Storyline Specific Information: 
Immortals: Rei Hino is a junior at San Fransokyo Institute of Technology and is studying robotics and anatomy.  She is friends with Ami, Makoto, Minako, Usagi, and Chibi-Usa.  After Usagi becomes concerned about Chibi-Usa wasting her potential, she (along with their other friends) helps the sisters with Chibi-Usa’s microbots.  After the science fair, Usagi goes back into the burning building, which explodes killing Usagi and Professor Beryl.  More than anything Rei wanted to withdraw from the group after Usagi passed away.  She wanted to throw herself into her work and forget everything else.  She was reminded of how fragile human life was, how quickly it could all end and be torn away.  She felt alone and this only reinforced her belief that she would always be alone.  She was afraid that without Usagi, the other girls would no longer be her friends as well.  But her fears were without merit as Ami, Minako, and Makoto remained her friends and she was able to keep herself from closing everyone out.  She worked hard to turn her grief into energy to continue working on her prosthetics and biological/robotic visions that now were focused on saving lives.  Her grandfather and friends kept her grounded, making sure that she didn't completely fall into her work.

Rei remains concerned about Chibi-Usa and when LU-NA contacts them, she arrives with the others.  After nearly drowning and being saved by LU-NA, they take refuge at Ami’s mansion.  Chibi-Usa has realized that the masked enemy is responsible for Usagi’s death and upgrades LU-NA and the group (Rei, Ami, Makoto, Minako) to be able to catch the bad guy.

Although Rei isn't too keen on becoming a "superhero", she doesn't want to see anymore of her friends hurt and they could capture the person who was responsible for Usagi's death.  She viewed her upgrade as a preliminary experiment for technology that could eventually be used to save lives.  She also saw it as a way to help pull Chibi-Usa out of her depression and so was glad that she be of use that way.  Rei saw this hero business as a necessity and she wanted to be able to help the others she the need arise.

LUNA: A personal health care companion designed by Usagi before her death.  After Usagi dies, Chibi-Usa takes over LUNA's management when she accidentally turned on the robot and began using it in her mission to track down her sister's killer. LUNA is equipped with various medical implements and is able to perform many procedures, as well as scan people to gather medical information. In addition, she is outfitted with instruments to assist in life-threatening situations, and, while soft and inflated with air, has a super-strong skeletal frame that will allow her to lift large, heavy objects (or hit really, really hard.)

LUNA:

When upgraded by Chibiusa, her cuddly exterior is protected by a suit of armor and she gains the ability to fly and shoot a rocket-powered fist attack.

Additional Information: Rei Hino was raised by her grandfather, who owns and cares for a Temple.  Her parents were divorced, father a business man working with large scale corporations, her mother was a physicist. Being an only child, she has always been serious and independent.  She’s had an interest in the physical sciences since she was a young child when she heard that her mother was a scientist and hoped to one day work with her.  What started as an attempt to be perfect enough to get her parents’ attention soon became a passion that she held for robotics and anatomy. She was accepted into the University and though she didn’t know anyone when she first started attending, she met Usagi in a robotics class and was drawn to her bright personality and desire to help others.  She soon became friends with Ami, Makoto, and Minako when she found them to be as passionate as she was in their fields but could also relax and have fun.  Being friends with the group helped to loosen Rei up a little and teach her to slow down when she was too focused and to have fun as well. 
Rei is also skillfully trained in the martial arts and in archery. Her favorite color is red.

RP Sample: Rei finished taking her notes as the Professor dismissed the class.  Normally she would organize the papers and handouts before placing them in her bag, but today was different.  She nodded at the other students as she took long graceful steps up the stairs and out of the classroom.  Her skirt swished and her heals clacked on the pavement as she walked briskly towards a large futuristic glass building across the lawn.  She entered the building after what seemed like an eternity of walking across campus.  Rei made her way towards The Lab and was greeted by a chorus of hellos.  A small smile pulled at her lips as she returned her greetings, dropped her bag, and sat on the couch next to Makoto and Ami.  Usagi and Minako sat across from them on a smaller sofa.  She relaxed as she listened to their conversation about a new material recently developed, finally jumping excitedly with new information from her class.  She was happy here.
 
 
Senshi Name: None
Senshi Fuku: She wears skintight clothes that has a slim exoskeleton fit into them.  The outfit design tries to keep her looking graceful while still being very functional and allowing for lots of movement and flexibility.  She keeps her weapons attached to the exoskeleton from the back.

Powers and Magical Items: The exoskeleton is slim and attached to the lining of the suit.  It gives Rei super strength to be used with her martial arts, jumping high, and lifting heavy objects.  She also has a mechanical flamethrower and a mechanical bow and arrow set.
