Appearance:  Artemis is a lengthy feline without much belly-fat to his long muscular frame. An attractive cat, but with his short hair, “boring” monochrome complexion, and an average-length tail, not exactly fawned over by every passing cat-enthusiast. That is, if it weren’t for the peculiar marking on his forehead. On the crest of his brow lies a golden sigil: not exactly part of his fur, but not exactly a bald-spot either, it appears for all the world to be a crescent moon… but then, upon second inspection, it’s not that strange right? Stranger, in fact, are his bright green eyes, and the odd intense intelligence they show…
While Artemis may be just a cat, he has some disguising ability about him that makes his crescent mark seem to be an inconsequential part of his appearance; normal humans can see it, but think very little of its strangeness.

"Human Appearance": On Mau, and in times of great stress or need, Artemis can transform his body into that of a human. Tall, standing around 6 feet, his human form is quite comparable to his feline - he's still lengthy, has a muscular frame without much belly-fat, is quite attractive, and has pale, even-toned skin, which could be described as 'monochrome.' The main difference would be between his tail and corresponding hair length; while both are white, his tail is not remarkably long by cat standards but his hair is quite long in human comparison. It reaching past his hips in the back, cut short in the very front to frame his face. Completely unchanged are his bright, somewhat playful green eyes and the golden crescent mark on his forehead.
 
Personality:  Artemis describes himself as “the smart, sensitive tomcat”, and statements like that are definitely part of his personality. While maybe a little too proud of himself, he nonetheless is good at his job – he provides excellent council, stemming from years of experience and a quick, sharp mind; is rather brave, stepping into situations that are dangerous in order to protect someone or further the mission’s goals; is encouraging towards others, backing up their dreams and ideas when he believes them to be valid; and makes quick decisions when necessary.  However, beyond those and his loyalty lies a few negative traits, including his somewhat critical nature, habitual sarcasm, and his tendency to overreact or throw tantrums when he’s not being taken seriously – his pride is precious to him and he has high self-esteem, and does not appreciate being ignored when he has something to say.
In stressful situations, Artemis is quiet, always thinking and analyzing the situation, preparing to act or give advice as soon as the right situation presents itself; however, in times of ease and peace, Artemis can come off as goofy, silly, overly-emotional (in an amusing way), and occasionally clumsy.
His dreams and goals are to see the Senshi succeed against their enemies, to help them grow into the powerful women he knows is inside of each of them, and… perhaps, get married to a certain someone in a beautiful church.

Any Unique Abilities/Skills: Artemis can act as a key to a dimensional storage area; by performing backflips and concentrating on the item he wishes to summon, the item will appear and fall to the ground before him. He has access to many tools that the senshi will need in order to take down the Dark Kingdom threat.
Artemis also has the unique ability to speak human languages, even though he is (technically) a cat. 
 
History: In the Silver Millennium, Artemis and Luna were advisors to Queen Serenity, and were oftentimes involved with training her daughter, Princess Serenity, and her daughter’s guardians, Sailors Venus, Mercury, Mars and Jupiter. Of them, Luna focused more on training the Princess, instructing her on etiquette and all else a future ruler would need, while he, Artemis, took on the responsibilities of training the leader of the group, Sailor Venus, who would also serve as the Princess’s double, a primary defensive strategy for the heir’s safety.  Throughout the training he became rather attached to the young warrior, and the team, though he endured much teasing and rough-housing being the rambunctious Venus’s primary guardian.
He spent many hours outside of training with Queen Serenity, and respected and loved her for the woman and leader she was, and the hope she had for the future. Luna, who he would often spend time with, had always caught his eye, but despite his attempts to catch hers, he would usually fumble things up and come off as a spaz. He had hopes, though, that eventually…
But then the Moon Kingdom fell.
That night was a nightmare that Artemis kept hoping to awaken from, but in the end, it was just he and Luna, kept safe by circumstance, who were spared. They found Queen Serenity in her final moments, and swore to carry out her plan. They would go into hibernation, awakening only when the Dark Kingdom threat surfaced, having been reborn with the citizens of the Moon Kingdom. They would search Earth for the Senshi, awaken them, and guide them, teaching them to fight off the enemy and defeat it before it became entrenched and history repeated itself.

Storyline Specific Information: 
Sailor Luna – Artemis has yet to meet Minako, and has instead been searching high and low for her, or any senshi, since the Dark Kingdom’s attacks began. As he was unable to locate Minako, several of the early Dark Kingdom plots were successful… it’s only a matter of time before something serious happens. They need to find Sailor Venus and the other Sailor Senshi, and then Princess Serenity, before it’s too late…
But already the planet fails. Without the power of the senshi to combat the energy-sucking Dark Kingdom forces, it has been up to Japan’s police and military to attempt to combat the threat. Their efforts have proven to be only a bump in the Dark Kingdom’s plans… and all Artemis can do is watch, wait, and continue to search for signs of Senshi energy… though he has yet to find any.
 
 
 
Guardian Name:  Crescent Moon
Realm of Influence(s): Illusionary Lunar Power; often uses the reflection of Moonlight if he needs to attack.
Henshin/Transformation Phrase: Disguise Power! Turn me into a ___________ (changes depending on the situation)
Guardian Outfit: In every situation where The Crescent Moon appears, he is wearing something different. From military garb to talk-show-host suits, from figure skater to tuxedoed gentleman, Crescent Moon’s outfit is tailored to the battle at hand!  However, he is limited to transforming only once per battle.
But while his outfit changes, his general appearance does not. Once transformed, Artemis takes his appearance as it would be on Mau; a humanoid: tall, pale skinned, with green eyes and long white hair down past his hips. The golden crescent mark appears on his brow, the middle of his forehead, but is typically covered in most of this disguises.
Powers: Crescent Moon doesn’t have much in the way of “powers”, per se, but he does have a mirror compact that he uses to reflect moonlight into people’s eyes to create a distraction. He performs speeches to create diversions, is rather agile and strong to help when necessary, but has nothing by way of magical ability.
Weapons or Magical Items: Sometimes weapons are included in his disguise, so his weapons can change from battle to battle; the only constant is the Crescent Mirror Compact that he uses to reflect light.
This compact will also transform the right girl into Sailor Venus, if her reflection is ever seen within it.
 
RP Sample: Heavy rain fell, white noise to his thoughts as Artemis considered each passing girl from his perch just beneath the awning of a food stall. Nothing was right about any of them. Nothing looked familiar, or felt familiar; none of them gave him any readings that he was hoping to find. None of them was a Sailor Senshi. The fur on his back prickled as dark energy crackled through the air; they were on the move again. Who knew what sinister plot they had in store, or what grand plan they were chasing this time around; the Moon Kingdom was destroyed, what more could they want? Even so, they had begun operations in Tokyo, stealing energy for some great scheme.

 
And without a senshi, they were practically unstoppable.
 
Artemis stood, stretched, and launched off his platform, landing lightly on his feet as his body soaked up the rain saturating the air. He had to find them.

Phew, this week's been nuts XD

Okay! For describing Artemis's human form, would you like his short description in the "Guardian Outfit" section expanded, or want something similar to that moved up to be included in his appearance section? Or both? XD

Hmm... I think I'll keep it specific to this storyline for now, as the whole second half is tailored to Sailor Luna and Tuxedo Cat XD  In the future I might throw all that into a spoiler for that specific storyline, though!
