Appearance: Hotaru has short black hair.She has very pale skin,almost as white as snow.The most iconic feature of her is her violet eye's.She is around 4'10" or 147 cm tall.Hotaru mainly wears a black sweate,a short black skirt and leggings.Her school uniform consists of a long sleeved maroon jumper,with a long green checkered skirt and black stockings.Her bow is dark green with blue stripes and she has a black star on her sailor collar.
Personality: Hotaru is a fragile character,both physically and mentally.She has no friends her age and suffers from random seizers.She's often teased and outcast from the rest of her class,due to Mistress 9 possesing her.Her only friend is Chibiusa Tsukino.
Before she was reborn,she was shy,spoke in polite language and was very insecure.She also tened to be gloomy and reserved.
Hotaru likes to collect lamps and eat japanese buckwheat noodles.She hates milk,sports and her fathers assistant Kaolinite.When she is reborn,she is play full and talkative but can revert back to her old personality.She can be very serious at times,which is unusual for a girl her age.Hotaru values her friendship with Chibiusa, calling herself Chibiusa's best friend.She also has a strong bond with the Outers,especially Haruka.As Sailor Saturn,she becomes very serious and is willing to risk her life to save the universe.
Skills: When Hotaru transforms into Sailor Saturn,she has the power of destruction.Using her Silence Glaive,she can destroy a whole planet.
History: Back in the Silver Millenium,Hotaru was known as Princess Saturn.She could only be awakened if the three talismans came together.When Queen Metalia and the Dark Kingdom attacked the Moon, The Outer Senshi awakened Saturn,who swung down the Silence Glaive to destroy the rest of the Moon Kingdom.
She was reborn as Hotaru Tomoe,daughter of Professor Souichi Tomoe.When she was 8 years old,she and her mother Keiko Tomoe were killed in a lab accident.Professor Tomoe made a deal with Pharaoh 90 to revive Hotaru,but she is possesed by Mistress 9.
Professor Tomoe rebuilds her body,turning her into a cyborg.He then opened Mugen Academy,where the Death Busters headquaters were located.
Hotaru was an outcast among her classmates until she met Chibiusa Tsukino.The Outer Senshi realise Hotaru is the reincarnated Sailor Saturn,who they believe is the Messiah of Silence.This causes them to repeatedly attack Hotaru but the Inner Senshi defend her.After stealing Chibiusa's Silver Crystal (in the anime,she stole her Heart Crystal),she becomes Mistress 9,who proceeds to bring the Silence.The three talismans react and Sailor Saturn awakens.She destroys Pharaoh 90 and is reborn as a little baby.Since her father is dead, Haruka, Michiru and Setsuna adopt her (in the anime she lives with Souichi Tomoe until StarS)

Storyline specific information: Hotaru's is now 19 years old.Her hair has stayed the same length,but she now needs glasses to read.When she transforms into Sailor Saturn,her powers reduce the need for glasses.

Senshi fuku: Sailor Saturn's fuku is purple coloured with a maroon coloured bow.Her brooch is shaped like a pure heart crystal.The shoulder pads are pointed and shaped like flowers.In the middle of her tiara is a violet gem and she wears purple lace up boots.As Super Sailor Saturn,her earrings and boots remained the same, her glove fittings were identical to the other Senshi's,her choker now had a golden star in the middle,her collar with one white stripe and the a purple heart as the brooch.She has the regular shoulder pads with translucent parts and her back bow was enlarged and lengthened.
When she transformed into Eternal Sailor Saturn, her choker was V-shaped and the center of her front bow was a lavender five-pointed star in her maroon front bow. Her shoulder pads were large lavender puffs with two patches of purple fabric attached to the bottom. Her gloves became longer, reaching to her upper arms. Her belt consisted of two ribbons, one purple and one lavender, with two long, thin back ribbons, clipped together by a golden five-pointed star. Her back bow was lavender. Her skirt became two-layered, the top layer being purple and the bottom lavender. Her boots were knee-high and white, and each had a purple V-shaped border with a golden five-pointed star at the top. Her tiara gem was a purple five-pointed star and her earrings were dangling, purple five-pointed stars.Henshin phases:Saturn Planet Power,Make-up--Hotaru's first command to transform into Sailor Saturn
Saturn Crystal Power,Make-up--Hotaru's second and final command,which allowed her to transform into Super Sailor Saturn.In the manga,this phase was also used to activate her Eternal form.

Earlier that day,a couple of her classmates had decided to ridicule her.People teasing her wasn't new,but when one of the girls said "No wonder you're a goth,you father is an oddball professor!" that was the last straw.Hotaru couldn't remember what happened next,but she saw fear in their eyes.A cut was forming on one girls hand,the ruby coloured blood trickling out.They ran away screaming.Hotaru was confused.Why were they running from her? Why did they look so scared,so afraid? Why was that girl injured?
"What did i do to them?"
A scream snapped Hotaru from her daydreams.She looked up to see a straw coloured hat fluttering through the wind with a pink haired girl chasing after it.Hotaru knew she had to do something.She stood up and ran,faster than she would in any race.Eventually she caught the hat and kneeled down on the ground,panting and gasping for air.
The pink haired girl had caught up to her and was kneeling beside her."Thank you so much for catching my hat!" she exclaimed."Oh,it was no problem" Hotaru replied.The pink haired girl stood up and held out her hand."I'm Chibiusa Tsukino".
