The first level 8 on the event is getting me!  I can't pass that one to open up 9 and go onwards.  This event will be just like Ami's- do it, but can't get the prize.

You get minako completing the third constellation aka the third map. I'm really really close to getting her!

Yeah that happens a lot silver! You just kind of have to keep using all your lives until you get it! I've been stuck on stage 4 of the third constellation for this event for over a day now, and I've been stuck for over 2 days on some of the other levels of the normal game. It's all about skill and luck. You need the skill to see how to get the best combos and which matches actually help you and which kind of just hurt you. And you need luck for the pieces that fall in, but eventually you'll get there.

My only tip I've learned and have to keep reminding myself of, is that most levels are not timed, they're moved based. You need to look at which goal you're meant to accomplish on that level: removing barriers, getting the accessories, etc etc. and then make smart moves to accomplish the goal. Sometimes I just absentmindedly make matches when I see them, and while it helps by getting new pieces in and removing a couple, it doesn't actually help me in the long run and there was probably a better move I could of done! So just take your time and try and think about which moves are the most beneficial to you before just doing them ^^

It's more frustrating with the timed events than the regular game for sure!

Oh ho big time. I finally got off of one level to get stuck on another. I mean I WILL get her, but ugh I swear I had to do a level over 25-30 times and was almost tempted to buy jewels just to get off of the dang thing >.>

Not that there's anything wrong with people who spend money on in app purchases, I just wish the game were 100% free and whatnot.

Aghh I've been stuck on the 3rd area on level 4 for most of the day @@. I didn't get nearly this close on the Ami event, so I really hope I can clear this one and get Minako ;A;

Minako achieved! And I swear, I was stuck on multiple levels for over 10 tries. Don't give up guys! It helps to play it while doing something else. I was listening to creepypastas; odd combination, I know. But I think listening to horror stories, or something else kept me from thinking too much and making errors.

A couple tips 

If you can, go back to older courses, if you can max out and get 3 stars on every level, you get 10 gems sent to you, which is 5 free lives and, or extra moves. 

I'm making it my goal of both getting stars and completing all the courses, it helps to switch things up if I'm stuck on a level too much. 

I've also noticed that some of its luck based, some times my starting board is really really good and some times it's terrible.

I know exactly what you mean. I've had a board on this event shuffle four times in one round because it kept running out of moves. Curse those dang metal boxes

When you load into the game, there should be a green arrow icon in the bottom right corner that says menu. You click that and then 'friend page'. Once there you just hit search by ID and then type in people's friends codes! People have left theirs in this thread, generally they start with ww.

The Japanese version makes it a little easier to win levels since each time you play, even if you lose, you earn points (called "trophies") in different categories. I think they have to do with certain combos and such. You can trade these trophies for power-ups or trade them to level up a character. I hope they add this feature to the western version soon because it helps a lot!

I'm on levels 79-1 or 80(depending on what I decide to do) and I keep running out of moves!

@Chibi Usako: They will. The japanese version didn't always have the trophies. What you have in the western version is how the japanese version started. I doubt they would change the game from one to another, so in the future update we will probably end up getting the trophies.


I didn't know there was a japanese event so I ended up having to get Neptune in two hours. Which I did   but I'm slightly fed up playing for now xD

How do people get the key on level 77?  I can get one star, but can never get enough points to get the key!  I always clear the level or run out of moves before I can get enough points to get the key!

Sometimes when the keys are too hard you can ask friends to open the ribbon for you (it takes three friends helping for that).

Not possible with "friends".  I have no "friends" added.   The keys are the only way I've been opening the ribbons.  Plus, I don't want to feel like I have to "compete" to get high scores against other people.  I'm happy enough when I can get one star to just clear some of those stages!

There's nothing more to do than do the level again and again then. Sometimes if you don't have one right now, you can win in events a bonus that boost your score bar.

I got the key on level 77!  I changed the character to regular Minako and I got enough points to get the key!

If by any chance someone is also playing the Japanese version of the game, the new event will get  you princess small lady =D and it started today until june 10th.
