Advanced Character Profile
Character Name: Izo Saito
Gender: Male
Age and Date of Birth: 23
Used Canons: Anime/Manga | PGSM
Appearance: When in civilian, Izo is known for his large movements and his elegant mannerism. He is considered effeminate, bearing a youthful complexion as the youngest of his team, but also for his delicate features that include more curves than squares. His round face is framed by long and wavy dark blond hair that he almost always pulls back into a tight ponytail. It's not really because it keeps his hair out of his way, but mostly because he thinks it's pretty – and, not that he would admit it, also to be considered credible by the staff and his surrounding. He wears green earrings, but considering the place he works at, it's kept simple, generally two small studs. His green eyes will bear a mischievous expression around people he is comfortable with and a more defiant one around people he doesn't know enough or dislike. He generally is expressive and most of his thoughts will be readable on his face. He still can offer an imposing look when encountering something – or someone – he thinks beneath him. He stands at 5'8'' but despite the said effeminate vibe he gives off, Izo's body is built for fighting, running and hand-to-hand combat, which makes him muscular, even if he is more delicate and slender than his colleagues.
He wears his police uniform neatly, always tidying it. He will wear more comfortable clothes at home, but he will follow the trends most of the time. At work, however, it's always serious, proper and well-put.
When he stops being a cop and starts roaming the street as a supervillain – although having been a superhero before that – Izo doesn't just disguise himself, he transforms. Someone knowing him enough could maybe recognize him within his silver-blue eyes, but he otherwise changes beyond recognition.
He isn't the strongest of the team and he does look the part, bearing a frailer frame than the others despite the confident exterior. He is usually all clad in white. His hair becomes white and is shorter in the front and sides, but what is longer along his nape gets tied in a loose ponytail. His facade isn't as playful. It's more serious, with arrogant features, defiant eyes, his jaw is often clenched and he wears a reserved expression. He has long fingers from playing the piano and there's a lonely crystal earring in his right ear.
Personality: Izo is a cop with a good sense of observation when it comes to small details or things others could pass off as nothing worthy of attention. He can judge an enemy with precision and he is usually very determined. He can use many ways to attain one goal. He is creative enough to surprise his opponent and sometimes even his own colleagues. But being analytical, adaptable and resourceful often makes him pretentious, sometimes to the point of being arrogant (unless he is with a higher ranked person he respects), more so with people he considers his enemies. Known to use dirty methods of attack, Izo sneaks on his opponents and shows himself to be quite the cunning adversary. Despite his intelligence, he can act impulsively or he can be too confident in his own abilities, then leading to painful defeats. He takes failures pretty badly and can be petty or even immature about it, resulting from time to time in an annoying passive-aggressiveness that renders him more reserved or even sulky. It can make him comes off as harsh or bossy for anyone who doesn't know him better and just generally annoying to those who know him too well.

When it comes to the others, Izo doesn't always know the proper way to express his deepest feelings, even if he will generally not hold back on things he is comfortable with himself or with his own opinions. Emotions, however, are not easy. He has a great respect, love and caring for Mamoru and the Elysion Guard were like brothers for him (the Shitennou still are, but brotherhood isn't quite what's expected of a supervillain). He is also more emotive when it comes to his closest circle, the death of colleagues (the likes of the Elysion Guard and Mamoru) can easily upset him (so can a failure on avenging said deaths).
Izo is loyal to the ones he chose to be, sometimes overly so, but it means he will be there if needed and is ready to die for the person he follows. His life is of no worth or importance if it means letting them die. His loyalty could probably be described as unconditional, and sometimes over the top, making him pretty old-fashioned. It means also, however, that anyone wishing to make him follow them that aren't the one he usually does might encounter a very different man. He will be arrogant, defiant, mocking and will humiliate them even if it ends up putting him in danger. He doesn't care about his wellbeing if it can get his point across – even if usually he will try not to die from pissing off Beryl.
He likes mentally challenging situations, things of beauty, debates – though he can be bored by politics conversation with people he dislikes -, reading, discoveries... He is not a huge fan of sports, old and new alike.
It is worthy to note that his time with Beryl did make him more manipulative and cruel than he used to be which he will not completely get rid of once awakened from his brainwashing, but it is something he will make sure to work on.
He seems colder and calmer while in supervillain form. Whether it's because he prefers to keep a persona or if he feels more comfortable while totally embracing who he is is something not even Zoisite could give a satisfying answer.
Any Unique Abilities/Skills: Izo is a master in playing the piano (his piano can enhanced his psychic powers). He has also a rather high intuition regarding people. His resistance to magic is high, but his endurance in combat is lower.
History: Izo's powers started to appear around his ninth birthday and since then it's been hard to even want to be near other's mind. It's not that he hated everyone else, but more that he couldn't exactly bear the burden all of them brought. Adult minds, most of all, were very scary places for him and he soon retreated into himself.
It's not before meeting the men with whom he would grow up during the early school years that Izo finally was able to leave his shell, where he felt so secure. Even when they learned about what made him slightly different, it didn't hinder what was the start of their friendship. Whether they were like him or not didn't matter, because they understood and they didn't care. Sure, their minds could become loud, but they were his friends and he ended up being comfortable with the others' thoughts floating around him. He would avoid trying to read more deeply, knowing their whole relationship was based on trust, but there never was any problems related to his powers.
After a while of knowing each other, the men formed what would become the Elysion Guard, a group of superhero that helped around in the city. Izo and the three others became policemen so their work with Mamoru would also be protected (but being a superhero also allowed them to do some work impossible to do while in the force).
It's during one of their mission as normal policemen that part of the Elysion Guard fell into a trap. They were stopped by Beryl, one of the targets from a dangerous criminal organisation. She tried to ensnare them, Izo tried to protect their minds from her, but after much fighting and resisting, his defenses fell, his friends weakened and their minds were trapped into Beryl's web.
They distanced themselves from Mamoru, became supervillains and corrupted their police work for the sake of their new Queen. Izo, now called and known Zoisite most of the time, doesn't have as much moral limitations about the use of is psychic powers as before, enjoying the power his abilities give him on everyone else.
Other Noteworthy Facts: He hates rats.
Storyline Specific Information:Love and Justice League: In this roleplay, Zoisite is the alter ego of policeman Izo Saito. He acted as an unknown vigilante before being brainwashed by Beryl. He now works both as a supervillain and as a corrupted cop for the Dark Agency, a branch of the Chaos Syndicate.

RP Sample:- *insert cool joke here I'm beginning to run out*:
"I'm bored."
Izo was slowly rolling a strand of hair around his finger, leaning against the counter of their office, boredom indeed written all over his face. They were out of missions for now and actually in break, waiting for both the office and the higher spheres to give them something to do.
"For once I wish criminals were bold so we wouldn't have to sit all day."
But times had changed. Criminals were bold only in the hidden parts of the city, parts the boys knew too well nowadays, but no criminals in the bright daylight. As if the new invasion of pathetic young justice fighters was enough to make them squeak. Izo was surrounded by minds he knew, but somewhere inside him had grown a desire to see how far could he stretch his abilities?
And for that, someone needed to break the law or something, because until Beryl found them something to do, they were stuck here in disguise.
Why pretending when they were powerful enough to overthrow much of everything? He knew why, he was a good tactician, but he was also incredibly bored. It itched, that desire to do something, to break something.
Maybe he would have been scared of his own mind once, but that was the thing right? He didn't own this mind anymore...
His lips stretched into a thin smile as he felt a new energy brush his power.
"Something is coming."
