And now, without further ado... This month's theme is ... SEA CREATURES!

Entry #1



Name: Sailor Tempest ('Civilian' name: Queen Amphitrite)


- Influences/powers: Comes from a long line of marine royalty; her father was a God and her mother half mermaid / half electric eel. She can conduct and manipulate electricity with her strongest offensive ability, 'Tempest Surge' inherited from her mother which she can use to shock her enemies. This makes her particularly dangerous under water as most sea creatures are weak against electricity. She has a sensory ability that can lead her in the direction of her lovers stolen star seed using her treasure, a pearl orb which was all that she could salvage from her destroyed kingdom. Her fur shoulder decorations, made partly from black coral can extend and envelope her body when attacked.

- Brief description paragraph: Originally consort to the God Poseidon, she and her King ruled a small private kingdom far away and rarely contacted the outside world / sea. Both were fair but strict rulers that only trusted the elite sea creatures and Gods that lived in their Kingdom. One night, in a surprise attack her Kingdom was destroyed by an unknown warrior of Chaos. As the only survivor she vowed to get back Poseidon's star seed at any cost, no matter who gets in the way. Although not necessarily evil, she is a rogue soldier who trust's no one and will do anything and fight anyone to complete her mission.

Senshi's name: Sailor Pyxis

Influences/powers:
She has the power to see the future.
Guided Light: This is her strongest power. She is able to take control of someone's body only when they are unconscious. She only uses this power in dire circumstances.  

Pyxis is a young mermaid who hails from the Heavenly Waters constellations. Like her eight other sisters from the Heavenly Waters she came to earth looking for peace and a way to help her people from the Heavenly Waters. She is the second youngest daughter. She is undoubtedly the strongest of her sisters, but she doesn't have any physical powers of her own to protect herself.

- Icy water attacks, Gals of November winds attack.

-  She lives in the Ice Waters mansion of Lake Superior.  she draw her powers from largest fresh water lake.  she also watches over those who travel on this great lake

Senshi Andraia is able to communicate with animals and shoot purple coloured energy blasts from her sceptre when she’s is transformed. Hailing from a planet in a close by solar system, Senshi Andraia planet is covered in water and her people live under the water. She and her senshi friends protect their planet from threats. From the pirates who are looking for the Niaharima Crystal, which is the crystal that powers their planet and keeps their cities working. They also protect the planet from those who wish to seek to enslave her people. Senshi Andraia currently goes to university when not protecting her planet, studying what we would consider Marine Biology. She hopes to be a vet and help hurt animals.

Name: Sailor Cetus

Influence: Has underwater predator themed powers. She has sharpened hearing and sense of smell, and can detect small movements in the water to track things down. Her physical strength rivals a fully grown shark's, and can tear through thick metal with ease. However, she must keep swimming while transformed or it becomes difficult for her to breathe.

Description: Sailor Cetus lives on planet Mira that orbits the variable star Omicron Ceti in the constellation Cetus. Her underwater city is home to many merpeople who live alongside sea predators like sharks, sunfish, dolphins, and whales. But lurking in the darker waters are much more grotesque creatures, and Cetus became a senshi for the purpose of battling monsters like krakens and sirens. Sailor Cetus is a ruthless warrior like the animal she is similar to, the Tiger Shark, but she is fiercely protective of her home and would never turn on it, willing to fight as long as she needs to in order to keep it safe.

Name: Sailor Melusine

Influence: Beautiful Hypnotic Singing

Power:
Siren's Call!: Melusine sings a beautiful, irresistible melody that entices her enemies to come closer to her, wanting to hear more and more of the song. Once a person gives in to the song, it is incredibly hard to break away from its numbing spell. Melusine can use this to lure her hypnotized enemy into the deep waters in which she resides.

Sailor Melusine became a senshi and a mermaid when she was cursed by her mother. She now much keep her half serpent-like shape and protect the sacred waters of her family. Though she feels betrayed by her mother, and does not get along with her father, Melusine does have a strong relationship with her two younger sisters, as they, too, were cursed. Together, the three of them work together to keep the sacred waters safe, and they hope that one day they will find the way to be free from their curse.

Sailor Rhode


Sailor Rhode is the senshi daughter of Sailor Uranus and Sailor Neptune. While she was not born of them by blood, when their sailor crystals eventually made it back to the Galaxy Cauldron, they fused together to create the sailor crystal for Sailor Rhode. She is the protector of both Sea and Sky and although her true form is that of a mermaid, she can transform herself into human at will. This also means she has a mermaid and a human senshi form as well so that she can protect people in the sea and on land. She is a calm and level headed girl but she's also a bit competitive and stubborn. She gained most of the talents that her soul mothers had so she is a fast runner and swimmer, as well as a very talented Piano and Violin player. She likes to dress up for special occasions but most of the time she prefers the comfort of shorts/jeans and a tshirt.

Name: Aurora

Senshi Name: Sailor Sirenia

Transformation Call: "Sirenia Power, Make Up!"

Powers
“Golden Trident Boomerang!” – Sailor Sirenia chucks her golden trident at the enemy and then it swiftly returns back to her.

“Ocean Blessing!” – She asks for the sealife to help make her faster, so she can catch up to her opponent!

“Aqua Prison!” – Casts a water bubble that causes the enemy to be trapped(immobile) for a few seconds.

“Sirenia Tide Whirlpool!” – Causes the water near the enemy to spin rapidly, creating a whirlpool. It sucks the enemy in for a few seconds and does harsh damage.

Description
Aurora comes from a small village that resides right by the sea. The people survive by fishing and harvesting small plants nearby. One day a fisherman caught in his net something no one had ever seen before. It was a human, but with a fish-like tail. The village people quickly killed it, for it must be cursed! It was an abomination! Something like that should not exist! From then on, the people of the village slightly feared their beloved water. Scared of what else they’d find.

One day Aurora swam out to sea, it was her favorite activity. It relaxed her and she felt more at home than she did on land. She was floating on her back when she felt something grasp her leg and pull her under the water! She screamed as it drug her deeper in to the seas depths.  With the sudden lack of oxygen she began to slowly black out.

‘This is it.’ She thought. ‘This is where and how I’m going to die.’

She awoke with a harsh gasp and slowly opened her eyes. Water…everywhere! She silently screamed, thinking she was still being drug through the water by whatever pulled her under. Then she looked down….and saw her tail.  She screamed again. She had turned in to the one thing she used to fear! An abomination! She could never go back to her people or see her family. They would just kill her. She cried to herself, well as much as you can cry under the ocean, and slowly started accepting the new person she was. She eventually got better at swimming around and started to enjoy being under the ocean! She felt a strength she never felt before in her life.  

Aurora, upon almost running in to a shark, discovered she had developed magical powers. She could control the water! She quickly made friends with the fishes and seahorses and learned she could control them as well! They helped her to start building a home for her, when a tribe of mermaid swam over. Aurora was startled!  She didn’t know that there could be so many mermaids in the ocean! They all quickly became friends and slowly built a city for themselves. When they learned that Aurora had unique abilities that none of them had, they quickly made her their princess and built her a palace!  

She was finally happy with her life. Aurora spent days doing things with the other mermaids, and lovingly ruling over and protecting her people with her golden trident and her powers.  They decided to name their city Sirenia and hoped to live their peacefully and happily for many more years to come.
