| Subject: (Approved) Relaxed Civilian: Shingo Tsukino 25th November 2014, 1:01 pm | |
| Character Name: Shingo Tsukino Gender: Male Age: 26 In first arc. (To develop later!) Character Image: Blond hair, green eyes, dresses down for comfort. Slightly unkept physical appearance, the kind of guy who would wear the same jeans and t-shirt for days if his job allowed it. His hair is now down to his shoulders, and he doesn’t feel the need to cut it. When people complain, he simply puts a basic baseball cap on to help maintain/hide it. His normal appearance would be jeans, a t-shirt appropriate for the weather slightly wrinkled; sometimes with a graphic on it depicting his current interest. He always has his messenger bag on him outside of work, carrying his laptop and whatever else is necessary for his current project. Was popular throughout his schooling years.
Storyline Specific Information: Uncle of Chibiusa and Kousagi Tsukino-Chiba. Brother in-law to Mamoru Chiba. Has been watching over his older sister Usagi as she has fallen Ill with some unknown sickness. Loves both his neices, but experiences frequent deja vu at certain points when interacting with Chibusa. Is extremely anxious with his sister being sick but only Mamoru notices. Has started smoking, and nobody in his family is aware of it. Just what is going on with him? RP Sample: Your character is running late for a meeting! Why are they late and what do they say when they get there? ((Reply as a role-playing post!)) “Shingo!”
For about the third time that morning, a loud and repetitive rapping echoed throughout the apartment. A woman looks down at her wrist in a panic; how many times has she done this? How much time has passed since she last checked the time? Knocking her wrists together to ease her anxiety, she knocks on the door again.
“Shingo! Are you home?”
Suddenly, a crash is heard, followed by a whole swirl of swear words. Any other assistant would have immediate been alarmed. Anyone not familiar with the individual residing inside would have immediately assumed the worst, and would have called the police to help break up the fantastic struggle that was taking place within.
But she knew better. The only struggle taking place was between Shingo and the wall. More specially, the fixtures that were so neatly arranged against it. She wondered what the collateral damage was this time? A clock? A light fixture? An entire bookcase that he had put together without the instructions because he wanted it to be put together in a day so he didn’t fall behind with his other projects?
A few more guttural swear words were heard as the scuffle of socked feet rushed to the door. The doorknob wiggled a bit longer than it should have, finally opening a crack with a small creak.
“ ‘lo.”
She sighed at the sleepish attempt of a greeting. Looking him up and down, she whistled in surprise. A half-buttoned dress shirt-and by half buttoned we mean those fastened are in the wrong spots- adorned his torso. One part of the collar was flipped up, the other smushed down. His hair was made him look like a monster of the night, sticking out in various directions with snarls and frayed edges. At least he had jeans on this time. There were times where he had answered the door wearing nothing but his boxers.
“How late were you up to this time?”
Smacking his lips together to keep his mouth from getting any dryer and rubbing his eyes groggily with the crux of his arm, he gave a one-word reply:
“Five.”
“In the morning?”
She asked.
“Yup.”
He replied. She opened her mouth to retort, but he raised a single hand to prevent her from further scolding.
“And no. No, I wasn’t drinking.”
“I never said you were.”
Shingo grinned. His assistant knew him well. Reaching down, he produced a brown suitcase and thrust it into her arms in a swift and sudden motion. She hardly got a grip on it; the momentum and weight of its contents causing her legs to buckle and she almost fell over. Eventually, she steadied herself and lifted the metal clasps to peer in and review its contents. Her eyes must have gotten wider then she anticipated, because a cheerful snort came from behind her. “ I figured you’d want to know what I was doing up so late. So instead of our usual back and forth BS, I decided to have you see it for yourself.”
“H-how did you do this!? The project was only assigned three days ago!” She could barely find the words as she was leafing through each article. Shingo chucked again, and leaned against the doorway to support his wavering and groggy balance.
“Once I got the file in my hands I though “Oh man, I gotta do this now.”” He said with a yawn. “It piked that creative spark, ya know? Once I started, the ideas just kept flowing. If I woulda stopped, I would’ve lost all that. This seems like a fair enough reason to show up late, don’t you think?”
She was flabbergasted. “You mean you knew about the meeting today?” The nerve! To think she was worried about showing up late, when that was what he had intended all along! He affirmed her worries with a swift and single pat on the shoulder.
“Of course I did. What kind of employee would I be if I forgot?” He scratched the back of his head, and frowned, his fingers noting the current condition of his hair. “I figured with all the work I got done, I deserved some extra zzz’s.”
“Oh for the love of-“ She tried to scold him, but couldn’t keep a smile from spreading across her face. That’s Shingo Tsukino for you. The best creative mind they had on staff.
“Alright. You’ve got ten minutes.” Shingo pumped his fist into the air at his tiny victory.
“You got it!” He said cheerily as he shut the door on her before she could finish. She cried out in surprise, then began banging on it, shouting:
“That doesn’t mean you get to have a full five-course meal! Just get dressed and out the door! We’ll grab something on the way.”
“No kidding!” He shouted back. “What do I look like, an Idiot?”
She didn’t want to give him an answer.
