It's Halloween time again, and that means the Galaxy Cauldron's Annual Halloween RP Event! Hosted by yours truly, this is an event that will take place on Skype as a live time roleplay! For those who were not here for last years event, what makes this event special is there will be mood music playing during the entire roleplay, so please make sure you have speakers to enjoy the creepy ambiance!

This years event will take place in a Halloween themed Carnival that is visiting for 3 days only. Inside are many secrets and dark things. Will you be able to escape the Carnival? Participants, during the course of the event, will be provided multiple choice scenarios. Depending on which choices are made will determine the ending. Players will be guided to each scenario and provided the choices. It's up to you to discuss and agree together which choice the group will take. Just be careful that you don't seal your fate...



The First Night

Everyone arrives at the Carnival entrance dressed in costumes in celebration of Halloween soon to come, though they find themselves getting immensely bad vibes from the supposedly cheerful place. They approach the disturbing grey and white woman who sits inside the ticket booth. When they pay for their tickets, the old woman presents them with a map, and a warning of three rules. Stay together as a group, they will follow the map and go in order of the destinations circled, and they will trust no one.

After this, they are allowed into the Carnival, where they are surprised to find it is empty. Despite it being the Halloween season and the relatively cheap prices of tickets, no one else is there, and the Carnival almost seems as if it had been abandoned for a long time. They realize now that they are inside, they have a choice to make. They can decide to break into smaller groups, separate entirely, or stay together as they were told. After a few minutes of discussion, they all agree to stay together, despite the taunting and prodding of a mysterious voice from the shadows to go ahead and separate.

With their first decision made, they head towards the first place on the map, which is listed as The Fun House. The outside is none to promising, as it seems almost as dilapidated as the rest of the Carnival, but they decide they will do what they paid for. They go inside, and find themselves having to navigate a very dark maze, resulting in constant bumps and missteps. Eventually, they emerged into a maze of mirrors. Again they tried to make their way through, but soon find themselves confronted with a disturbing looking clown inside of a cage of transparent mirror.

He begs them to help him and let him go, claiming to have tripped and gotten trapped. The group are once again faced with a choice. Do they leave him but promise to get help, do they break him free, or do they just leave him? At first they are torn as the clown continues to beg and plead, until he begins to become impatient. He begins to become more menacing, threatening them to break the mirror and let him out.

Scared by the clown, they quickly decide to simply leave the clown, and walk away. As they do, they hear the tinkling of glass breaking and the clown's laughter, but they refuse to turn back to see if he is still there or not. From the maze of mirrors, they come to a hallway of spinning disks placed on the floor. They all stumble a little, but are able to make it through alright, and now find themselves before a very large ball pit.

They are all reluctant to enter the pit, and the mysterious voice from before once again comes up. Agitated with their hesitance, the mysterious voice pushes them all in, and with encouragement from a mysterious creature that moves through the balls, they quickly make it to the other side of the room. It is easy from there, as they climb stairs and slide down a slide that finally takes them out of the Fun House. From there, they are taken to the next place on the map, a photo booth run by a beautiful woman with very long black wavy hair.

They are reluctant when she asks them to take pictures dressed in costumes. They are bothered by their choices now. Will they take a picture in their own costumes, take a picture in the woman's costumes, or refuse the picture entirely? Eventually they decide to wear her costumes and take the picture. She is delighted and informs them they will receive their pictures before they leave.

Now the map directs them to another place, a rickety old roller coaster that is being run by a handsome blonde man with stripes painted on his cheeks. He insists the roller coaster is very fun, and invites them for a ride. Now their choice is, will all or none ride, or will some of them ride? In the end, all but two agree to ride. But oddly when they settle in the cars, before the ride begins, it morphs into an entirely different roller coaster and setting, only to transform back once they come back to the station...




The Second Night

Once the group had finished riding the roller coaster, they got off and despite being mildly confused, were beginning to have a little bit of fun. The map said their next destination was a cotton candy stand, getting them a little more excited. After all, who didn't enjoy the sweet treat? But as they were heading towards the stand, they found themselves stopped by a little boy with short blonde hair and blue eyes who sat by himself crying. Naturally concerned, they stopped to try and comfort the boy.

He introduces himself as Shio and explains how his mother has apparently abandoned him, and when they offer to help him find his mother, he protests, saying that his mother no longer wants him, and he asks if one of the group will be his new mommy. When they try to tell him to just find his mother, he refuses to go with one of them unless one of them will be his new mommy, at least for now. Leah decides to agree to it, and the boy instantly cheers up, promising he will be good for his new pretty mommy.

With that resolved, they continue on the the cotton candy shop, which is being staffed by a young energetic girl with pink hair done in twisted loops. They ask for a few bags, but the girl declines, declaring that her first customers of the night will get fresh delicious cotton candy! She proceeds to pull out a foggy glass jar that when opened, releases a small cloud of green something. She starts the cotton candy machine, and began to drop a disgusting thick green goop into the hole.

But when she got the resulting cotton candy on the cones, it looked just like regular cotton candy. Disturbed, the group reluctantly takes the cotton candy, and due to Shio's constant prodding and begging, decide to test the cotton candy before giving it. As his new mother figures, Leah and Ami both try a bit, and find it sweet and normal. Deciding that it was alright, Shio was given his cotton candy, and everyone ate the treat. Now that they had the cotton candy, they could move on to the next place on the map, a fortune tellers tent.

They enjoyed their walk there, Shio providing constant entertainment. He was reluctant at first, but went into the tent the same as the others. Inside, it looked like any traditional fortune tellers tent, though it was empty. On the second glance around, a woman with long wavy black hair and blue eyes, wearing a circlet with an oval stone over her forehead, had appeared at the table with a crystal ball atop it.

She seemed tired, and she begins insisting to them that they should leave. They instantly become defensive, trying to get a straight answer out of her, but she constantly dodges their questions, only insisting over and over again that they should leave while they still can, and that there is danger in the carnival. The woman begins disturbing the group until they certainly decide to at least leave the tent. As they are about to though, they quickly realize Shio has disappeared entirely, despite being among the group.

Worried for the boy and questioning their sanity, they decide to indeed leave the carnival now. They get to the exit, but is stopped by a man with shaggy brown hair that reaches his shoulders and hides his eyes, dressed in rather traditional ringmaster's clothing. He comes to the group and tells them emphatically how they are not leaving. They had paid their way in, and they agreed to the carnivals rules, so they were going to get what they paid for. He gives a vague threat that they will finish the carnival, or suffer the consequences. With that, he informs them their next destination is the Freak Show, and that they should enjoy themselves. With that, he disappears mysteriously into the shadows....

Not having much choice, realizing they cannot leave yet, they reluctantly go on to the freak show tent, which naturally seems normal on the outside. The moment they are inside however, they are beset by a short bald man who constantly compliments them on their beauty. As an expression of good will to his first customers of the night, he invites them to view his personal collection. A few moments of debate leaves the group deciding this is harmless, and agrees to look at his collection.

They instantly regret their decision, as it is revealed the mans collection is a vast array of horrifying things, such as small baby animals and body parts in jars of liquid, and taxidermy animals with genetic abnormalities, such as a single eye or too many eyes, or multiple limbs. Horrified and overcome with revulsion, the entire group retreats outside to calm their stomach and regain what remains of their wits...


The Third Night

The group took a few minutes outside to settle their violently protesting stomachs, and settle their minds as well. Feeling a little more braver, they reluctantly enter the freak show tent again, relieved when they are not confronted with the small bald man for a second time, and proceed to the first show of the tent. They come to a small room where a pink haired, red eyed woman sits on a stage, with a matching pink beard that stretches down to her knees.

She looks at them sadly, becoming defensive at Rayden's comment about them being freaks, insisting the group is the freaks in this setting. She is soon settled down by the rest of the groups calm questions. The bearded woman explains how she once was like them, until she had been beset with a curse. She tells them the only way to break the curse is if one of them can cut her beard off. She has the scissors to do it, but the curse prevents her from affecting her hair. Eager to help, the group agrees and cuts off her beard. Delighted and much happier now, the woman disappears through the back of the tent. Feeling rather pleased they were able to help, they moved onto the new room.

Here, it was the same set up, but on the stage sat two women with purple hair done in different styles of braids, though the majority of their sides were attached to each other. One of the siamese twins instantly became aggressive towards the group, while the other maintained a sweet personality the entire time. They soon ask the group to settle an argument they have, whether they should take a surgery that would separate them and allow them to live normal lives. The aggressive twin wishes to do it, tired of being smothered by her sister, while the sweet twin is horrified by the idea she may lose her sister, in whatever way.

The group eventually decides that the sweet twin is right in the argument, delighting her and frustrating her sister. With the newest choice made, they move through the rest of the freak show, enjoying performances put on by a strong man, and a woman who can swallow swords and eat fire. As soon as they leave the freak show tent, they find themselves already at their next destination, a balloon popping game.

The man who runs it is handsome, with short dirty blonde hair and wearing an apron. He greets them cheerfully and offers them a free game, though they can pick only one color of balloon to pop. The group easily decides to pop red balloons, and enjoys a few minutes of popping balloons with the darts offered. When they are done, they are allowed to pick a stuffed animal, and are informed they will receive special prizes before they leave the carnival.

A check of the map tells them that they have come to the final destination, which is a tunnel ride of some kind. Ecstatic that the night is almost over, and deciding the ride cannot be that bad, they eagerly head over to it. They find themselves with a ride called the Tunnel of Hell, staffed by a man with pinkish reddish hair and red eyes with a cocky attitude. He dares them to ride the ride, if they think they are brave enough. Because it is the last ride of the night, they all agree to get on.

Once on it though, they realize their mistake. They find themselves going through what seems to be a terrifyingly real scene of Hell, with flames and tortured people and demons constantly laughing and trying to attack the riders. Many of them have to close their eyes, trying to block out the sights and simply get through the ride, though they are shocked into opened their eyes when they are confronted by an extremely large devil with a very pointed chin and incredibly large black horns, and a fanged grin as he reaches a clawed hand to grab them. Somehow he misses, and they are able to finish the ride.

They quickly get off, shaken to their very cores and praying that what they witnessed was indeed just a too well executed ride. Knowing they have completed the carnival, they quickly rush towards the exit only to be brought up short by new horrors. They find themselves faced with Shio, drenched in blood, along with a dead woman with gold and red hair laying on the ground, and the tell tale knife in his hand. He is delighted to see them, proclaiming over and over that he no longer needs his old mommy now that he has a new one. As they struggle to grasp what they are seeing, the siamese twins appear from the fog, the sweet twin laughing and talking to herself, despite the blood staining her side as she carries her dead twin in her arms, nuzzling the body and telling them how she will always be with her beloved sister now, that the group had showed her the way when they told her she was right in the argument, that they should never be parted.

Unable to take anymore of this sick carnival, they all run towards the exit. They almost make it before the Ringmaster appears again, blocking the way. He grins psychotically at them as he informs them that they have indulged in too much evil, and they cannot leave. They will now forever be a part of the carnival. The other members of the carnival, even the ones that the group had helped, gather together around the Ringmaster, blocking the exit as they all laugh at their new family members, who are now trapped inside the carnival.

well..alright. though the being sent on a mission to test his courage doesn't apply. no one knows anything about this carnival. to the characters, it's just the usual cheesy carnival. you know, rides, food, midway so forth, with maybe some halloween elements...like decorations and jack o lantern carving and stuff. there's no reason to suspect anything is wrong with this carnival.

perhaps he's been sent to learn how to socialize on his own?
