How could she oversee that? Of course it was also possible that the spaces didn't form a new word but belonged to the previous letters. "That's a possibility too," Kiyoko said, still reflecting what to do now. "You're really smart! I wouldn't have thought of that option!" She then gave her a little smile.

"And don't worry," she added. "I'm a healer - my powers don't cause any damages. I'm a bit helpless when an enemy attacks but at times like these it's pretty useful." Kiyoko's eyes went to the girl with the odangos and the darker-clothed woman. "What do you think? Should we try?"

The moment Pamina said the word yourself the ground began to shake, and the box swung slowly, as the chain it hung from rattled. The stone on the ground began to shake as well, the letters that were missing began to fill in, and the script glowed.

Here lies the Life Stone. Only those worthy by proving yourself may acquire it.

The box began to open, a light glowing brighter than anyone could imagine radiated from that box. It was so bright you couldn't look straight at it with your eye without possibly going blind. 

"Worthy, yes they are worthy" A ghostly spirits voice echoed around the room, a cold breeze following.

"But are they worthy to touch it? If they can not view it, how can they use it?" Another spine chilling voice chimed in.

Suddenly, Gloria's heart beat, as silent as it was, began to grow louder. She was still motionless, but her body sensed the item that could revive her.


Task

Sailor Nocturnus

The bright glow forced Pamina to shield her eyes. She tried to squint at it, sideways, as the voices and the chill wafted around the room, but she could only see the brightness. The added noise of the doll's heartbeat only intensified the situation.

"Do you think one of us could remove it from the box without looking at it? Just by the feel? If it's a stone, it shouldn't be too hard to recognize...right?"

She glanced at the paler-haired girl who had offered her help before.

"Or do you have some kind of healing-thing that would work here, maybe?"

Kiyoko had to look away as the bright light appeared; and even despite she looked to the other side of the room, she still had to squint her eyes. Suddenly two scary voices were audible and Kiyoko felt how it made her flesh crawl.
 
“But don’t you think it’s a bit too easy this way?,” Kiyoko said to the girl, her eyes still looking at the other side of the room. “I don’t know, it’s just a feeling…but I don’t think this is the right way to do it.”
 
She tried to look at the box but as soon as she turned around she noticed how a bright flash blinded her. “Except lifting the curse, there’s nothing I can do here,” she responded to the girl’s suggestion. “But I can’t even see where the box is!”

It is paste the deadline, but I'm willing to extend until tomorrow 5PM est. I know from Skype etc some of you are busy right now.

Usagi's face remained contorted in confusion as she pondered over the puzzle. She was never very good with puzzles...or words...or spelling.

Thankfully, though, she didn't have to stress herself out about it, because two other girls found out the answer.

The blonde began to grow frantic as the ground began to shake and whispers filled her ears. She made a desperate attempt to focus on the task at hand instead of the blinding light emanating from the box.

"Maybe we should put Gloria inside!" she exclaimed.

As the friends discussed how to approach the light source, another spirit echoed, but this one sounded familiar.

"Gloria thinks the stone is protected by a shield. Yes a barrier! You are all special, become special and break the barrier!"

Although Gloria was still motionless, her mind echoed around the room.

Task:
The barrier has an energy level of 35. Use attacks or tactics to damage the barrier around the Life Stone. Every time someone posts, Saturn will roll a D8 and determine the damage. Remember, you can not touch the stone directly or look at it for a prolonged period of time.

Everyone has 10 health. Everytime you attack, you will recieve 1 to 4 damage.

You must break the barrier by 11pm est 6/1.

Zena watched the others, she didn't have powers quite like theirs and had to think of what she could do. Her powers were more focused on debilitating other people or humanoid type enemies. She closed her eyes and tried to channel anything she could, taking in a breath she calmed herself.  She opened her eyes and turned to the group, as she said "I don't know how much I can help, my powers are much different than most and I don't know how much I can help, but I am able to channel the elements and maybe I can use that to our advantage," She said as she focused on the water that was in the other room and sent a water blast, not just any water blast, she was able to manipulate the water to act like blades, she hoped her attack would do some damage.

Energy Level minus 4. Now 31.

The water ricochets off of the barrier and becomes slightly electrified. It hits Zena.

Zena's Health minus 3. Now 7.

Sailor Nocturnus

The announcement made it clear to Pamina that she would need to transform. The magic that she could control without her sailor soldier identity would not be useful here. She was glad there seemed to be currently no risk of harm by revealing herself. Small fingers closed around the Asturlab in her pocket.

"Illuminate the Darkened Night!"

Within moments, Sailor Nocturnus stood in Pamina's place, the golden stars on her uniform glittering with the reflected light from the box.

She did her best to stay focused as she readied her attack, knowing it would not harm her allies if she kept her thoughts calm. Her fingertip traced the air, creating the whirling disc of energy.

"Ecliptic Rotation!" she called, as the disc expanded outward with shock waves and shooting stars, aiming at the barrier.

Nocturnus deal 7 damage. Energy level now at 24

Nocturnus is hit with recall from the barrier.

NOCTURNUS IS dealth 3 damage. Now at 7.

Kiyoko didn't know what to do as the others attacked the barrier. She was a healer - was she any help at all right now? She couldn't cause any damage, so would her powers help? But on the other hand she was able to lift curses. Maybe that would help. Well, there's nothing to lose, she eventually came to the conclusion. "Panacea Cosmic Power, Make Up!"

In a flash she transformed and soon she was the Soldier of Healing, Sailor Panacea. "Okay, let's do it again," she said, highly motivated to save her friend. Panacea shifted into a strong position and gradually a bright light of energy accumulated in her hands. "Bane...Crasher!"

The focused energy turned into a bright beam and flew directly towards the barrier.

Kiyoko deals 5 damage, barrier now at 19.

Sparks flew off the shield from impact and hit kiyoko.

Kiyoko takes 2 damage and is now at 8.

Sailor Nocturnus

Wincing a bit from the recoil, Sailor Nocturnus watched the other sailor soldier attack as well--but the barrier still needed more effort put forth to break through. She wasn't going to give up so easily!

The sailor soldier-in-training began the motions of her attack, ready to unleash it a second time.

"Ecliptic Rotation!"

Hopefully this would help a bit more!

Zena let out a gasp as she was shocked. She wasn't hurt too bad as she got up to her feet. She noticed the others around her attacking too and could tell the barrier  was becoming effected by their efforts. She wasn't sure what to do next, her powers were mostly used on humans and she didn't know what to do. She thought of a dear friend and what he would do and what he would tell her to do. 

Zena focused on the air in the room, she wasn't sure it would work at all, it was just air, but if she could generate enough force, maybe, just maybe she could deliver some type of damage. She began to work her hands until she had a big ball of air, relying on an extra touch of her powers she channeled the water that still remained before she sent the blast towards the barrier.

Usagi was so relieved that she had other senshi to back her up in this. Sure, it was weird and a little odd that these girls all seemed to have powers like she did, but Usagi wasn't going to complain. Together, she knew they could save Gloria. Clutching her brooch in hand, Usagi shouted, "Moon Eternal, Make-Up!"

In a flash of pink light and white feathers, Eternal Sailor Moon suddenly stood in Usagi's place. "Let's finish this, everyone!" she shouted, holding her Eternal Tiare in hand.

"Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss!"

5,4,6 = 15 damage.

The barrier around the stone begins to glow brighter, radiating an almost unbearable heat. The sudden growth in temperature released a shock wave of heat, dealing 5 Damage each to those who had just attacked, since they were closest.

Nocturnus is now at 2 health


Zena is now at 2


Usagi is now at 5  

Zena felt completely weak from her attack, she could collapse any second. She needed energy and she needed help fast, she had come so close to completing this mission, she wasn't going to give up now. Feeling like she had nothing to lose, she walked up and kicked the barrier before she collapsed from exhaustion, her chest moving up and down with her shallow breaths.

Sailor Nocturnus

This time, the shock wave of heat brought Sailor Nocturnus to her knees. She struggled to her feet, gasping, breath ragged. She went to raise her hand to attack, but it fell limp at her side. She didn't have enough in her to use her powers another time.

This cannot be happening. Desperately disappointed Panacea looked through the room. They all fought for Gloria’s life. They all gave their best. And yet it wasn’t enough. Two of them were already too exhausted and Panacea felt how time was running out. “We’re too close to give up,” she muttered. “I’ll try it…for the last time.” I promised that I’ll save you, Gloria.
 
Once again Panacea shifted into a stronger position, holding her hands in front of her body and focusing the energy. “If I still have enough power after that,” she said to the others while creating a large energy ball. “…then I’ll heal you too!”
 
It was about time. “Bane…Crasher!” For a last time she threw the focused energy towards the barrier.

Panacea unleashed her final attack, only her and Usagi were the only ones powerful enough to keep attacking. Gloria was resting against the far end of one of the stone walls, place there by one of the friends to keep her safe. When Panacea's final attack hit, the barrier had no more energy to cause a counter attack. Once her power hit the barrier, the shield exploded, shards of glass hit the ground around the room. However, the glass didn't remain. This glass was enchanted by a magical spell to keep the Life Stone safe, and now that the barrier had broken, the glass began to sizzle from being exposed in the air.

Everyone had slowly transformed back into their natural forms, not my choice, but by lack of power that remained in their bodies. Usagi and Kiyoto together took the Life Stone from the now protected box and walked over to Gloria. When they knelt by Gloria, the stone began to levitate above her chest.

"Yes, take my stone, Gloria must live!" A silent voice echoed through the cavern. Could that have been.....

The stone slowly lowered and vanished into Gloria's chest. Gloria's eyes opened wide and her porcelain skin began to soften back into flesh. Her lips curled into a smile as she began to move her arms to better prop herself against the wall. Her size began to grow, no longer being her normal doll size. Was she fully changing into a human for real this time?

"Gloria knew she could trust her friends, yes she did." She giggled as she stood. She fixed her dress and looked around the room. "This room is no good. Gloria will take us back."

Before anyone could say argue, Gloria melted into a shadow, and the four friends around her sunk into the darkness. Suddenly, they were all back on the surface, at the entrance to the tomb. The sun was rising and birds were chirping in the distance. 

"Yay Gloria feels more energy in her body. I can use my shadow travel to take you home!" In unison, the friends shouted no before giggling.
