When Beryl dismissed them to prepare the soldiers, Nephrite turned around, the muscles in his shoulders tense. Something about the entire situation, that was no longer reading right to him anymore. Why was Endymion acting this way? Or was this all because Nephrite was having doubts? Was he reading too much into the situation?
 
He wished it was night so he was able to consult the stars. He longed for their guidance right now. They had never steered him wrong before. Frustrated, he made his way to the barracks. He wanted to talk to his brother in arms, but they seemed so sure that this was the right path for them to take. Nephrite trusted them with his life.
 

You’re doing the right thing. Perhaps if he kept telling himself that, he would soon begin to believe it.

Venus bristled at Artemis’ chiding words and the look he gave her. She knew this was important. But if they were going to inform the queen anyway, why did they have to break into the prison then? And deep down, she was afraid. Afraid to face the queen. Afraid to see the way Queen Serenity would look at her—probably worse than the look Artemis had given her—when she realized just how much things had gotten out of control. For some reason Queen Serenity had let her keep doing what she was doing, trusting her to protect the princess, and now this. The prince of Earth was inexplicably here, and he said his people were attacking.

Why? Venus didn’t understand. A part of her did not believe it. Endymion was the prince, right? Why couldn’t he stop them? Whose orders were they marching under? Maybe this was all just a misunderstanding. Maybe Luna misheard. If that was the case, Venus wanted to keep this under wraps. The queen never had to know. No need to incite panic in her if this would all turn out to be just a fluke.

She followed Mercury with her heart beating fast, hoping for all the best scenarios while planning for all the worst. They descended down stairs Venus had never seen before and ended up in a dark hallway somewhere below the palace. When Mercury announced that it had been sealed, Jupiter decided to blast it, and Venus stepped back to let her do the work.

She felt rather envious that Jupiter got to expend some of her nervous energy. She desperately needed to channel all this anxiety somewhere.

“Princess, wait!” she called out when Serenity dashed ahead before all the debris had even settled. She followed close behind worriedly while Serenity’s focus remained on one thing and one thing only. Venus was on her heels as she suddenly moved toward one of her cells. Venus’ heart lurched when she saw Endymion’s familiar figure, looking so defeated.

He was really here. And the news he brought must be true.

The worst-case scenario was happening. The nightmare was real.



Luna burst into the throne room, where the queen sat alone, seeming deep in thought. There was a small smile on her lips, and Luna immediately felt terrified of ruining whatever it was that she had been dreaming about. She did not want to be the bearer of bad news.

Fortunately, she didn’t have to. A guard came in just then, and went to bow in front of the queen. “Your Majesty, we have apprehended an intruder,” he explained. “He claimed to be from Earth, so we deemed him dangerous… we have now put him in the dungeon.”

She followed their hasty princess through the opening that Jupiter had provided, terrified that some rubble or debris might harm Princess Serenity--and also terrified of the lack of knowledge of what might be on the other side, now that they had cleared a path. The princess seemed to know, somehow, which was the correct path towards her lover. It made Mercury feel that twinge in her heart again; Princess Serenity was still their sweet and innocent princess, but she had grown up so much from the small child she had once seen swaddled in Queen Serenity's loving arms. If only things could have happened differently than this.

Seeing the pair separated by bars was too much for her to bear.

She stepped forward, blue boots clicking on the stone floor, and placed her hand gently on the lock fastening the cell. Sailor Mercury concentrated, feeling the rush of cooling energy flowing through her and concentrating on the metal lock. A delicate pattern of frost spread across the surface as it slowly encapsulated itself in a small crystal of ice. It would be easy now for one of the physically stronger sailor soldiers to break it off, with little harm of risk to either the prisoner or his devoted sweetheart.

Mars had tensed when Mercury suggest they split up to manage their two goals.  She wanted to stay with Serenity, in case... She let out a deep sigh when Mercury had turned her attention to the Luna and Artemis and asked them to deliver the message to the Queen.  She felt better knowing that the at least the Queen would be aware of their actions should something happen.

The group took off quickly after the cats left towards the tunnel Mercury had found earlier.  Mars was curious as to how many secret passages there were and how they could be used in the possible upcoming war.  She shuddered at the idea of this peaceful place being the site of a battleground.  They reached the passage opening, now newly sealed off.  Jupiter reacted quickly and blasted the obstacle out of the way.  Serenity raced past as the dust settled, the others quickly on her heels.  Mars took a moment to make sure that the noise hadn't caught anyone's attention before continuing down the passage.  

Looking around as she entered dungeons she found no one else present besides-Serenity had already rushed to the crouched figure's side.  A few steps closer and she knew for sure it was the Prince. Mercury was already working on the lock and Jupiter or Venus could break it open.  Mars walked quietly over to the stairway and checked for guards but found no one there.  She stayed near the stairwell listening for any sound of oncoming footsteps.

Queen Serenity still had her head in the clouds when Luna burst through the entrance. She got up from the throne and approached her, wondering why she entered in such a hurried fashion. 

"Luna? Whatever is-"

Before the queen could ask any farther, a guard rushed in and gave a quick and hasty bow.

Sailor Mercury wrote:

"Your Majesty . We have apprehended an intruder. He claimed to be from Earth, so we deemed him dangerous… we have now put him in the dungeon.”

Queen Serenity felt her heart drop into her stomach. An Intruder? From Earth? With earth being in turmoil, it was no wonder they put this unnamed man in the dungeon. The citizens on earth were becoming more and more restless. Queen Serenity walked closer to the guard, a stern expression on her face.

"Do you know his name, and his purpose for coming here?" Queen Serenity's mind began to race with questions. What reason could someone from earth have to trespass on Moon Kingdom soil?

Endymion. 


Her soft voice echoed in his head, tormenting him for his mistake. His vision swam; he couldn't help her now. He couldn't protect her from them; he was trapped in here, an official enemy of the Moon. She could be...

Endymion, Endymion, 


His name on her lips sounded worried, his subconscious twisting her voice to taunt him; he couldn't even know her fate. Was she looking for him now, wondering where he was? Did she believe him to be among her enemies, betraying her along with the rest of his planet? What would she do? Knowing her - knowing her, she'd still try to find me. And that could mean - she could be -


Endy...


Her voice faded away and he froze, holding his breath as he tried to listen closer despite the sound of blood pounding in his ears, praying to the gods that it was all in his imagination, that he wasn't somehow privy to her thoughts, that her voice fading away wasn't her last words, that she wasn't --

Cool fingers caressed the back of his hands and his head snapped up, nearly jumping from the unexpected touch. As recognition fought disbelief he instinctively released the bars in favor of swiftly taking her hands, unwilling to let her go, whether she were real or a phantasm. 

"Endymion... it's me, it's Serenity." 

He couldn't believe it. Not yet. Imaginations did unforgivable things when faced with despair - the cool hands that he held could disappear at any moment, leaving him alone and helpless in the face of attempted genocide that she may have already fallen victim to. He took her in, staring into dark blue depths, memorizing her face - the curve of her cheeks, the shape of her brow, the worried pout of her lips. The tears gathering on her eyes he took special care to burn into memory. He had caused them.

He spared a glance to Nephrite as he almost stormed out of the room, grimacing slightly. He bowed in front of Beryl, understanding they were being dismissed and following behind his colleague. They would have to get the men ready, but if he trusted what he saw earlier, they were all very impatient to get some action. It was almost impressive how Beryl had been able to impose herself on the whole army.

"You'll end up getting killed with that attitude."

He pointed out as his steps finally were in line with Nephrite's. Based on the look Kunzite had given them, Beryl wouldn't be the only one to get pissed if it went on like this. But Nephrite had always been the most intense of them.

Artemis followed quickly after Luna into the throne room. As she was about to inform Queen Serenity of the unexpected visitor, a guard came in.

"Of course he made no mention of the prisoner's claims," he thought to himself. No matter, perhaps it was for the best. Right now the Queen had to listen to the Prince's warnings, further explanations should wait for later.

Before the guard addressed the Queen's questions, he intercepted. "Your Majesty, considering the increasing unrest of the people of Earth that we were investigating this morning, we believe that it is of utmost importance to proceed with the interrogation of the prisoner at once and request the reason for this intrusion."

Venus was so busy thinking ahead about what they should do, how to deal with a potential attack from Earth, that she didn’t notice what Mercury was doing immediately. Her first instinct was to request information from Endymion, but she realized she would be no different than a regular Moon Kingdom guard interrogating the prince of Earth. Still, she had so many questions.

When Mercury stepped aside after freezing the lock and neither Jupiter nor Mars attempted to break it, Venus steeled herself and stepped forward to try. She was not as strong as Jupiter, but perhaps she could do it. She gripped the lock, its cold biting into her gloves, and pushed it with both hands as hard as she could. A small cracking sound told her it had shattered, and she let go of the remaining pieces. She pulled open the door and stepped inside, gently touching the prince. He seemed focused on Serenity at the moment, not talking, not blinking, not quite sure she was real.

“Your Highness, I’m so sorry, we don’t have much time,” she urged. She wanted to let the two of them have their moment, but Artemis was right; there were more pressing concerns. “What is this you said about us being attacked? When is it happening? Please, tell us.”

“I’m too useful for her to kill outright,” Nephrite said, grinning at Zoisite. “Have me beaten perhaps, but she needs me.” He knew he had been toeing the line back there, but it was better than saying what he really thought about the situation. The question was what would Kunzite do about his borderline rudeness?
 

“Zoisite,” he began. “What do you make of this entire situation? We’ve known Endymion for almost all of our lives, and he’s never been wrong about the big stuff. Why is he so against this now?” He made sure to keep his voice low as they walked the corridors, trying not to be overheard.

"And how, pray tell, will you be useful if you get beaten?"

He huffed with a small shake of his head. It was rather entertaining to see people struggle with Nephrite's attitude, but right now, they didn't need a scandal.

For a short moment of time, he was able to hear the clicking of their boots against the ground and the rhythmic sound was not enough to calm him, but it allowed him to focus. He turned his head towards Nephrite when he called out his name but ended up looking back in front of him at the end of his question. Why indeed.

"We both saw him, Nephrite. All the times he was with that woman, Endymion didn't even seem to remember his own name. I've never seen him gawk in front of anyone then suddenly someone falls from the sky and it's the end of the world if she isn't there."

He was exaggerating about Endymion's reaction, but he figured it would get his point across.

"I don't know what to think." He finally admitted, despite often having a plan. He was stuck. He wanted to trust his prince, but something in his head made him reluctant to do so and impatient to finish the Moon Kingdom. "He has good instincts, but what if the moon girl really got to him more than her guardians got to us? Is the doubt worth the fall of our Kingdom?"

“We’ve also seen other soldiers get so enamoured with a woman that they forget their own name. Do you remember Steven a few years ago when we were out scouting that village? He fell so head over heels with the bakers’ daughter,” Nephrite chuckled at the memory. He had teased the man mercilessly at the time for it.   
 
“There’s just something that isn’t adding up to this whole situation for me. If the Moon Kingdom was really after us like Beryl says they are, wouldn’t we have seen some sort of attack before? It’s clear they have powers that we do not, with their Princess having appeared as she did. Tactically, I think they have the advantage,” he frowned as he tried to get his thoughts in order.
 

“If this is true, and they were as evil as Beryl says, they would have attacked us by now, yet we barely see them, and we know nothing about them. It seems to me that they prefer to keep to themselves.”

"I remember." There was even a thin smile piercing through his haze. The whole army probably remembered as well. "But, soldiers don't carry the responsibility of a whole Kingdom."

He shook his head. "If they are smart, and we know they are, they would wait, they would gather information and they would decide what kind of invasion is necessary. In our case, it is probable that a subtle invasion would work better than a very aggressive one and perhaps they understood that. What better way than the poor moon girl appearing right when the wolves were attacking? You have to admit it was a peculiar timing."

There wasn't enough conviction in his words and he knew it. He trapped a blond lock between his fingers and rolled it unconsciously around his index. It was a nervous habit, but he had no idea why he was nervous. War was just war, even if in this one, something was amiss.

"What are you implying? That we're doing the wrong thing?"

Beryl watched as the Shittennou walked out of the room. They still didn't seem convinced and Beryl was struggling trying to keep her mind control. What should I do? Beryl wondered. She did know that her powers were stronger than this. She was off her game. Something was wrong and she knew exactly what it was. The disgust in Endymion's voice when he saw her had hit her in a bad way. She wanted him to feel for her the way she felt for him. Unfortunately, the Moon Princess had gotten in her way. He fell for her right away and Beryl had not accepted that. 

Queen Metallia had come to her giving her more power than she had ever imagined and she knew that by working with Metallia she could win the prince's love. However, it wouldn't happen until the Moon Kingdom fell. Beryl decided to follow the Shittennou and see if she could strengthen her power over them. She soon caught up to them talking, it seemed like they were unsure if they were doing the right thing. What can I say to them to make this work? Beryl thought. She wasn't sure, but she knew she had to say something.

"I promise, you are doing the right thing." Beryl said hoping she sounded convincing, "I know you trust Prince Endymion and his judgement, but his mind is definitely clouded because of the Moon Princess. I know this may be hard for you to trust someone other than him, but your trust has not been misplaced. I'll help you lead this army to victory and strike at the Moon Kingdom before they strike at us." Beryl looked at them and waited for them to turn to her. She had to strengthen her control over them and her words were not enough. When they looked at her she'd use her powers to hypnotize them back into her control. This had to work, they had to stay by her side or all would be lost.

Blast that woman, couldn’t he get a moment away from her to get his thoughts in order. She is not a trained solider, we should have heard her coming. How was she able to sneak up on us like this, he thought, and we were also whispering, how was she able to overhear us so easily?
 
Keeping his eyes lowered out of “respect”, he turned to bow to her. “Of course Beryl-sama. If you will excuse me I shall go make sure that the men are ready for war.” He made sure to keep his tone pleasant, not wanting to give her reason to be angry with him. He turned back in the direction he had been coming from, his eyes staying focused on the ground, not wanting to look at the woman.
 
Silently, he urged Zoisite to do the same.

He tensed when Beryl's voice interrupted them again. How did he not hear her coming while even his battle boots were noisy on the castle ground? She was saying what he wanted to hear, that they were doing the right thing, but it was something to hear her, it was another thing to trust her. He couldn't remember the last time she had officially been in any war reunions and he did remember the way he had spoken to her when the prince and them had left for the hunt.

"Lady Beryl..."

He turned around, as asked by any normal etiquette when someone of higher rank spoke to you, giving her a quick and short bow before lifting his eyes towards hers, bold, but still respectful.

"I wanted to ask..."

Darn that Nephrite! Beryl thought, Now how will I get him brainwashed if he won't look at me? Beryl showed anger for a very brief second, she did not like feeling powerless or not worthy of her role. She deserved to be in power, deserved to get what she wanted, this was her time, it was her chance to get everything she wanted. This power made her feel strong, happy, wanted, and needed, and she was not going to give any of that up anytime soon. 

Luckily Zoisite made eye contact with her. She saw her powers working on him. There was a certain rush that she felt when she saw her magic working, a certain feeling of invincibility, it was a powerful, amazing rush. This was a feeling she loved. Snapping out of it for a second, she realized that Zoisite was going to ask her something. "You wanted to ask what?" Beryl asked.

The prince still hadn't responded, and Sailor Mercury was starting to worry. She kept her eyes trained on the entrance that was most commonly used for the dungeon, her ears straining to hear any sound of commotion. She also could not ignore the passage they had traveled through. With a quick touch to her lowest earring, the translucent blue visor appeared and slid across her eyes. It was much easier for her to monitor information this way. She tracked the information appearing on the screen, rapidly processing it and keeping alert. Her radius of surveillance increased with the deployment of her visor.

So far, they were not in danger of being caught, but that had to change soon. Luna and Artemis should be speaking with Queen Serenity right now. They had to learn what the Prince of Earth had to say, and whether the rumors of an attack were true. Their kingdom could be at stake! If only he would acknowledge them and deliver his important message. She trusted in the Princess to bring him to his senses and coax him to share, but they simply could not afford to delay if these rumors were true.

"Please hurry," she thought to herself. "We may be running out of time."

Zoisite's doubts - and they were many - slowly seemed to float out of his reach when he made eye contact with Beryl. Happy visions that could have nurtured his rebellion burned away, memories slightly altered to better fit the creature's lies as well as new found respect and desire to please. It was a strange sensation, an unpleasant one but against which he was totally helpless despite being aware of it at first.

It felt foreign. An unknown force taking his own ideas, his convictions and twisting them into something new and malicious. It felt wrong. He stayed lucid enough for a few moments still and the only thing he could remember feeling was utter panic and a need to fight back.

But his mind got out of hand and when he blinked, his eyes had lost most of their spark.

“Nothing, Lady Beryl. I don't know what came to me. You were clear enough. Is there something more I can do for you?”

Before anyone could even come up with a plan to enter the dungeons, Serenity ran past Jupiter and through the newly made and possibly unstable hole.

"Serenity, hold on!" What if it had collapsed on her? She'd never forgive herself for letting it happen. Jupiter let Mercury and Venus follow her, and then took one last glance back up the stairs to see if anyone was coming after them before entering herself. The dungeons weren't a place she usually went to, so seeing all those empty, cold looking cells was strange and unnerving. How many people had Queen Serenity even had to send to the dungeons? The Moon Kingdom had been peaceful for so long that she doubted it had gotten much use. 

Jupiter heard as Serenity called for Endymion, and then stopped at a particular cell, kneeling down and holding someone's hands. Was that...the Prince? He looked like a newly broken man, but when he noticed Serenity, he stared at her as if he had just seen the sky for the first time. She watched them from a short distance away, even as Mercury froze the door's lock and Venus broke it to free him. She had quite grasped just how much the prince and princess were in love with each other until this moment, and it had left her stunned.

Coming to her senses, Jupiter moved closer to the cell after Venus. "And what happened to your guards? Did they not come with you?" It was rare to see him without at least one of the Shitennou alongside him. Was it so bad on Earth that they couldn't be here?

"Just continue to go talk to the army and get them prepared for battle." Beryl said, "Oh and one more thing. If you could, could you talk to Nephrite for me? I think he might take in everything better if he hears it from you. I expect you all to be by my side when we start this battle. I need everyone's full support, which means Nephrite can have no doubts." Beryl looked at Zoisite thinking that this was an important moment, even if Nephrite never looked her in the eyes so she could redo her mind control, she knew hearing from a fellow Shittennou might help calm his mind. They would be going into battle very soon and no one could get in her way. If they did, she'd have to kill them and she didn't want to kill the Shittennou, not one of them, they were very valuable and if one was dead, they'd all grow to hate her and never follow her again. She trusted that her mind control would work on the others as well, if the followed proper etiquette, which most of them did, minus Nephrite, they'd be back under her control in no time.

He bowed, then glanced at her when she continued. Nephrite... he wondered what in the hell his friend was thinking acting like that towards Beryl. They needed to regroup and be together in this or they wouldn't go far. The Shitennou were strong when alone, but they were stronger when united.

"Of course. I will do what I can. But if I can suggest sending Kunzite as soon as it will suit you for he probably will get better results." He said, doing a final bow with a small smile. "Your army will be ready for the war, that I can assure you." He turned away, walking in the same direction taken by Nephrite.

He reached him soon after and glanced at him, examining subtly his brother's features.

"We should check on our men."

Nephrite hummed in agreement, as they made their way down to the training area. She had gotten to Zoisite, he could tell. His voice was lower and slower, was it she that had cast a spell on them and not the Princess? Was Enydmion right all this time? He regretted allowing himself to succumb to her. Maybe, if he played along, he could get the Moon, break off, and find the Queen?
 
Arriving, Nephrite could already see man of the preparations were done. There would only be a few things left on the list for them to do before they would be prepared for war on the Moon.  
 
“Looks like everything is in order so far.”
 
Speaking of war on the Moon, how were they supposed to get there? Yet another thing she hadn’t told them. Just what is she after exactly? The more he thought about it, the more things made sense.

There were very few preparations left when they finally reached the courtyard. All the men seemed ready to go and most of them almost looked agitated, impatient to get some action. He could understand them. The Golden Kingdom had been at peace for a long time and soldiers weren't needed often in times of peace. Perhaps they were more eager than what he remembered, but he didn't think much of it. Beryl was right, they knew it all and they would fight for their planet in the best of their abilities.

"You shouldn't have done that."

He stated distantly as he leaned against one of the castle's walls. He was looking at the training occurring while everyone was waiting for departure.

Serenity’s mind was focused only on Endymion. She knew her senshi were there with her, but she could not take her eyes off of Endymion. What had happened to him? He looks like he doesn’t believe I am really here…Serenity thought as she reached her small hand from Endymion’s to his cheek.

“Endymion, I am really here,” she said as her hair slightly brushed against his ebony locks. She had heard Venus ask when the attack was going to happen. Serenity froze for a moment.

The Earth was attacking the moon.


This was what her senshi had warned her about, not all people on Earth were as kind as he, not all people were accepting of her and her senshi as he had been. Their love was forbidden.

The thoughts from earlier that day spun in Serenity’s head, yet she believed Endymion was true and honest. He had come to warn them, that counted for something right?

When Serenity heard Jupiter ask where his guards were, Serenity wondered as well, but all that mattered to her was to get Endymion out and get him to safety.


Luckily Serenity knew just the place.

“Shouldn’t have done what,” he asked, attempting to play dumb. He needed to go to the Moon with the in order for his plan to succeed.
 
Part of him was proud of his soldiers for people able to mobilize for war so quickly, yet another part of him was screaming at them. Why couldn’t they have taken longer? Where were all the delays that normally happened when they attempted to do anything in large groups? Of all the times for things to go smoothly, it had to be now, didn’t it?
 
“We should report to Beryl-sama that we’re ready to depart when she is.” He could only pray that Endymion had found a safe place and was staying there, although knowing his Prince, he would most likely find himself in the middle of everything.

Did he look like an idiot? He frowned at Nephrite's answer, annoyed by his stubbornness. Of all the times to throw a fit, it had to be now?

"Antagonizing her. She's right and you should know it."

He hissed between his teeth. He would prefer to have Kunzite by his sides for that. Being the youngest didn't help. He had the authority of a newborn child when it came to Nephrite. The only thing he could be proud of right now was that he wasn't so prone at anger's issues contrarily to some.

"I hope what you have in mind won't get your teammates killed. Think about that."

He sighed.

"Lead the way. If we're ready, let's get this over with."

Movement around him did little to disturb his concentration. Serenity pulled her hand gently from his grasp to touch his cheek, speaking softly, reassuring him that she were truly there, but that would be what any delusion would assure, surely. His hand reached up to cup hers, refusing to break his gaze, until the barred doorway moved away from him, towards Serenity, and another hand put pressure on his shoulder guards. Only then, with an orange skirt in his periphery, did he dare look away; if Venus were there, it could only mean that Serenity wasn't his imagination - that she were here, alive, and in very real danger. He listened to her plea and nodded his agreement and support, then stood, carefully helping Serenity up without letting go of her hand. By her words he knew that the impossible had happened - the Earth had yet to attack; if they had, he was sure Venus and the others would know about it. They had to act quickly - there was no time for dallying.

Jupiter's following question tightened his jaw; with them by her side, they had even less time.

He released Serenity's hand as he spoke, stepping purposefully around the cell door to stand next to her, his hand finding hers again quickly. "Soon," he replied, trying not to be vague but being unable to provide specifics, "We need to evacuate the city and warn the Queen - your soldiers should be prepared, she could arrive at any moment." He looked nervously to Mars on the stairs, then to the new entrance the group had found or created - either way, they shouldn't trap themselves down here. They had to get out while they still could. Only then did he realize he hadn't answered either young woman's question, and so explained as concisely as he could, "Beryl the sorceress has turned the people of Earth's minds against the Moon and is taking advantage of her newfound power to attack and destroy your Kingdom. My guards - " he paused, renaming them. They weren't his anything anymore, "The Shitennou are with her. We need to act, quickly."

"I hope what you have in mind won't get your teammates killed. Think about that."
 
Zoisite’s words sent a chill down his spine. Could he really put his friends, his brothers, lives at risk? He knew that in war, there was never any guarantee you would come back.
 
His plan would very well get them killed if the Moon Kingdom decided to disregard the fact that none of them were in their right minds and had lost their free will; but he had been raised to do the right thing, and this foolish, unfounded attack upon the Moon Kingdom wasn’t it.
 
He had never felt so isolated in his entire life.
 
The Prince’s safety and wellbeing came first, as was his duty, but could he stand the loss of his brothers? Never did he think that he would be in such a position. What was the right thing to do? Can I ensure that all of us remain safe?
 
He remained silent as he retracted his earlier path to the war room where he knew Beryl would be. Knocking, he entered and made his way over to the table.
 
“Beryl-sama,” he said bowing. “The troops are ready to leave whenever you are ready.” As he rose from his bow, his eyes sought out hers, trying to determine was lies lay underneath.

Beryl was surprised when Nephrite came back into the war room. It seemed that Zoisite had gotten through to him somehow. The bonds of friendship and companionship always confounded her. She'd never had anyone like that. Brushing off that idea she looked at Nephrite. He had still not looked her in the eyes as he told her that the troops were ready to leave whenever she was. Finally he made that connection she had been waiting for, eye contact. She took the chance and used her brainwashing, hypnotizing eyes. "I hope that you've realized that this is for the right reasons and to save Prince Endymion." Beryl said, "I will be ready to leave in a moment. I just need to go get something. I'll meet you, the rest of the Shittennou, and the army in the courtyard. We will be going to the Moon Kingdom from there." 

With that Beryl dismissed Nephrite and walked out of the room. She had to go to her chambers to get the item Metallia had given her. She had told Beryl that it would teleport her and the troops to the Moon Kingdom. She hoped that it would work. Her powers were very strong and continued to grow, but she'd never tried this before. When she got there, she grabbed the sword given to her, it would be her weapon too, but teleportation was the first thing she needed to do. Beryl closed her eyes for a minute, this was it. It was her time, soon she'd get everything she ever wanted. After a minute, she headed to the courtyard to meet the army. She looked around at them and was prepared to leave. "Are you all ready to take on the Moon Kingdom?" She asked.
