Today is the 20th anniversary of Pokemon! Pokemon has been making games since 4 years before I was even born--wow!  I've only been a Pokemon fan for a few years, so I didn't grow up with it, but when I picked up Pokemon X and started playing, it honestly changed my life many ways. Today, I think I'll go back to X and play it again to celebrate.   Also, I can't wait for Pokemon Sun and Moon to come out later this year and see all the new and awesome features and storyline! I'm getting Moon, of course! 

What are you guys doing (if anything) to celebrate? 

I'm not doin much to celebrate other then look at upcoming 20th anniversary merch and seeing when/if I can get my hands on it.

Well, I messed around a bit today with Pokemon breeding on X. Does that count?

My husband and I played Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire while watching old Pokémon episodes on Netflix. XD It was a nice way to "celebrate"!

I did absolutely nothing lol though I did pop in pokemon Y into my 3ds and brought it with me that day xD

I didn't do anything for it.

Here's hoping they pump out the commemorative merch at the same rate they have already started to! I need more legendary plushies in my life

I spend the entire day watching the official Pokemon stream and played a bit of Pokemon Y. Finally got a Master Ball from the ID Lottery!

I've only been a Pokemon fan for a few years as well! Ever since I was 15 (so like since 2012). But I absolutely adore it. Sentret and Mewtwo are my babies. I remember seeing Pokemon stuff EVERYWHERE as I was growing up, and I'm happy I finally gave it a chance and got into it because it's such an adorable series.

I think for Pokemon Day I went to Gamestop and got the free poster they were giving away. Last weekend near where I live there was also a Pokemon trading card game state championship event, and there were some dealers selling plushies and things. I finally got myself a Ditto plushie in memory of my cat Ditto. <3
