I've been updating since 6 AM this morning about the live feed event, lots of information on my Twitter (https://twitter.com/missdreamsubs) and also at MissDream.org too - I've uploaded a copy of the video and will have a translation ready tonight after work / eaaaaarly tomorrow morning. xD

This is the best day ever. Oh my god. Kotono and Tohru coming back ;__; A lot of the seiyuu are retired and some are dead so not everyone can come back but Kotono and Tohru came back ;__; And Keiko is still like bffs with Naoko so I'm about 80% certain she'll come back to voice Luna and possibly Beryl as well.

For those wanting to know more about Momoiro Clover Z-



Momoiro Clover Z is a five-member idol group from Japan. They formed in 2008 as Momoiro Clover and are one of the more famous idol groups in Japan right now. They used to have six members, but one stepped down last year, spurring the name change from Momoiro Clover to Momoiro Clover Z. They got their first big hit with the single Roudou Sanka (video above) late last year and their single sales have been on a steady increase ever since. Because there's five members, I have a feeling that senshi versions of themselves will be in the marketing somewhere~

I'm actually not a big fan of them and wish they'd gotten a different idol group instead, but this is still really awesome news!

omg I just remembered. Last year, there was an effort in I think Brazil? I dunno, it was somewhere in South America though- to get a new dub for their version of the anime. It then came out that it wouldn't be happening because Naoko herself had barred any new dubs of the old anime from being made. A lot of people were confused and a little hurt that Naoko didn't want them to have a better-quality localization of her work. But with this news coming out... it must've been because they were already in planning stages of the new adaptation and knew that a new dub of the old anime would be poorly timed and a huge waste of labor when there was a whole new anime on the way. Everything makes sense now ;__; Naoko was thinking of us the whole time ;__;

Well, I'm sure they wouldn't make it a higher rating than the manga (so, maybe PG-15 or something), even if it is for adults. I wouldn't be surprised if a television network picked it up, like Cartoon Network.

I love how as soon as I got on tumblr today, I saw news about this. And I flipped out. I am hugely excited. Like I can't even begin to describe my excitement. I'm surprised I can type and it makes sense!

It was announced this morning in Japan in a broadcast featuring the seiyuus of Usagi and Mamoru. It is legit.

And I was totally hyperventilating. I think I'm most excited that Mitsuishi is reprising her role!! She IS Usagi, there is no other! And I'm super happy that the new anime is for people already familiar with the series!

I think I may be hyperventilating as well! I'm so ridiculously excited for this! We're the original fans of Sailor Moon since adolescence and now we get to experience an updated version for us as adults. This gives me something to look forward to!

This, absolutely. I'm so super happy because she is Usagi/Sailor Moon, for sure.

I'm also super happy that it's aimed at us versus little kids. That means nothing should be skipped or toned down or anything. Woohoo! I really, really hope they keep Haruka's and Michiru's relationship. They're so cute. Maybe add a little more to it. I don't know why they couldn't. 1) it'll be 2013, not the 90s. 2) it's aimed at adults so it's not like we're unaware. Plus, we all found out they're together so it's not like it's a secret. XD and yes I would love to see a bit more Usagi x Mamoru. I would love to see their relationship and how they're truly meant to be together translated into the anime.

On another note, I don't really like this chick band doing Sailor Moon's music. They sound...ehhh....not that great >.> XD but hey, at least we're getting another Sailor Moon!

I don't think the new series will be shown on TV in the States, but I'm sure it'll do great in DVD sales and whatnot. Besides, I think it would do way better on streaming sites like Funimation's official site and Netflix. Though the return of Toonami does open up possibilities... it looks like Toonami's only doing really really gritty actiony stuff now though, with the exception of FMA and to a lesser extent Cowboy Bebop.

I would love for the English dub to be spectacular this time around and on Adult Swim/Toonami. That would be great. Then I could watch both Japanese and English! And English would actually be great too! XD

You never know; anything is possible. But if anything, I'm good with sticking to my Japanese with English subs.

I'm sticking with the Japanese version because it's the version I know and love.

My favorite part about all this is that I have so many feels about it happening and I get to share my love/excitement/chibi self happiness with all of you who understand! 8D <3
