Any Unique Abilities/Skills: Nereida has the ability to communicate with marine life, due to her powers as a senshi. This ability does not extend to other types of animals however. Also, ironically enough, despite being a senshi of the sea she cannot swim.
 
History: Nereida was born a princess of the minor planet Sedna. She grew up practically under the shadow of her older sister, who was destined to take over as queen one day. At the age of only 4, her parents had passed away from illness, leaving her under the care of her sister. Her sister soon took the throne and was a fair ruler, although a rather strict parental figure. The majority of the time Nereida was confined within the palace, studying. On Nereida's fourteenth birthday, her elder sister deemed her an adult and sent her to continue her studies on the planet Neptune. She was given a lot more independence on Neptune than she had ever had on Sedna, and especially began to take an interest in Neptune's marine life, discovering her ability to communicate with them. But despite flourishing in her new environment, she remains lost when it comes to what she will make with her life. She is unaware of the coming destiny that is about to be thrust upon her.

Storyline Specific Information:

• Solar Prominence: Long after the reign of Crystal Tokyo has come and go, Sailor Moon and her Sailor Soliders, except for the timeless Sailor Pluto, no longer exist. The Solar System is now under the rule of the Empress of the Sun, Queen Sol. In actuality, the new ruler is none other than the Solar System's greatest enemy: Chaos, who seeks the Legendary Silver Crystal. At this point she has already captured Sailor Pluto and the crystals of Mercury, Venus, Mars and Earth, but the other Sailor Crystals still remain hidden. The only hope of the Solar System is Sailor Cosmos, who has been banished by the queen and travels in search of the remaining crystals, and to reclaim the ones already in Queen Sol's possession. But she can't complete this mission on the own, and seeks to awaken the Sailor Senshi from minor planets. Nereida is one of these potential senshi and will be awakened by Cosmos as Sailor Sedna.
