I wanted to make some more Sailor Moon series threads and I came up with this idea. So which Sailor Senshi do you guys think would be the best mother, keeping in mind that they probably wouldn't have children for a few-to-several years after the end of Stars (especially for Hotaru). Their personalities and parenting styles may change in that time when compared to if they would have children in the late teens.

I would have to go with either Makoto or Michiru. Makoto for the fact that she's very independent, able to handle a place by herself, wonderful personality and would enjoy teaching her child life skills and having fun. Michiru for her roles in taking care of little Hotaru in the anime and manga (she was able to feed Hotaru in the anime and made comments as to how she wanted her to have a normal childhood when Hotaru was going through growth phases). I feel both of them would be loving but mature mothers.

Thoughts? I personally voted for Michiru but the vote could have easily gone to Makoto.

Mako for sure for me. Since her parents died, she's been living alone so clearly knows how to look after herself. I just get the feeling from her that she's so lonely before the Senshi and she really just wants someone to love - she just naturally seems the mothering type. She's very homely, enjoying flowers and cooking, and loves to look after people (read: Usagi =p). She's very protective of the people she loves and fiercely loyal. She's raise her kid with great morals, knowing right from wrong, but also how to stand up for themselves. She'd probably also encourage hobbies or develop talents - after all she is, herself, an accomplished figure skater and martial artist. I'm pretty sure she'd also encourage her kid to do well in school - even though she's not super smart she recognises the importance of it.

I just think she'd be a wonderful mother, she has so much love to give..! ❤

I agree with Makoto. Makoto is already mothering in many aspects towards the other sailor soldiers. I think she would really love to have a child or children to care for. She isn't easily flustered and she doesn't have a short temper. She likes to listen. She likes to protect. I think she'd take to mothering like a fish to water.

Makoto! It's always fun to have a mother who kicks chibi but mostly who can cook! ^-^

Asides from Makoto, I'd say Ami. I mean, I can see Ami being so overprotective if her kid was sick. And Ami's father ran off when she was younger, so I guess that her being the best parent possible for her kid would be on the cards. Sure, it's not as bad as Makoto had it, but growing up without a close relationship with her father wouldn't of been fun either. And with her own mother working at the hospital...

I think all of them would make great moms, except for maybe Minako, so I chose Ami because she's most like my Mom.

IMO, it should be remembered that some people are great parents to their own children, even though they don't get on well with kids in general. So there is hope for Minako-mama.

Looking at them as teenagers, I would pick Ami. She is already thinking about her future family and ready to make sacrifices for them.

I think all of them would make great parents, in their own way.  We've already seen Usagi be Chibiusa's mama and Haruaka, Michiru, and Setsuna parent Hotaru. Setsuna also kinda mothers Chibiusa aswell ^^.  I think Rei would be a more controlling mother, making sure her child had a clean room, straight A's and excelled in some talent, all the while sticking her nose in her child's business; but she would still be very loving and want the best for her baby.  Minako, well, I think she would be the super cool mom who let her kid do whatever they want (as long as she could come too).  Ami, would stress the importance of education but be super cute and loving.  Makoto, the nurturer of the bunch would naturally be a fantastic mom.
