What are you most excited to see? (assuming they go to Stars) What are you going to miss that the anime only had? (I will miss how the locket scene went down in the original).   

I also hope they deviate moderately, a complete rendition of the manga would be a bit dull. Not to mention quick and kinda gruesome!

What I'm anticipating the most is Saturn. I want her to be exactly like the manga, I mean, get at least some attention. In the anime, she had none (Hotaru did get some development and screentime, but Saturn...).
Another thing I'm very excited for: Rolling Heart Vibration! I looooove this attack XD Shine Snow Illusion must make into the new anime too!
Something only the anime had... The only thing I can remember right now is the background on Haruka and Michiru, which was great.

I'm fine with it being a copypaste of the manga because it's my favourite iteration of Sailor Moon, but I hope, in a way, that it will be more than that.
All my yeses for Genderfluid Haruka, Cyborg Hotaru and 3 + 5.
Toei can animate beautiful fight scenes. They showed it with Precure. I'm hoping to see the senshis fighting like shonen heroes!

I want these guys ^^ To play major roles. Naoko love these guys and I pray to God that they get more love in Crystal. It would be so cool after the fall of the Dark Kingdom that these guys would be alive and help Mamoru and the girls out if they're in a sticky spot.

I'm hoping and praying that Crystal decides to be different and the Generals get revived. I NEED IT.

Yea, they already toned down the knee scrape she got in the first episode, a few lines instead of a bit of a blood drip, but at least it was red, and not black. pretending its dirt, ha.

I definitely want to see Sailor Cosmos. And all the other Shadow Galactica members. Stars is my favorite arc of the manga. And the way Haruka and Michiru were introduced was pretty awesome too. Haruka having a cape was pretty hilarious (a second Tux??) xD

ALL the attacks, yes. None of this only one-attack-per-two-seasons nonsense.

I liked how they kind of did Usagi and Mamoru's encounter. Like I think I know you but I would remember a jerk like you. It does make a new base for their relationship.

The audience is women in general, isn't it? They won't say "eew" to a little bit of blood. I agree the manga sometimes overdid it, though. (*cought* Inners VS Metallia)
What I meant by how they animate Metallia, I wanted to say, out of the still shot we had in the opening. She's a behemot of darkness moving like a normal human. That must be hard to animate without lineart.

I was actually talking about a younger audience, not a female audience. And I wasn't referring to a bit of blood like a scrape, but the times when the manga had an over abundance of it or had graphic deaths (such as Morga's death in the manga)

Blood in manga is almost always something you have to do in great quantities if your going to go there at all. Because of the nature of black and white you have to like literally draw pools of if to get the point across. Now when you use color on it, adding the red it looks like crazy amounts of blood. So, I think finding a good in between since the anime is in color will be good. 

The really gruesome part of the manga is all the zombie/skeleton like displays of corpses... and the multiple deaths, back to back... then bringing someone back, just to kill them again...  I kinda hope they do that too, but just slightly less frequently.

My main hope is that the transformation and attack sequences this time MUST be shorter! Those old transformations and attacks were beautiful, of course, but too long. Took too much time. Now I loved the Tiara sequence in the first episode. Much more dynamic. I hope all attacks could be this way.

So, to add to the discussion, here is a great video by someone, (not me) That is a side by side of all the frames the anime used from the manga! Do not watch if you do not want to or plan to read the manga at a later date. Whoever you are you need to go read the manga right now!
