Now write a fic at least 500 words (it can go as long as you want!) using the randomly chosen characters and possibly-randomly-chosen alternate universe, and submit it below when you're done! Every five days we're going to have a reading party (what whaaat I'll bring the balloons!) over a chat service (Cbox here or Skype!) and read everyone's entries, get excited about them, and talk about them! If you'd like your fic to be reviewed in detail at one of these parties, say so at the end of your post!

You can do as many as you like! Submit at least one before the end of August to receive Challenge Points!

Er, and remember Guild Rules about PG-13 and stuff. BEGIN!

XD sorry, you just need to roll the die of your choice? Like at the bottom you can choose to make it like a 15 sided die, or a 50 sided die, and it'll just give you a random number ^^'

Anything goes~ pick a universe and throw them in! If it makes sense for them to have their powers there, go for it! If it doesn't quite make sense, but you want them to anyway, go for it! If it doesn't make sense and you don't want them to, go for it! XD Seriously anything goes. Tis the magic of AU.

You could always have one of the Shitennou come in as a patient and have yaten and ami try to deal with them and not loose their patience lol good luck with that one.

i know we are limited to 4 characters for the story but can i have a non roll character leaving a voice mail on a phone (ie michiru leaving a message on harukas voicemail?) i made it where michiru had no dialogue Smile

AU Cousins

Luna

Haruka

            Rei had gotten the letter in the mail about a week ago. One of her cousins had written her asking if she could come for a visit. Rei had read over the letter multiple times, and tried to search her mind for this cousin, every time she drew a blank. The letter was signed with the name Shae and she could not place him to save her life, yet she was packing a bag to go and see this cousin. She realized she may as well go meet him; after all she didn’t have very much family here in Tokyo, and thought it would be nice to meet someone else in her family. She would take the train to Osaka the following day and she was actually excited about it.

            Haruka had just returned from a long run. She came home and got a glass of water. She saw she had a message in her answering machine. She pressed play as she sat down on her recliner and stretched her legs out in front of her. The message was from Michiru. She told her she would be in Germany a bit longer; she had become quite a hit over there and was enjoying playing the violin for the people in Germany. She said she missed Haruka and wished she could have been there with her, but she understood why Haruka had to stay behind. She said goodbye and told her she would be home soon. Haruka was happy for Michiru; she knew how much her teal haired companion loved the music and how at peace it made her and those around her. Lately many people had been asking about their relationship and while their relationship was strong and they loved each other deeply, Michiru was still nervous about telling the press and fans the truth about her and Haruka’s relationship. Haruka had understood Michiru’s fears and told her that she could tell them they were cousins, until she was ready to reveal the truth about their relationship.

            Haruka had been so lost in thought she hadn’t noticed Luna come into the room. Luna had been staying with Haruka and Michiru for some time now. Usagi and the others had all gone off to college and they were living in the dorms which had a strict no pet policy. Usagi came to visit every now and then, but lately she had either been very busy with school, her job at the university, or spending time with Mamoru. Haruka admired Usagi and Mamoru’s relationship and the love they shared. She had always been there for her kitten when Usagi needed someone to talk to. Haruka was a strong role in Usagi’s life now. They had their disagreements about many things in the past, but now the two had become great friends.

            Haruka looked down at Luna and asked how she was doing. She expected the cat to answer her. This was normal, Luna always spoke with the girls, but ever since Usagi left and there had not been an enemy to fight, Luna’s ability to communicate had dulled and she now was more catlike. Haruka patted the arm of her chair for Luna to come sit with her. Luna jumped up in Haruka’s lap and laid down for a nap. It wasn’t too much longer that Haruka herself fell asleep in her chair.

            Rei woke early the next morning, took the bus to the train station. She walked to the train that would take her to Osaka, and handed the ticket to the train worker. She sat down and pulled out one of her favorite books. When she arrived in Osaka she got on the bus Shae had told her to take and got off at the stop he told her to get off at. She was close now, and was actually growing more and more excited. She turned the corner and walked down the street that he had sent her as the street of his residence. She continued walking until she found his address. She placed her hand on the gate, took a deep breath as she opened it and walked through and up the steps to his front door. She knocked on the door and a few moments later her cousin was standing in front of her. She had to do a double take, because the figure before her looked just like Saphir from the Black Moon Family. Rei shook the thought away; there was no way her cousin was Saphir of the Black Moon Family…was there? Shae welcomed Rei with open arms and a big hug. He told her he was happy to see her and asked about her drive. He had tea out for them and invited her to sit at the table with him. She sat down and the two started chatting and getting to know each other.

            Rei asked if they had ever met before, but Shae said he didn’t think so. Rei’s spiritual senses were not giving any bad vibes though, even thought she knew the person before her was Saphir, she sensed no evil spirits. She wondered if he had been reborn like she had and had found his happiness in life. She remembered Saphir’s love for flowers, the flowers he never got to saw and glanced out the window and saw a pretty little garden with the most beautiful flowers Rei had ever seen. She knew this had to be Saphir (in some form or another). But, Rei believed in giving people second chances, and Saphir had a good heart in the end when she had been in Crystal Tokyo trying to defeat Wiseman. She and Saphir spoke more and enjoyed each other’s company as they enjoyed the beautiful day.

            Haruka woke up from a nap to her cell phone ringing. Luna had wandered off to another part of Haruka’s apartment while she was asleep. Haruka was trying to calm a rather anxious and slight angry Usagi. She was going on and on about a fight they had earlier and she was wanting Haruka’s advise on what she should do. Haruka told the blonde to come over and they could talk, she had wanted to see her kitten anyways. Seeing Usagi always made Haruka smile and looked forward to seeing Usagi and being able to advise her on relationship.
