| A long time ago I heard a theory that Rei's pink overalls didn't actually belong to her, and instead she had borrowed them from Usagi (probably, after our beloved Usagi dropped some food on Rei or something, let's be real). Today I saw that some amazing person actually 'shopped Usagi into them. SO! What I want to know is, who wore them best? ![[Debate] The pink overalls! Who wore them better? | Well Usagi looks very bright and elegant in her's, where as Rei looks very upset and not as bright, crisp, and clear as Usagi xD So Usagi by default xD Plus I feel that overalls, especially pink ones, look very strange on Rei. She's not exactly a 'pink' kinda girl xD |

| I love them on Rei. I love them on Rei because in the anime there are a number of moments when Rei acts in a very "girly" or "cheerful" way that is not what others expect of her. She often laughs it off, but she continues to have those moments. Even though it's not what we think Rei would wear, I feel like she would have seen the pink overalls on a mannequin when out shopping and imagined herself being adorable in pink overalls... which I'm sure she is, until she feels self-conscious because it's not how people are accustomed to her behaving. ![[Debate] The pink overalls! | I like them best on Usagi. Maybe it's because the image is so bright and appealing to me in that way, but I think Rei's stance may be off putting a bit too. |

| Japanese 14 yr Olds of the 1990s? Lol always remember sm was set in the 90s and that is why there are always questionable clothing choices. Unfortunately the Japanese were not immune to 90s fashion. |

| I have to agree with Henshinyo. XD I would have 1000% worn those pink overalls at age 14 (as would have most of my friends) and I'd wear them now even as an old lady. |

| I feel like Japanese fashion in the 90s was gaudier than ours here in the states lol.
But they do seem to fit Usagi a little better. Who's to say they didn't share clothes. They're friends we did it in middle school lol. |
