YESSSS EXACTLY. It's like you got the headcanon out of my brain! I also think that Hotaru could be the only one of the senshi that Shingo could become attracted to. He had a very tiny crush on Ami ( I don't know why...haha) but Hotaru and Ami have a similar emotional output.

I really think it could work! It just seems like it would be so adorable.

It sure is <3! The saddest and most devastating moment of the whole anime was when they died . I cannot watch it without crying out loud... And when they wanted to touch each other when fading away... I have to stop thinking of that ep. or otherwise I'll start weeping again...

It was depressing but very romantic indeed. I think they rather capture what true soul mates look like.

My fav Sailor Moon couples depends on which version of the series you're talking about. Manga-wise, I love Usagi and Mamoru but don't really care so much for them in the anime. I also love Minako x Kunzite in the manga and Makoto x Asanuma would be cute too. Anime-wise, my favorite couples are Usagi x Seiya, Haruka x Michiru (in all versions), Zoicite x Kunzite, Chibi-usa x Helios, Naru x Neohrite, and has anyone mentioned Naru x Umino yet? Does anyone else love Fiore x Mamoru as much as I do too? And even though it's totally one sided, where's the love for Ami x Mercurius? PSGM wise, I love Makoto x Motoki. They're just so adorable together, especially when Makoto catches the bouqet in the special act. I also liked Dark Mercury x Nephrite and Queen Beryl x Jeadite was really cute too.

One thing I hope will happen in the new anime is that I hope we'll get to see Haruka and Michiru kiss in it. One of the things that disappointed me about the original anime was that while Usagi and Mamoru kissed lots of times, we never got to see Haruka and Michiru kiss once.
