Name of the Storyline: Usagi the Vampire Slayer

Plot Summary: Usagi Tsukino was an ordinary girl, until she discovered she had the power to kill vampires. She is called the Slayer. Usagi has transferred high schools (they don't wear uniforms) and she's a sophmore. She has gone to the library to get her texbooks and meets Luna, a mild mannered librarian who knows a lot about demons. She is Usagi's watcher, charged with helping Usagi learn how to defeat demons and teach her how to fight. During her first day she meets a group of people who become her best friends. Rei Hino: a girl who has mysterious psychic powers, Ami Mizuno: the smartest girl in school who Usagi asks to tutor her, Makoto Kino: a tall athletic girl who likes to bake, and Minako Aino: A girl who also has slayer powers. With Minako is her watcher Artemis who helps Luna in an attempt to train the girls. Usagi also meets a mysterious man named Mamoru Chiba who helps her on her quest to defeat demons.

In Tokyo there is a dark power rising, that power is the power of Queen Metalia, the master of all vampires, the oldest one. With the help of her favorite vampire, Beryl, she sends vampires to help release her from her prison under the city. Beryl was the one who turned Mamoru, so she is very attached to him and wants him for herself, but Mamoru has no feelings for her at all. Beryl uses her stronger vampire brethren Nephrite, Jadeite, Kunzite, and Zoisite to create mayhem in Tokyo with the hope to gain enough blood to free Queen Metalia.

Usagi is a Slayer, Minako is a slayer, Rei is a human with psychic powers, Ami starts off human, but becomes a witch later, Makoto is a human, but she can kick butt. Mamoru is a vampire with a soul, much like Angel in the series, but Usagi and Mamoru stay together.

Details on any necessary information:
This RP belongs in the Buffy the Vampire Slayer universe. Because of this, everyone will have to play by the rules of that universe. If you don't have to know everything about the show or it's universe as long as you're willing to take time to get familiar with how this world is. The senshi are on the first year of high school, not having met each other up until that point. They still retain the basic core of their personalities, but they aren't senshi anymore.

Restrictions: Only the inner senshi, Usagi, Mamoru, and the Dark Kingdom characters please.



Note: You will probably have to submit a new profile for characters in this RPG because it takes place in another universe and are the characters are no longer senshi. You can copy/paste parts of their personality/history that are the same if you already have an existing profile but you'll have to make up their new powers/other details that are different.

I love Buffy and would love to try and be a part of this RP if you'd have me ^^ I'd be interested in Mina or Rei, but leaning more towards Mina for her silly almost ditzy moment that could be funny in this type of setting xD

Haha awesome! I've got the request thread set up. If you'd like to claim Mina let me know and I'll reserve her for you. I'm pretty sure we'll have to create new character profiles for this RP.

Awesome! I've been waiting for this to be approved because Buffy and Sailor Moon are like my top two favorite series of all time so I thought this could be really fun!

It depends on your character, I guess. Like Usagi is her and Buffy put together. A good portion of the characters are different. Differences: Mamoru is a vampire with a soul, Rei is a human with psychic powers (so only slightly different), Minako is a slayer, Ami is human and then becomes a witch, Makoto is human(so not too different), Beryl is a vampire a very strong one, Nephrite, Zoisite, Kunzite, and Jadeite are also vampires stronger than normal ones but not as strong as Beryl.

I can PM Sailor Neptune and see what she'd like us to do.

Since there can only be one slayer at a time, I was thinking of including Minako dying and coming back to life at some point in her history, since I noticed Usagi didn't have that written down and such. But I wanted to make sure that was okay with you guys and everything ^^

Sorry for the double post... again, but I think once the rest of the people who have signed up have their profiles approved we can start. We can NPC characters if we need to and if anyone else wants to do another character let me know. I'm considering a second one myself.

I could claim a second character - I have a profile for Rei. But I can make a profile for Beryl or Luna if you don't want to take them.

Okay MMR, if you'd like another character go ahead. I'm trying to decide who I'd like to pick up, probably Luna or Beryl.

Hey guys how're everyone's profiles coming along? I'd like to start this once everyone's profiles are approved.

Currently working on mine, though you'll have to forgive me. As big of a fan as I am of Joss Whedon, I've never actually watched BTVS.  :bunnycry:I know, please don't murder me.

Currently working on Artemis' profile. What character should I be researching to sort of model him around?

I am slowly working on mine as well! Been busy with moving and settling in and such. I recommend looking in to Giles and maybe just looking up 'the watchers' in general, Maritime! Artemis is playing the fine of a watcher from Buffy ^^ Though Luna will be basically the role of the actual Giles in the show, you could still look him up and learn what he did to help Buffy and adapt that to the rp and Mina!

Maritime: I feel like Artemis is a mix of himself, Jenny Calendar's character, and Giles (as Diana said) you don't have to incorporate that much of their stuff. Artemis is Minako's watcher so he probably came to school when Minako did. He can be a professor at the school as his cover, who has a bit of a secret past, like Jenny, and could even be a male witch or someone just who has an immense knowledge of witchcraft like Giles.

I think I'd like to take on Rei  I really wanna get back into the swing of RPing and I DO love vampire stories xD It would also give me an excuse to actually finish Buffy LOL
