| Let's discuss it! For those of you who haven't read Parallel Sailor Moon, it can be found here. It is not a fan work-- It's a side story by Naoko that is found in one of the materials collections. Okay, so I'll start with the positives. I looove Kousagi. I think she's adorable and I'm just fascinated with her character. I also love the idea of looking at the characters' future civilian lives. But I have a ton of complaints about it. The thing that bothers me the most about this side-story is the portrayal of the characters. Minako looks like a crazy MILF or something, Lita seems the same, and Rei and Ami are just straight up rude! Ami complains about her kid and just makes this rude "IDGAF" face the whole time. And Usagi is portrayed as a complete idiot, regardless of all the things she went through AND having two children. If that wasn't bad enough, Chibiusa comes in acting like a little conceited brat, referring to the kids as "Maxwell's Demons" (in the English translation). Not to mention, I don't even know what that means -.- . And the way she talks to Usa... Oh man. And then the bratty kids come in and are rude to Kousagi, who seems completely normal without having any reason to be outcasted. It's just annoying, where are the loving girls we once knew? More little things: Why do the girls look EXACTLY like their mothers? They're also coincidentally the exact same age, and they have boobs at age 8?? And then... the whole bunny cat thing... what in the hell is going on there... But despite all of my complaints, I'm glad this was written because I think Kousagi is a cutie-pie and I love her What did you guys think? |

| Since it isn't part of Sailor Moon's continuity, I'll let the character changes slide. But I did think their kids were pretty bratty |

| Given that it stars off saying " On a certain dimension" we can conclude it is way different than the original. Heck, we don't know how far or how much 'fighting' they've done. Plus it's 1999, Chibiusa is in 9th grade and Kousagi is 8. The math is so weird there. Only one plausible is Kousagi and the other little kids. Wonder if this means that Chibiusa travelled back and stayed? (I don't know how this is possible I should not think on the possibility of Chibiusa here since Usagi would've had to have been like.. 12 or something to have had her and Kousagi in the same timeline...)
Ugh, Parallel Moon hurts my head time wise.
I think Chibiusa is referring to this: Maxwell's Demon
Also, I don't think it's too out of touch that third graders having/developing more in that area. (Personal experience tells me that's not unusual in the development of girls. )
The girls are mean, but then again..I have to say I'm not exactly surprised that they don't want to be friends with her. Sometimes that happens to kids who's parents expect it of them to be besties with their best friends' kids.
Though really I just think it's a silly thing Naoko probably wrote just to blow off steam or maybe some idea she had and set aside because it doesn't fit in the storyline. All and all I consider it cute but a little annoying when it comes to some of the parents.
(Like is there a social thing that I'm missing about Rei's husband being a teacher and working at the shrine?)
Though I like how none of them have really glamorous lives and are completely ordinary. Like the princess and all that didn't determine their futures at all. It was nice. |

| The story is set in a parralel universe. it's not even sure if the five original sailor senshis are senshis in this universe. My opinions is that Kousagi and her "friends" are the only sailor senshis of this world. Look at Luna, Artemis and Diana in the first page. They obviously are regular cats here :B |

You know what, that makes total sense. I'm gonna go ahead and believe that's exactly what happened |

| I like to think either like what Mayonnaise said where the original Senshi where never Senshi;
or the Usagi choose not to become Neo-Queen Serenity in wanting a normal life VS the life of always fighting and such.
Though the first would make a bit more since, though then - How would they have became friends and so on? |

| I am positive that this is an alternate timeline/dimension that is 100% oridnary. Ordinary cats, ordinary Usagi, Minako, Rei, Makoto, Ami, Michiru, Haruka and Setsuna. I also believe that it might have been a dream, as the end of the manga suggests it could be a dream or have really happened in that AU timeframe/dimension. That being said, I find it unlikely that it is the same world as the original Sailor Universe because Chibiusa would not be able to live in the past forever because one she's born she'd begin to disappear, and if she's never born then there is no point of her staying in the past because she wouldn't exist. - Quote :

When it comes to their ages, I image the moms of the story are much older then thought because Makoto mentions she's been married for 9 years, they just look really good for their age, as any manga/anime character does, except Rei's grandfather lol... I imagine they are in their early to mid 30's. Plenty of Asian women in their thirties look like they are still in high school, it's just their genetics. I believe this story was created because of Naoko's original design. Originally Naoko wanted to draw Usagi with Pink hair and Blue eyes but she was told to change it. This idea also inspired Chibiusa's character design. Parallel Moon was made after the series finished, so it was probably a random way to write a different take on the characters she's come to love. I do however, like the idea of Kousagi being a second daughter the the Queen, and the girls each having a mini-me daughter like Usagi and Chibiusa, so I use this work to inspire my art and fanfiction^^ |

| Me too! I feel as if though as they grow up they'd be friends though, kids can be quite the vicious little bullies lol. they pick on her cause despite not being drawn chubby, her description is that she IS indeed chubby, clumsy and weird so the kids bully her :/ mean but I have hope they'll grow out of it lol |

| I've only seen a few episodes of PGSM but from what I hear it's very popular^^
Another reason why I think it was made for fun is because of how silly and random it is. A bunny horde, and eating them? It screams silly and fun C: I love it to pieces! She should make more!
Honestly I don't like the bullying either but I imagine it would ease over time into friendly affectionate teasing like Rei and Usagi^^
I love pink too!!! I wish she had stuck to her original design. Boy were her editors wrong when they told her to scratch the idea because the cover didn't pop as much as Sailor V's manga. Once Chibiusa's character debuted everyone was making pink haired manga characters!
That's why if I ever actually make a manga, it's my way or the highway lol |

| i think Parallel Sailor Moon is kind of cute. Kousagi is just adorable and i love Stellar (i call pink cat Stellar since Luna is luna) Although i'm a little confused why Chibiusa's hair hasn't grown out to resemble her mothers And why are the Chibi Inners basically carbon copies of their mothers, except a whole lot meaner |

| I thought it was a cute story but I agree with everything you said, and I never liked stories where the character's children turn out to look and act just like them...where't the originality? I think it would have been more interesting if for example Ami's kid was more like Usagi, and Ami was always lecturing her to study. Stuff like that. |

| I liked it despite how horrible the personalities the inner senshi were. At least Naoko didn't do much for the outers. Yes, as usual Chibi-usa was a brat(no surprise there). |
