Larissa/Sailor Watermelon Calcite

Nightclubs were not normally a place Larissa enjoyed going to. She found them too crowded and far too loud, and it made her feel claustrophobic.

But the Make Friends Campaign had made her come here. She did not have many friends of her own, and she was always at a loss on how to make them. It might be a little desperate, but it couldn't be all that bad. She hoped.

The music was as loud as she had feared, so loud she could feel the vibrations, and there were definitely a lot of people. Larissa almost turned around and went back home - the claustrophobia was already beginning to tighten and twist in her chest, making it hard to breathe.

But it felt like cheating to enter and then leave right away. She should at least give it a fair chance. At least it felt so alive in here. That a positive note.

Larissa worked on calming her nerves, and looked for a place to sit. Hopefully she could find somewhere a little less crowded and loud.

And perhaps the 'Make Friends' thing would work out somehow.

Violet/ Sailor Purple Calcite


Violet stepped into the Tokyo Rave eagerly, having always wanted to check it out. The Make  Friends Campaign had given her that opportunity, and even though she already had plenty of friends, she liked the idea of making another one. There was no such thing as having too many, right?

The music seemed to vibrate the whole building, and the club was crowded with young adults to the point where Violet had to squeeze her way past people to get anywhere. As she looked around, a green haired girl caught her eye, and Violet changed direction to move closer to her. The girl looked like she didn't have a group, and neither did she. Maybe they could stick together?

"Hey, it's pretty loud in here, isn't it?" Violet said, raising her voice so Larissa could hear her. "Do you mind if I sit with you?"

A “Make Friends Campaign“, huh? The new event of Tokyo’s recently most popular nightclub immediately caught her interest.
It was only one month ago when Kari moved from Kyoto to Japan’s capital, Tokyo. It was a huge step to leave her friends and family and yet she didn’t regret it. As the saying goes, ‘Nothing ventured, nothing gained’. Yes, indeed. However, running all alone through a foreign city wasn’t too pleasant either.
 
For that reason alone she had to go there.
 
The club was full of people and the music was tremendously loud. It’s been a while since she visited a nightclub the last time. But that shouldn’t bother her – after all, she had a goal to accomplish. After getting a drink the short-haired woman walked through the crowds, looking for someone who was still alone. It was odd – the party just started and yet there were so many groups. Well, Tokyo is a sociable city, she guessed.
 
After a while, Kari spotted a young woman, completely in pink. It’s worth a shot, Kari thought and walked towards the friendly-looking woman. “Hey there,” she said, an inviting smile on her face. “Are you looking for new friends too?”

May/ Sailor Pink Calcite

May attempted to contain her excitement as she entered Tokyo Rave. She had been eager to go when she had been invited to Make a Friend Campaign's event. Recently moving to Tokyo, she was without many friends and had figured this would be a good place to meet some. 

She nearly jumped out of her skin when the short hair blonde girl began to talk to her. Get your head out of the clouds May! 

"Yep! I'm May, what's your name?" she asked, holding out her hand to shake the other girls hand.

Leon/ Knight of Ice/Blue

Leon grumbled to himself as he walked to the nightclub. He didn't want to go this make a friend thing. His mother found a flier in their mailbox and forced him to go to it. Leon didn't have many friends and his mother constantly pushed him to meet new people. She even told him earlier today he might meet a nice girl at this event. 

When he arrived at the club, he nearly covered his ears from the loud music. He was not thrilled by the large crowd. Leon stuck toward the wall and made his way toward the bar. He had to make it look he spent some time here. Otherwise is mother would scold him if he came home too early. Right before he could get to bar he hit something. He turned saw it was a girl with blackish brown hair. Their eyes met and she apologized to him.

"Hmph, standing in a corner isn't probably a good idea," he snapped at her.

Mimi / Sailor Grey Calcite

Mimi was not the sort of girl who typically attended a rave. This was made immediately clear to everyone else in the club. She perfectly embodied the "librarian" fashion style stereotype--diametrically at odds with the general crowd that danced and chatted around her. She considered turning around and leaving... but that letter. In the years since graduating from high school (spent working and attending some college courses) she had lost touch with so many of her old friends. As much of a loner as she could sometimes be, she missed that opportunity--enough to attend this type of event.

If only it wasn't so intimidating to approach others.

Ordering a drink at the bar was a first step. Clutching the small glass of iced tea in her hands, dark gray eyes scanned the crowd. If only she could find someone who wasn't already talking to another person...

A slight scuffle near the bar attracted her attention. She wasn't close enough to hear the words spoken between the dark-haired young man and woman, but so far it looked slightly hostile. Mimi took a small side-step closer, doing her best to continue observing without making it too obvious. It would be terrible if some kind of a skirmish broke out in the club--how could she attend the event and make a friend that way? Instead, she split her attention between looking for someone to approach and wondering if this new situation might need diffusing.

Vivi/ Sailor Green Calcite



Vivi would have never been caught dead at the Tokyo Rave, it was a place where people danced vivaciously and dressed ratehr unladylike. She was only attending because of the Make New Friends Campaign. She had spent most of her life alone and wanted to have a friend, even if she only made one friend, one friend was better than none at all. She walked into the club, feeling instantly out of place with her proper dress hair and make-up. The music was too much for her to handle. She much preferred  the piano or some other form of classical music. Vivi was also uncomfortable because the club felt dirty to her, she was going to have to shower after this.



She walked over to a more quiet area and sat in a chair next to a young girl with purple hair. She gently tapped her to get her attention as she asked, "are you here for the friendship campaign?"

Larissa/Sailor Watermelon Calcite

At first, she didn't realize someone was speaking to her. Although it was quieter in this spot, the music was still fairly loud. Plus, she wasn't really expecting anyone to talk to her, so she had been watching the dancing without fully paying attention.

Larissa looked to the other girl. She looked alone, just like herself, and somehow she felt a kind of kinship with her in a way that Larissa was unable to explain. That was silly, she had never seen this girl before, knew nothing about her.

But still, the feeling was there, undeniable all the same. It was rather strange.

She smiled in response. "Please, by all means," she said, hoping she was speaking loud enough to be heard as she gestured towards the seat next to her. "I am not too fond of loud places, I must admit. But it's very lively here. Have you been here before? Oh, I'm Larissa by the way. What's your name?"

Violet/ Sailor Purple Calcite

"Thanks!" Violet flashed her a smile and took the seat that Larissa had offered. "No, I've never gone to this club until tonight, but I heard it was really cool! My name's Violet, nice to meet you!" There was just something about Larissa that made her want to trust her, like they were friends already.

Violet turned when she felt someone touching her shoulder, and saw a slightly older girl dressed like she was supposed to be at a much fancier party than this one. Definitely unique. She perked up when Vivi mentioned the Make a Friend Campaign. "Yeah, actually I am. I'm Violet, what's your name?" What a coincidence to run into another person that had joined the program.

Kari/Sailor Stellar Beam Calcite

“I’m Kari, nice to meet you,” she said cheerfully, giving her a firm handshake.
 
“Do you come here often?,” she continued after a short pause, still smiling. “I, for one, just moved to Tokyo, so everything’s quite new for me. I’m from Kyoto – I don’t know if you ever heard of it, it’s like three hours from here and –“ Suddenly she interrupted herself, covering her mouth with her left hand. “Oh no, did I talk too much?”
 
“I’m so sorry. I didn’t mean to bend your ears,” she said, slightly chuckling behind her covering hand.

Alex/Sailor Honey

Alex was enjoying the atmosphere that permeated the rave.  The music pumped through her as she danced around the room.  After a few songs she went to the bar to get some water and glanced around for her brother.  Not seeing him immediately she took the time to people watch and noticed small groups everyone.  Her thoughts turned to the Make A Friend Campaign flyer that had showed up in their family mailbox earlier.  She wasn't in any real need of friends but she wouldn't turn down an opportunity to have fun either.

Looking around she noticed a young woman, though she appeared older than herself, who was wearing stiff clothes.  Alex grinned as she walked over to the young woman and offered out a hand in greeting, "Hello there! My name is Alex, what's your?"

"No, no don't worry about it!" May beamed at the other woman. "I'm new to the area as well and this is the first time that I've come to this place. It's not normally my scene but the campaign seemed interesting enough." She looked around the room, noting all the new people that had arrived.

"Guess people are starting to arrive now eh?"

Mimi / Sailor Grey Calcite

She actually sighed with relief when someone approached her. She returned the younger woman's friendly smile with a similar expression, and took the offered hand in her own soft grasp.

"Nice to meet you, Alex. I'm Mimi," she replied. "Are you here for the Make a Friend Campaign as well?"

She glanced around at the hustle and bustle of the club.

"It's a lot more crowded than I thought it would be. Although I don't have much experience with these sort of places."

Mimi looked at her own attire, then back out at the sea of enthusiastic young people, and let out a chuckle.

"I probably look it, don't I?" she laughed. "Do you like this kind of thing? You were really dancing out there!"

Amber ~ Sailor Red Calcite

After several hours of begging and convincing, Amber's adopted mom finally convinced her to go to the stupid club in Tokyo. Ever since moving here, Amber hadn't really cared much about making friends or being social. She just wanted to get through high school and move on with her life. The last thing she wanted to was waste her night with some dumb scheme to get her to 'Make a Friend'. 

She entered the Tokyo Rave with an irritated look on her face, hoping that it would be enough to ward everyone away. She didn't want to make any friends - what had friends ever done for her? She was perfectly fine without them. 

Amber shoved her way through the crowd of annoying dancers, stopping when she noticed a guy run into a girl not too far away. Narrowing her eyes, Amber watched as she sweetly apologized and he snapped at her in response. A flash of anger pulsed in Amber's eyes as she stormed over to the man and shoved his shoulder. "Hey, watch your mouth, pretty boy," she hissed. "That's not how you talk to a woman. She apologized - the least you could do is accept the apology."

Mimi / Sailor Grey Calcite

It was all but impossible for Mimi to ignore the conflict that was starting to happen on the other end of the bar. The red-haired girl's hostility nearly made the air tingle with electricity. The taller woman made an apologetic face at Alex. She just couldn't let that kind of thing go--Mimi was always getting herself in the middle of altercations trying to get both sides to behave.

"I'm sorry, please give me a moment," she excused herself, moving towards the man and the two women.

She did her best to step between Amber and Leon, aiming to physically separate the pair. Although she had a dowdy and gentle appearance, her height was to her advantage here. No one would have necessarily described Mimi as "intimidating," but she was impossible to ignore when she had to look down at nearly everyone else.

Mimi offered a neutral, but kind, expression to the trio. She wasn't afraid of harsh words or high tempers.

"Are you all here for the event?" she asked. "It's a shame that it's a bit crowded in here, but I'm sure we can share this space."

Alex/Sailor Honey
Alex was just about to respond when a woman began arguing with a man near them. She was surprised when Mimi excused herself and walked over to the situation. Alex edged her way over as well, hoping to add more positive energy to the group. "Yeah guys, there's still plenty of space to have fun in!"

Moments after entering the club, Taric had found a relaxing spot and slipped away, content to just hang out there until they went home. He hadn't actually wanted to go, but Alex was so against it at first that it forced his hand - when she wanted to throw the flyer away, his mom had turned to him for his input and he just had to say he'd look forward to it, just to push Alex's buttons. She was easy to get started. Now, though, she didn't really seem to mind, as she immediately turned to the dance floor.

He was content to be by himself - he had more than enough friends at school, though admittedly none very close - but a disturbance by the bar caught and held his attention for a bit as two people brushed into each other and a third got involved. Another girl approached, followed by -- of course, Alex. With a sigh he pulled himself to his feet - she was like a magnet for trouble - and approached the bar, leaning over and getting the bartender's attention for a drink as he continued watching the goings on.

Alex wondered how the two people would react to Mimi's and her own intervention. She glanced around and the smile on her face turned to a taunt as she laid eyes on someone.  "Taric!" She called out to get his attention. "Doing something boring as usual, why don't you come meet the friends that I've made!"

Amber ~ Sailor Red Calcite

Annoyed by the individuals interrupting her confrontation, Amber scoffed and kept her glare on the man. "I'm sure we could share this space if people weren't so rude," she responded, directing her comment mostly to the cocky-looking man. Having said her piece, Amber turned her attention to the two girls who had joined them. Who were they, and why did they think it was okay for them to just come up and start some random conversation? Then one of the girls used the word 'friends', and that was it for Amber. She needed to get out of there - quickly. But it seemed like she was surrounded on all sides.

She knew coming here would be a bad idea.

Vivi/ Sailor Green

She looked to the girl named Violet and spoke softly with a smile. "My name is Vivi, its nice to meet you," she said  as she took in her surroundings and the people around her, surely she could make friends with someone in the group. She turned back to face violet, "there sure are a lot of people here at this event, maybe we can all be friends." She said with a hopeful tone in her voice as she found a place to sit down and drink a beverage.

His sister was, more often than not, anything but subtle. Simply watching seemed to suddenly be interacting. He accepted his drink and warily made his way over.

Leon/ Knight of Ice

Leon turned at the girl who pushed him. He gave her a glare after she snapped at him. How dare she get involved. She didn't know him! "It's none of your damn business." He then walked off and sat down at the bar. The nerve of that woman. The bar tender came by and he order a drink to cool his anger.

Alani / Sailor Dark Calcite

Leon wrote:

Alani stopped playing with her hair, and locked eyes onto the young adult that had raised his voice with her. Her mind began to hurt, her vision fogged. 


Leon just left his night class at his university and was heading home to his apartment. He took a short cut through a nearby park. As he was walking Leon was messing with his phone. He just go it and was still learning how to use it. Leon was going through his email, when a bright light caught his eye. He glanced up and saw something falling from the sky. He stood still and was able to see where it landed it. Out of curiosity he ran over to it and saw it was a blue stone.

"How odd," he muttered to himself. He bend down and picked it up. The moment his finger touch the stone, it glowed bright blue. He found himself being engulfed by the blue light. When the light disappeared, Leon felt the necklace around his neck. He glanced down and noticed that somehow he transform into a knight. He quickly pinch himself to see if he was dreaming. Leon felt slight pain and let out a sigh. He had bad feeling about all of this.

Amber wrote:

Before she could reply to the young man's tone, a girl with short blackish red hair made her way between the two. The booming of the music around Alani began to fade, buzzing out into a white noise that she could no longer understand. Another pain ran across her head, this time pressing on her forehead. She raised a hand and rubbed her temples, her back now pressing against the wall she was standing against.

Amber had gotten into her fair share of fights on behalf of the helpless victims of bullying. But this one was different. This time, she had bitten off a little more than she could chew. It all started as she was walking home from school, and she noticed one of the more popular girls picking on another student in an alley. This immediately made Amber angry, so she confidently marched up to the bully and stepped between the two girls. "Do I have to teach you a lesson again?" Amber asked. The bully smiled before whistling, which caused a group of her friends to join her. Unknown to Amber, this was all a plot to get back at her for the last time she had given the bully a black eye. Unable to defend herself against the group, Amber was attacked. Her body was hit and kicked, battered and bruised, and not a single person would help her. Right when she began to plead for them to stop, there was a bright red flash, and a red calcite stone appeared in her hands. Without even realizing what she was doing, Amber squeezed the stone and smashed it to pieces, causing a stream of bright red lights to swarm her body. The girls who were attacking her warily backed away, terrified by what was happening. In Amber's place now stood a bold, powerful young woman who was not happy. After getting the girls back for what they did, Sailor Red Calcite was forced to move to an entirely different state so that her secret would remain hidden.

This girl was sticking up for her? 

Alani tried to ignore her headache, but the bickering in front of her and the powerful atmosphere around her made this a difficult task. Her heart began to beat heavily, her fingers began to prick like pins and needles as her body went numb. Something was wrong, what did she even come to this Make a Friend's Campaign?  

The last clear memory Alani had was walking along a stream, alone like she normally was, looking for fossils and other treasures in the water that nature gave away. That was when something caught her attention. Alani remembered reaching her hands into the water, drawn to the object that reflected in the bottom of the stream. 


Reaching....Alani reached into her pocket and touched the object. A powerful dark energy flowed through her body, the numbness grew until she felt nothing, not even the pins and needles in her finger tips. The area around Alani exploded. Alani was no longer, but rather Sailor Dark Calcite stood in her place.

Explosion ---> A semi-powerful earthquake felt around the area, Smoke like a fire, but no fire, pieces of structures falling

He hadn't even gotten through the crowd when the other guy walked away, ending whatever fight that might've been happening before it could (thank god - he didn't have the time or energy for any of that mess).

But then a girl exploded, and that kinda ruined any hope that things would have deescalated. With a grimace, Taric braced himself as the floor shook and reached out with his free hand for Alex - of course she was near the exploding girl - and pushed down the panicked butterflies in his stomach that reared up in worry for her. She had survived worse that that - they both had.

Alex looked as the guy left and the woman stood there with an angry look on her face.  She glanced from Mimi to Taric who was slowly making his way over to them.  Before she could think of a way to make the situation less awkward the girl that had been the center of the dispute suddenly exploded.  The ground shook violently and smoke filled the area.  Alex looked to where Taric had been and saw his outstretched hand but lost her balance and fell forward narrowly dodging a table but instead bumping a chair.  He's so not going to let me live that down.  She quickly pushed herself to her feet and towards Taric before looking around at the others.

Mimi / Sailor Grey Calcite

The explosion knocked Mimi off her feet. The dark-skinned woman yelped in surprise, skidding backwards against the floor among debris. She tried to wave away some of the smoke that obscured her vision. What was that? Were the other people in the club alright?

She fished her phone out of her pocket, ready to contact the local authorities about this incident, but it refused to complete any calls--seemingly damaged by the explosion.

Mimi pulled herself to her feet, coughing from the smoke. She did her best to inhale while covering her mouth with the sleeve of her blouse.

"Is everyone okay?" she called. "We need to call the fire department!"

Leon/Knight of Ice

The explosion caused Leon to fall off his seat. He sat up and saw the room was filled with smoke. He had to get of here. Leon crawled under the smoke trying to avoid the panicked crowd. He got stepped on a few times. He came to a stop when he saw the brownish black hair girl has transformed. She had a strange outfit on just like he did one time...

Leon kept going trying avoid the girl. He didn't want to get caught up in this mess. Plus she might hold a grudge against him. He saw the door up ahead. Just a little further.

Violet/ Sailor Purple Calcite

Before she could even answer Vivi, the explosion rocked the table Violet was sitting at, and she braced herself so she'd stay in her seat. The room was smoking, and bits of the ceiling were falling down. Just what was going on?

"Are you guys alright?" she asked Vivi and Larissa, trying to see through the dust in the air.
