Character Name: Helios
Gender: Male
Age and Date of Birth: Looks like he's 15-16 years old, but is way over 1000.
Used Canons: Anime/Manga
Appearance: Despite the apparent youth of his features, the wisdom and pride still show in the priest's eyes. He appears elegant, well-mannered with a body language rarely aggressive and if threatened, he will have a more defensive stance, as he usually resists without any offensive gestures or reactions. This creates a contrast between his physical appearance and his bearing. He doesn't have the slouching of many young boys, he doesn't have this childish posture or the big motions. He will mostly seem serene or focused.
He wears robes, mainly white, with transparent sleeves and blue elevated shoulderpads. His collar is transparent and also blue. There are five dark blue tassles, maintained there by golden buttons, forming a V along his chest. The same dark blue was used to make his belt and the pants under his robe are white as well, so are his shoes.
His hair is white with a small pale blue-ish tint to it. It goes well with his fair but slightly paler skin and makes his deep orange eyes stand out. He wears a red gem in the middle of his forehead. His features are soft, smooth, and it is not rare to see a smile stretching his lips, even if it is a very small one. He has two golden neck rings, the bottom one having a small golden and round pendant hanging from it. He also has small crystal earrings.
Most of the time he doesn't have it, but he can sometimes be seen with a golden horn sticking out from the middle of his head. As a pegasus, he is white, with a pale blue mane. His eyes are golden and he has the same forehead gem than in human form. His wings are also white.
Personality: Even if he appears far more generous than most people, it doesn't mean Helios is overly naive. He has hope in his heart, tries to make hope live in the heart of others, but he knows not to see too much in the impossible. He is not tender toward laziness or cruelty and in front of danger for his own life, he can appear arrogant and prideful.
He cares deeply, however, for those he lets inside his heart. He feels deeply for the lands, nature and the people who were a part of his long life. He is more serious and studious than he is mischievous, but he can find in himself to be playful from time to time. He is also very honest, even though he tries not to hurt feelings where he can spare, but someone's feelings wouldn't keep him from saying something that needed to be said.
He feels loss rather deeply and as someone who often could watch but not intervene, he feels sometimes rather hopeless, or guilty, as if he could have done something, even when his mind knows very well he couldn't.
He happens to feel loneliness despite living with two of his maenads and if he cherishes a certain amount of solitude, curiosity toward Earth often made him look in that direction in wonder. Would he ever be able to live there with Endymion, or even the maiden? Or would he be stuck on Elysion for the rest of his life. How long would be his life? Would his existence fade if the King was to die? Many questions often float around his mind, but when he can, he ignores them so he can face life in a logical and proper way.
It's strange also... how one person can do things to his heart he never expected to feel.
Any Unique Abilities/Skills:
- Dreamscrying: Helios can enter other's dreams to hide in them or to communicate with the person who's dreaming. He can also send messages that way, even if he can't physically appear.
- Astral Projection: If his body is unable to move by itself (example being him encaged), he can send his spirit instead.
- Enhancement: He can upgrade other people's powers with his own, allowing them to be more powerful.
- He can control the golden crystal if he has it in his possession.
History:Helios was there when the Golden Kingdom saw Endymion born to be their prince. He was then the guardian of the golden crystal, a friend to Endymion and also his guardian priest. Not only had he as duty to protect the golden crystal from everyone (including Queen Nehellenia), but also the dreams of the people. Unlike Endymion and his Princess, he didn't die during the war opposing the Moon and Earth, watching powerless from Elysion as both died. Strangely enough, both Earth and Elysion remained unaffected and Helios waited with his maenads to see his prince reborn.
Years later, in modern world time, when Queen Nehellenia escaped, she went to capture Helios and trapped him in a cage in her mirror world. Under the cover of his pegasus' form, he was able to communicate with Chibiusa, sending her messages and helping her against their enemies. He hid in her dreams in this form while his humanoid's form was stuck in webs like restraints. He gave to Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibimoon enough power to transform into their super form.
During his time far from Elysion and inside Chibiusa's dream, his affection for the queen's daughter grew. Enough that when he was finally free from the Queen's grip, he promised her they would see each other again in the future, before returning to his duties on Elysion.
Other Noteworthy Facts:
- He lives on Elysion (always lived on it) as high priest but served as Endymion's priest during the Golden Kingdom era. He is the guardian of Earth and Elysion, thus by affiliation Endymion's guardian.
- Being connected to Earth and Endymion, he can feel when they are both in danger. Unfortunately, if Earth or even Endymion are fading, dying or hurt, their problems resonate and mimic themselves on Elysion and Helios.
- Even though he takes its appearance in the dream world, the pegasus is actually Helios' steed.

He couldn't help it. That pride, quite an unhealthy one, that sprung into his heart every time he was able to flee from his body to fly, free, in the mind of the dreamers. A metaphorical middle finger to the Queen. She might have had his body, but everything he was would always be freer than she would ever be.
And that pride choked away the thought that she was ABLE to put him in that cage in the first place.
It was his fault.
All it took was a distraction for him to be so easily taken.
As he soared through the skies, hoping to see this young maiden again, this feeling of freedom he loved so much washed through him again. Earth was a beautiful thing seen from up close. Not as magical as Elysion in appearance maybe, but there was so much more to see, so much more to feel.
He heard the bell and flew in the other direction, heading toward her.
At least, he could give his powers for theirs to save the day.
