Pokemon Generation Four Challenge!!

My goal is to beat the generation four games. DPP not HGSS. For this challenge I will only be using generation four Pokémon. Who will join me?

Rules:
You must use gen 4 pokemon only.
You are allowed to use pervious gen pokemon that obtain an evolution in gen 4. For example Roseila a gen 3 pokemon was given a preevolution and a final evolution forms.
You are free to catch them all despite their generation.
You may bring over pokemon through trade if they aren't early on like Eevee.

Since I do have Pearl and Platinum, I'll join in. I haven't played them in a while. ^^ Do we just pick one version to beat?

Yes. Glad you're joining in! I have Diamond and Pearl. I might go with Diamond. But I may use my current Pearl file to transfer over version exclusives.

Ooh, I think I'll join in on this. I have both Diamond and Platinum, I'll probably be going with Platinum for this challenge. ^^

My GameStop has Platinum is it worth getting? I saw the pokedex is expanded. It makes me sad that there are like four fire type pokemon. ;-;

I started my Diamond file. I just have Turtwig at the moment. I really like this guy. I named him Kami. XD

Platinum is definitely better than Diamond and Pearl, I'd get it. You get a better battle frontier and a bigger dex, and the engine might run a little faster.
