To be perfectly honest, it's going to be weird hearing voices I know so well.. >.> ... I think Rei's is the only one I'm the most ok with?

This video through me a lot seeing as how some of these voices vary SO much and who knows how Viz will direct their voices.

i already said in the viz thread that a ADORE johnny and todd.

yeeeeah i gotta agree...though some of the voices Jupiter's VA did sound a bit fitting for her. but my most favorite so far are Rei's. Ami sounds like a godfreakin prep girl. Usagi i'm just...nope, not feeling it....Mina's is...okay in some certain voices.

also, Mamoru's....mostly makes me wanna grab my chest in pain. it hurts. it hurts so badly....someone kill me please...

Luna's lacks a sense of refinement..and elegance...i can forgive the no accent part, but really?

i...actually rather like Artemis's new voice a bit. he could use sounding a tiny bit more mature though...and less boy...

....please for the love of god guys, research your characters and DO THEM JUSTICE. please.

Some of their voices seemed so varied from role to role that personally it's hard for me to get a clear grip on how they'll be for each character. I'll wait to see how they sound when the episode comes out.

i have to agree, and their voice they chose to emanate the new characters may be very different, just like with crystal we have to give it a chance.

The only voice actors I agree with are Rei and Mako-chan based off their past work. Hopefully they come up with good voices for the girls!

I'm sure the new actors will do well, since they have a lot of range. And I think they'll do their homework and try to get a feel of the character, they have the internet to use after all.

I was wondering who was going to voice the new Sailor Moon.  (Thanks for sharing!)

someone put the pannle up and they were talking to the 5 girls and the guy who will play mask. All but one did not see Sailor Moon before.  and it sounds like they were watching ep. to get a fell for the character.

I thought Johnny Yong Bosh as Artemis was perfect. *^*

So I have a crush on Artemis. In yet another language.

i told my boyfriend the cast last night...he couldn't stop laughing when he realized who was voicing who, though he didn't recognize Rei or Mako's voice actor. he said he felt sorry for me and us, and i can't help but echo the opinion a little...but we both agree there is still some hope they may pull this off in a good way.

EDIT: watched the Anime Expo video...Usagi's new voice is...a little better than i hoped, but i'm still not quite feeling it. i guess maybe i need a few episodes to get used to it...

I think Kate Higgins did a really short demonstration of Mercury, and I thought it sounded very good, especially since I'm used to her voicing more hotheaded characters. The voice director's doing their job right so far. And I can definitely get used to Usagi, she sound like a somewhat toned down version of the Japanese one and that's fine with me.

I'm a little disappointed that the request for everyone to do their transformation cries was rejected by the moderator, that would have been good to hear as a test.

Jupiter and Mars are the only ones that settle well with me. I guess I could see Mercury but I t would take some getting used to. I'm not a fan of sailor moon and luna at all. Jupiter and Arty had the most fitting voice actors IMO.

I have to hear the episodes to really know if the rest will fit, but so far I'm pretty satisfied.

It's kind of hard to imagine these voice actors playing their SM characters as the clip showed them voicing other characters. A good voice actor will modify their voice for each individual character they do, so I really hope that they do that, cause right now I am NOT liking the voice actor for Ami.

Yeah, they're doing it based off personality and tone, they said it in the panel video. And she did a short sample of Ami and it sounded good.

I'm still not happy though. Honestly, I'm really going to have to listen to the dub once it's made and see the voice in sequence with the action of the character for me to be convinced that it works. I really didn't like Usagi's voice in the dub. When I went to rewatch it, I started off with the dub as that's what I grew up with but then I switched to the sub because of Usagi lol

I'm a bit concerned about Usagi's new VA.  She doesn't sound bad but her laughter I heard from a clip sounds a bit forced to me but I'll wait for the finished product before I judge.

Yea Johnny is pretty awesome I had said once before I would love to hear him in Sailor Moon though I was hoping for a character that came in sooner than Artemis I think I can handle this. But yea Have to say I think Johnny is the one I'm most excited about so yea can't wait for this honestly and I'm not a big fan of sailor moon dub (don't avtually remember the last time I watched it)

As a fan of Madoka Magica, I think the VA I'm most excited about is Cristina Vee as Sailor Mars.  She played Homura in the Madoka dub and I enjoyed her performance a lot in that dub so I'm looking forward to her playing Rei, especially since Rei is my favorite Senshi.

This dub makes me very excited. I've been following Cris Vee since she was a fandubber on VAA/Youtube and the fact that an amateur VA has come so far that she's now playing Sailor Mars makes me super excited.

I was worried about Stephanie Sheh but now that I've heard the clips of her as Usagi I'm not disappointed. Mamoru is surprisingly good as well. But, I guess I shouldn't be surprised. Naoko did approve all of the English VAs personally this time.
