Otaku senshi of the month - April'16

Hi there everyone!

I would like to introduce you to this new program we're starting, it's called Otaku Senshi of the month, it's not a contest, is a highlight of character created by any of you during the month.

During each month, every new otaku senshi created is automatically nominated, this also include those created for contest and won first place and those that might come from special events, the winner will be chosen by the entire GC staff (Admins and mods) but there might be some months that you can also participate, also the chosen one will be highlighted on GC social media (Tumblr, twitter, facebook).

I encourage everyone to start creating your characters or continue working on them ^_^

Bringer of Cold Winds and Snow

Name: Chione Boreas
Realm of Influence: Snow/Hail/Winter Winds
Background: Chione spent her childhood up in the very northern parts of her country, living amongst the constant cold winds and snowy conditions. She has loved the snow for as long as she could remember. She grew up with only her mother to care for her, although sometimes her grandfather would come to visit them. Often her mother would have to leave for a few hours, and Chione would get to spend time with her grandfather as he watched over her.

As she got older, however, her mother became sick and eventually bed-ridden. Chione watched over her as best she could, administering care and medicine, but it didn't help. The night before she died, Chione's mother told her that they actually came from a long line of winter spirits, and that her powers would transfer over to Chione when she died. Chione didn't know how to take this, reassuring her mother that everything would be okay. But in the morning, her mother had passed on.

As she cried for her mother, something in the house began to shine and glow. It was a strange clear blue ball that sparkled as she reached out to touch it. As soon as her fingers met with the cold surface, she began to transform. Her clothes changed and a staff appeared in her hands. As she stood there, Snowfall felt stronger, more aware of every wind that passed by the house, able to feel every snowflake that fell to the ground.

Snowfall knew that it was now up to her to keep the winter spirits moving as they were needed, to keep the change of the seasons going as they are meant to. With her staff in hand, she creates snow and harsh cold winds.
