Storyline Name: Children of the Stars

Plot Summary: Princesses Seiya, Taiki and Yaten have just awakened as the senshi of their home planet, Kinmoku, and are the new Starlights to replace the old ones. Though still only children as they leave their homes to move into the royal palace on Kinmoku and to meet the young princess of their planet, Kakyuu who is younger still than they are, and the princess they must dedicate their lives to protect. The only problem is that their powers have not yet awakened, and how can they protect their princess without their powers? And how will they be able to adjust to being away from the only home they've known up til this point, separated from their parents and friends? Will Kakyuu be able to become friends with the people who will protect her, or will she forever be seperated from them by rank?

But more than that, how can they be a team when they are all strangers to each other? Mischief and mayhem abound as the four children get into trouble in the palace, get out of trouble with each others help, develop friendship, and learn more about each other and themselves.

Details on any necessary information: This roleplay takes place when all of the Starlights are still children, probably 10 years old at the very most, and predates Galaxia. It also takes place on the planet Kinmoku. The Starlights still maintain their anime abilities to physically switch between male and female, which is a genetic trait of all Kinmokuians, meaning even Kakyuu can if she wishes. It is up to the player to decide how their player will discover their attacks, whether it is through internal realization, external reaction to danger, whatever. Kakyuu's player is also free to decide if Kakyuu learns how to transform into a senshi during this roleplay or not.

Restrictions: Canon characters only, no otakus. Only Kakyuu, Seiya, Taiki, and Yaten are required. Any additional characters needed will be NPCED

so did you get any ideas for things you'd like to do in the roleplay while making your profile?

It really depends what people want to do with it, actually, hence why I kept myself from replying instantly.

Do you all prefer if it stays between the four of them and keep it to psychological development? I know I would prefer if Taiki awakened during a crisis, but if the majority of us wants to make theirs awaken passively or innerly, we should go with a calmer plotline.

For a more active route, it can even be as simple as: they were visiting the wilderness of Kinmoku when the princess fell off a cliff (okay this is very lame, but I think it gets the idea across either way xD) awakening one or more of her senshi to come at her rescue (or even awakening herself). The reason I like the idea of a crisis it's because it would force them to actually cooperate and learn how to work together.

Once we know whether we want a calm or action packed plot line (as action packed as a story about small kids can get xD), it will be easier to search for a very detailed plan.

Which do you prefer?

hmmm...might be a bit of a wimpy answer, but i personally would rather like something in between action packed and calmer. i'd certainly like a couple situations that are crisis like and help develope more bonding between them, but i don't want it constantly being them dealing with that.

.....now you got me wondering what the wilds of Kinmoku would be like, if they did exist....XD probably all exotic.

Actually it was what I would consider a perfect mix and my preference also, but I think we do need a bit of a crisis.

Maybe it's cheesy, but I do imagine it a bit exotic and mostly beautiful and colorful. I look at Kakyuu's clothes and I can't imagine her living in a dim place.

yeah, i definitely can picture the palace being a bit....indian perhaps? a warmer climate with lots of open spaces and the blossoms trees, like the flowers she wears. they are the Kinmoku flower i believe...

I think it's olive flowers, but they're """technically""" Kinmoku's flowers. I think she just didn't bother inventing flowers for this x)

And yes, considering how she dresses, I think an indian flair to her palace would be appropriate. Would the small Starlights live in her quarters (probably big enough for three small beds to be added) or in another room? Considering they're her new bodyguard corps it'd be more careful to have them all together, but considering they don't know each other...

Would we make Kinmoku more colorful than Fighter, Healer and Maker's planets? Like they arrive and it's really that big of a difference...

ummmm....good question. i think they would have rooms attached to hers. like two on the side and one behind her room, with doors between them. allows for privacy but closeness. know what i mean?

i could see Kinmoku being really colorful with lots and lots of flowers.

i'm not sure. i haven't heard anything from the other two players on if they are going to make their profiles or not...
