Appearance: Kunzite is mainly distinguished by his long, white hair and unique, periwinkle eyes. He is rather tall, standing at 6'0". He has a muscular build, and a noble, stoic face. The pigment of his skin is rather pale, but it brings out the light shade of his eyes. He typically wears plain t-shirts, tennis shoes, and jeans - the normal attire for a college student. When in the need of dressing up, he'll stick with a button-up shirt and pants. Sometimes he wears brown-colored contacts, because he is insecure about his "feminine" eye color.
Personality: Kunzite is very calm, cool, and collected. He is very good at operating under pressure, and is good at handling multiple things at once. He doesn't let negative thoughts or outcomes plague his mind, and is always set on living in the present. He doesn't let petty things get in his way. A college student, Kunzite is very mature and intelligent. He graduated high school as valedictorian and went on to attend one of the top universities in Japan. He is extremely organized and responsible, and likes to keep his life in order. Plans, lists, and strategies are required for him to live peacefully. He tries to avoid women, in fear that they will provide a distraction to his studies, but can be quite the charmer when he needs to be. As a shittenou, Kunzite is very strict and sometimes bossy, in order to keep his peers in line. As the oldest and head of Endymion's guard, he feels that he is responsible for keeping everyone under control. Kunzite's goals for his future is to graduate college with high honors and go on to be the head of his own law firm. He works hard to reach that goal, and refuses to let anything stand in his way. He is fond of fancy restaurants and the sunset, and tends to steer clear from dreary weather and ignorance. He has little respect for whiners and procrastinators. Despite pressures, Kunzite refuses to indulge himself in anything concerning drugs or alcohol. However, he has an extreme fondness for watches, and has a rather large collection in his small apartment. Kunzite's only fear is not knowing what's in front of him. Complete darkness, loss of control, and emptiness are contributions to this fear. But when it comes to protecting those he loves and doing what he thinks is right, he is invincible.
Any Unique Abilites/Skills: Kunzite is very good at analyzing things, and is very aware of his surroundings. His years taking martial arts have provided him with very quick reflexes and superior fighting skills. He is a fantastic actor, and was the lead in multiple plays during his high school years. Kunzite is also exceptional at discovering when someone is lying to him.
History: During the Silver Millennium, Kunzite served as the head of Prince Endymion's military force, guiding and instructing his fellow shittenou and the army they commanded. He was very close to his prince, and often acted as if they were brothers. When Prince Endymion began to have his secret rendezvous with Princess Serenity of the Moon, Kunzite began to have his only little romance with Princess Minako of Venus. He fell head over heels for the Goddess of Love, and worshipped the ground she walked on. His heart was in her hands, but he ended up betraying her, under the influence of the evil Queen Beryl. He was manipulated into hating the people of the Moon and those who served the royal family, and in his dark hatred he assisted Queen Beryl and the other shittenou into destroying the Moon Kingdom. A traitor and a servant of darkness, Kunzite now served under the evil Queen Beryl. Queen Serenity locked Kunzite and his other shittenou away for a thousand years, until finally they escaped with the aid of Queen Metaria. Free, Kunzite worked with those of the Dark Kingdom to find the Imperium Silver Crystal and take control of the Universe. Unfortunately for them, they were stopped by Sailor Moon and her senshi, reduced to nothing but lifeless stones. However, after Sailor Moon defeated Queen Beryl, Kunzite was revived, brought back to life by the rejuvenating light of the Silver Crystal. He was given another chance to live in Tokyo, and now mills about as a regular college student.
Other Noteworthy Facts: Kunzite is an Aquarius, and his blood type is A+. His favorite gem is kunzite (kind of a given), and he has an addiction to coffee.
Storyline Specific Information: Forgotten Heroes - After the fall of the Dark Kingdom, the four shittenou are given a second chance at life. Determined to protect the senshi and their lives as teenagers, Luna and Artemis swear not to reawaken them. But when a new enemy poses a threat against Earth, Luna and Artemis are desperate for help. One day, Luna comes across Zoisite, surprised to find that he and the other shittenou had been granted a second chance. Realizing that the shittenou were the senshi's only hope of living a normal lifestyle, Luna and Artemis reawaken their memories and set them to the task of defeating the new enemy, who later shows herself to be Selena, the long lost sister of Queen Serenity.
Betrayal of Our Prince - The relationship between the shittenou and Endymion is strong, but with the frequent visits to the Moon, it has been getting weaker and weaker. When the castle servant Beryl becomes jealous of Endymion's love for the Moon Princess, she goes after the shittenou. How she convinces them to betray their loyalty to their prince is a story that was never told.
Once Upon a Dream - After the defeat of Queen Beryl, the shittenou and senshi were all given second chances at a normal lifestyle in 20th century Japan. Without any magical abilities, they are all able to live without the burden of protecting the Earth. Years pass with no threats imposed against Earth, and soon, Minako enters her first year of high school. There, she meets Kunihiro Kinzoku, the reincarnated form of her former lover, Kunzite. Now an upperclassman football star, Kunihiro basks in popularity and winning records. But when he spots Minako, that familiar pull of lovers turns him upside down. He has to find a way to cope with these new feelings and put this freshman girl in her place, but how can he do that when he keeps falling for her?
Love and Spite - All his life, Klaus grew up being pressured by his single father to graduate high school and take over the family business. This constant pressure was hard on Klaus, especially because his dream was not to take over the family business, but to become a professional athlete. He was always great at the beautiful game of football, and his hard work helped him rise to team captain his sophomore year of high school at Rosethorn School. His father, however, never supported him, and refused to pay for any of Klaus's athletic expenses. Furious at his son's rebellious behavior, Klaus's father would constantly insult him and make sure Klaus was aware of how much of a disappointment he was. This verbal and emotional abuse caused Klaus to become a very stoic, calm person, after dealing with so much struggle and pressure his entire life. Although the actions made by his father against him still hurt, Klaus refuses to let anyone know. The only person who knows about Klaus's home life is Endymion, his best friend since kindergarten. Endymion had always been there for Klaus, and his parents would always welcome him into their home.
In exchange for his support and good friendship, Klaus was always a good confidant for Endymion, and he always helped Endymion through his many endeavors. When trying to raise money to save Rosethorn, Klaus convinced the football team to participate in the campaign. He also joined the Student Council committee to further support Endymion, who was the class president. When Rosethorn was closed, Klaus, Endymion, and the other members of their group (Nephrite, Zoisite, and Jadeite) continued to maintain their leadership at their new high school: Verona. But the rival school, Silver Academy, joins them at Verona, and the heated rivalry continues as the battle for Student Council begins. But a certain blonde beauty by the name of Minako catches Klaus's attention, and suddenly the Student Council rivalry is not at the top of his attentions.
The Lunar Chronicles: New Moon - In this Silver Millennium RP, the first meetings and the events that follow between Serenity and Endymion, along with the senshi and shittenou, will be explored.
Boys and Knights - After spending his entire life learning from his father, Kunzite is finally accepted into the Earth Palace for his chance to serve as Prince Endymion's shittenou. But he is the oldest of the new trainees, and his maturity makes him more impatient with his younger accomplices. Whether or not his new obstacles will prevent him from fulfilling his goals is something only time will tell.
The Lunar Chronicles: Waxing Crescent - After Endymion invites Serenity and her senshi to the ball on Earth, Kunzite highly anticipates getting to see Sailor Venus again. When he does see her at the ball, he is completely awestruck yet again by her flawless appearance and brilliance. It becomes difficult for him to maintain his calm, cool personality when there is a woman who makes his heart beat out of control, and he can only hope the she reciprocates his feelings.Shittenou Information
Realm of Influence: Physical Combat & Energy Fields
Henshin/Transformation Phrase: Kunzite does not have a transformation phrase, but rather uses his symbolic kunzite stone to transform. In order to do so, he smashes it on the ground, and streams of silver mist surround his body, changing his clothing to that of a shittenou.
Shittenou Uniform: The basis of Kunzite's uniform is a grey jacket with grey pants. The inside of the jacket is made of light blue silk. A black belt wraps around his waist, with black boots on his feet. White gloves cover his hands, and blue epaulets trimmed in gold hold a silver cape on his shoulders.
Powers: Kunzite does not have any specific power phrases, but he is capable of using magic to manipulate surrounding energy fields to work based on his commands.
Weapons/Magical Items: Sacred Sword - This sword is one crafted during the Silver Millennium, made of indestructible metal. Sacred text is engraved on the blade, and the hilt is completely black. It is fashioned to fit only Kunzite's hand.
Kunzite Stone - This small stone glimmers a faint green shade, shaped like a pyramidal crystal. It is the source of Kunzite's life and power, and without it, he would not be able to live. To transform, it must be thrown onto the ground, where it shatters to release Kunzite's powers. It returns to its original form once Kunzite de-transforms.
RP Sample: A handsome young man by the name of Kunzite exits his final class of the day, stretching as he heads towards home. It had been a long Saturday, one filled with law enforcement exams and historical lectures on the Japanese government. He was exhausted, filled with dread for all of the studying he had to do when he arrived home. Lethargy pulled at his eyelids and muscles, but he made the trek home nonetheless. He silently cursed himself for deciding not to take his car that morning.
Feeling the need for a pick-me-up, the white-haired individual decided to stop at the nearby cafe to grab some coffee. Sliding onto a bar stool, he ordered his coffee and sat with his head in his hands. The cafe was mostly empty, except for an old couple talking quietly on the other end of the room. '
Most people are out partying at this time of night," he thought to himself.
His thoughts were interrupted by the opening of the cafe doors behind him and the sound of girlish laughter. Glancing behind him, he noticed a girl and someone he assumed was her boyfriend entering the cozy area. Her hair was long and blonde, seeming to almost sparkle against the lights of the cafe. Her mouth was open, making the most beautiful laugh Kunzite had ever heard. Her bright blue eyes were shining with life and happiness, and for some odd reason, he was compelled to laugh along with her. Because he was such a prominent observer, Kunzite also noticed that the boyfriend of the girl looked very bored and unhappy. Confused, he turned back to his coffee that had just been placed in front of him.
Minutes later, the periwinkle-eyed man heard the girl's beautiful voice cry out from a few feet away:
"Yaten, wait, don't end it like this!"
Kunzite turned, finding the beautiful girl holding her hand out to stop her "boyfriend." He shrugged her off and murmured an apology before leaving the cafe, leaving the girl to stand there alone. The room was silent, with just the sound of the girl's tears hitting the floor echoing around them. Suddenly, she turned toward her sole audience member and smiled halfheartedly. She looked to be about eighteen. With a small sniffle, she turned and exited the cafe, trudging down the street.
Completely forgetting about his coffee, the Kunzite raced after her, jogging to catch up with her. He grabbed her wrist, causing her to spin around in surprise. "C-can I help you?" she asked, surprised. He smiled at her, deciding that he could forget about studying for one night.
"Yes, I think you can."
