So Kodansha just announced a worldwide release of an artbook sometime next year!

Saw this a few seconds ago! That great! I hope that means the old artbooks will come back as well! I missed a great occasion to get the first one. (the only one commercialized in france) and I wish I could complete my colelction.

Perhaps I should start saving some money if there's going to be lots of exciting announcements like this haha.

Yay! I'm really excited! I can't wait to build up an all new Sailor Moon collection, and a brand new art book by the Moonie Momma herself is bound to be an amazing addition!

Maybe we'll have concept arts from the first story idea naoko-sensei wanted for Sailor V, and Prototype Sailor Moon (She looked cool with that crown thingie)? Maybe we'll have concept arts of musical-only characters she made? (:3 if this is the case, you'll love it Miki), scrapped main plot ideas (like Diane the moon fairy, and the whole Black Dream Hole story.), drawings of some of her scrapped projects? (like PQ Angel and Love Witch) and maybe a new side story like Chibiusarecolor Moon?

I'm going to assume it's not going to be very expensive because even though it's old artwork, it will be a new. Most of the stuff that's been coming out has been cheap, because although there are a few of us who would spend a ton of money on it, the majority of people wouldn't really care about a new artbook :p I mean I'd say it's probably worth a lot in my book, but I'm hoping the prices will be cheap because, let's face it, not THAT many people are going to want it. (Because not EVERYONE is cool enough to be superfans like we all are They just don't understand our love )

It makes me very happy that so many people are caring for my precious baby, Sailor Moon, after she has crossed the sea to America. I’ve seen pictures of American fans cosplaying as Sailor Moon characters and heard that all of you are collecting lots of manga and merchandise, and it makes me happy and moves me deeply that Sailor Moon and I have received so much love, even in another country.

This is the 20th Anniversary of Sailor Moon, and there are lots of plans I’m sure you will enjoy.

First, for the Thanksgiving Day season on Nov 20, 2012 there will be a Sailor Moon box set, and also an art book will be released simultaneously worldwide in 2013. I’m sure they will both be wonderful. I know we’ll continue to come up with even more fun things in the future. Please look forward to them!

Woohoo! This will be a must-buy! I never got any of the original manga, so all I've got is the 1-6 and the two V volumes. How many of the main series are out now? I know I'm behind, just not sure how far.

There are seven volumes out at the moment with 8 coming out next month! The Neptune one!

Whaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaat! I love the artbooks so so much! I love Naoko's note, she is just so thoughtful of all of her fans! I wish we knew if it was coming out in early next year or if we will have to wait until the new anime comes out in the summer, or worse, Christmas time. So long....

I want my special Naoko new and old artwork artbook soon!!!
