| So, any PokéFans here ever try a Nuzlocke Challenge (can only catch the first Pokémon seen in each area, and a Pokémon that faints is considered dead and must be released or boxed permanently) or a variant in one of their games? Did you manage to complete them? How'd it go? Draw a comic about it? I'd be curious to know! I guess I'll get the ball rolling with the discussion, lol... I actually did attempt an Emerald Nuzlocke last year... I lost to Wattson, though D: And then every Pokémon I had in my PC was too weak to even grind in the surrounding area and I couldn't continue. Sob. I'd wanted to draw a comic about it, too (but alas, laziness!). Completed a LeafGreen Nuzlocke that ended in... 12 deaths, I think? I wrote it down somewhere, too lazy to check, but it was about that number. Aaaand I just started a variant, a Wedlocke~ (Credit to Marriland for that... Basically: Pokémon fight in pairs of one male and one female only - think of it as three parties of two Pokémon rather than one party of six - and one partner must either avenge the other's death or also die if its partner dies). I decided to start with Chikorita, since that's not a starter I use often in Johto playthroughs anyway, who's paired with a Hoothoot~ A pretty good matchup, I think, until I start running into Ice-type moves. Meep. ;w; |

| I never did this challenge. I could never bring myself to do it. I love my team leader dearly once I form it. You spend all that time to train them and then if they faint you have to let go because they're consider dead just makes me want to cry. |
