Howdy! This is the OOC thread for my first RP of the site.

Also, here's the plot.

"The battle between the Death Busters and the Sailor Senshi has a new wild card on the chess board. Nishiki Toyotomi. On the surface, Nishiki appears to be your average high school student, simply trying to get by life without anyone noticing. However, this couldn't be any harder. For you see, Nishiki suffers from DID (Dissociative Identity Disorder). Most of the time, he is just normal ol' Nishiki Toyotomi. But at night...he becomes the phantom thief himself, Ryu Lupin! He's earned a reputation already in his own right, but soon the Ryu side of Nishiki will soon find his life turned totally upside down. Whatever can be considered odd for this personality. The Death Busters, now down to only one...er....two in one witches...., offer Ryu a deal. He helps them find the Pure Crystal Heart talismans, and he's offered riches beyond his wildest dreams. Ryu jumps on the deal. Nishiki...is less then thrilled. So now Nishiki must balance his school and thieving lives and keep anyone from discovering his true idenity. Can he keep the truth hidden from the Inners? And give Ryu's connection to the Busters, will Neptune and Uranus rend him asunder? Only time can tell....and no one can say who shall emerge victorious this time..."

Do I need to explain who I am calling dibs on if this RP becomes a thing?...

P.S. It might be a good idea to put your information for the storyline as a quote and then copy/paste the character list to your first post. Not sure if it's mandatory or not, but it's typically how people here format their OOC threads.

I agree with that idea.  I admit it isn't difficult to follow a link like you currently have, but even I would prefer all that information to be in the first post of the OOC thread.  And I've noticed I tend to be more accommodating of things like that than most people on-line.  And as Andalusite stated, it's the way most OOC threads are here on GC. 

Also, I'd like to claim Ami/Mercury for if/when this storyline gets off the ground. 

Okay, lemme fix those issues.

Did you have anything specific in mind for Cyprine and PtiLULZ Ptilol? Since they didn't get much of a personality, I was thinking of giving them a collective personality, but then treating one as the left side of the brain and the other as the right side when they are separated. For example, Ptilol could represent the left side, meaning that she would be a bit more logical than Cyprine who would more likely act out of impulse.

Just a quick thought. You could put your list of characters in the first post of the ooc and then when people claim a character link their accepted profile and their username beside it so people know what's taken.

I'd really prefer to role-play Ami/Mercury here.  I have an already-approved profile for her at http://www.thegalaxycauldronforums.com/t10408-approved-relaxed-senshi-ami-mizuno-sailor-mercury?highlight=ami+mizuno .  Even though it's technically Relaxed, I wrote it in such a way that I could easily upgrade it to Advanced if need be.  I would start work on this once this Storyline gets Approved.

Also, another possible idea for sportsnutd might be Tellu.  I role-played her in an all-villains Storyline - or was it an Event - several months ago here on GC. I found she's easy to role-play if you've seen her one and only episode.

Please keep in mind that as this is an Advanced roleplay, you need to upgrade your profile to Advanced to be able to play as Ami. 

You guys know that you don't need to wait until the profile is approved to start working on profiles right? You can start now and then when it is approved you can start faster. ^.^

Which characters are absolutely mandatory as RPCs for this storyline? Couldn't we just NPC Pharaoh90 in the scenes where it is required?

Like I said, we need Usagi, Inners, Mamoru, Haruka and Michiru, Hotaru/Mistress 9, and the other Death Busters plus C/P. Oh and Mr. Tomoe. 

Tell me if I left anyone out.

When you come to me for your claim, please make sure to get the app ASAP. Like, normally within like a week or two. Two at most.

If your app is up by then, great, if not I'll have to let someone else take a shot.

I understand that, but to clarify why I was asking about NPCing and absolutely needed characters, I'm going to use Fractured Zenith as an example, as it is the only active RP I am in that has more than two people participating. It is an Advanced RP that a handful of people started brainstorming in February 2015. The storyline's creator suggested 11 canon characters and four OCs. It is March 25th 2016, twenty-one RP posts into the plotline, and we still only have 3 out of the 11 suggested canon characters and 4/4 OCs between four active roleplayers (our fifth person has been MIA since December). I guess what I am trying to say is that it's really hard to get that many individuals involved in a RP to cover the character roles without having to double up or NPC the less important ones. ;___; We have a decent number of RPers here on the forums, but they are already involved in a bunch of other storylines and don't always have the time to take on another one.

That being said, I still think we should attempt the RP. Sometimes after a few posts are made, people will become interested in the storyline and will want to join in. Plus, if a RP thread is started and has a few posts in it, the storyline creator may then open up a character request thread!

So are you going to be Makoto instead of Kaolinite? Or both? xD; Also, Addy said that we didn't need to wait for the storyline to get approved to start working on the profiles.

xD;;; I might take on Minako in addition to Cyprine and Ptilol since FZ needs her really badly too, (Jasper's been asking me to cover her role, so making the profile for this RP would kill two birds with one stone. )  but I have absolutely no clue how I am going to juggle two-and-a-half characters in this. I'm also scared of accidentally messing up Minako, since I'm not that familiar with her character. XD;

P.S. One of the other new members was talking about making a profile for Professor Tomoe, so maybe he would be interested in this RP.

Okay. I can mention it to him to see if he wants to participate in another storyline.

For now, I am just going to stick with Cyprine and Ptilol since it takes me ages to write an Advanced RP profile.

Does anybody care if Cyprine and Ptilol have civilian attire/disguises (in addition to their labcoats and witch costumes) for the sake of giving them more personality?
