It's been confirmed. There was a special showing of acts 13 and 14 and people tweeted that they just changed Usagi's brooch. XD

i think they did have their star power sticks in the trailer, but that being said with the 3d animation it's not that hard to swap out one for the other and keep the rest of the animation the same. Its not what people want to really hear but it's true. so they could keep the same transformations, even with their star power sticks. 

Which sucks... but still

I'm not surprised. This is Toei after all. In precure when the main cures appear they do a special group transformation. If there's a fourth cure that comes later into the season they just basically add some clips of the fourth cure. They dont make a new group transformation.

The old anime had the same sequences with minor touch ups so wouldn't they want to be more creative this time round

it's not a matter of what they want to do or not. it's a matter of what they can afford to do, and if it's true crystal is bombing badly in japan they may not be able to afford to make new transformations, but they might and should touch them up.

Since Crystal isn't doing well Japan do you think  they'll continue to other arcs or just stop after Wisemans defeat?

I think if the merchandise is selling well enough (which it probably is) they'll probably keep the series going to keep the money flowing.

Well at this point I think it depends on what they consider good enough to keep it going. I think that they'd be silly not to redo all that they could, there is an obvious western market for SMC. we're just a crazy if not more for it than they are in Japan. 

But there's more to it than if the merchandise is doing well or not, the ratings are a big deal too and if those don't warrant the next arc then they might just leave it off. 
But for now I am just happy that we're getting the next arc. I think that really taking this one arc at a time is a good thing.

Well there goes everyone's argument that the five minutes we spent on full transformations for four senshi a couple episodes ago was SO IMPORTANT because we'd never see them again.

I never believed it for a second... I don't know why people keep giving Toei the benefit of the doubt.

The first thing I like (& nobody has mentioned here yet), is the improvement to the graphics of the "space-time" warp where Chibiusa fell from.

The way it expands and the way "space" seem to get sucked in and forced out at the same time  Beautiful graphics and animation there!

Well if it follows the manga any, the sisters will hardly get any screen time and will die right off the bat. Or maybe they will keep them around only to be a love interest for the Senshi?

I'M CRYING. But seriously Chibiusa just looks...weird. The henshin pens look weird. Everything just looks weird to me. It's as if they put no effort in whatsoever because they know fans will watch...and we are. I always felt Crystal was made just for them to have an excuse to pump out merchandise and this unfortunate lack of care isn't swaying my disbelief. *shakes fists at Toei*

I like Chibiusa too, it seems they're gonna handle her drama very well this time. Well, at least from the trailer... Let's see how it goes.
And I'm happy they're keeping Moon Pride, it's such a great song. It could be the theme song until the Stars arc, if it's gonna continue, of course. The ending could've been changed, though... I don't really like Gekkou. But as there's no new ending in the Soundtrack album, it's obviously gonna be the same.

Pluto is everything!!!!!!!! Also I find Chibiusa's voice less high pitched and annoying than the original, so I'm okay with it.
