Hello, the name is Alex.

My friends and I are throwing a Sailor Moon themed party in celebration of the remake that is coming out.

Now, we are still trying to come up with idea food wise. Savory food to be precise. Seems like sweets go hand in hand with Sailor Moon. While we all love sweets, we do not want too many. I mean we need our good amount of savory foods.

So for the sweets we are making:
A Sailor Moon Cake
I believe some cookies
and Konpeito (Japanese Candy) 

Savory foods, we are trying to associate an appetizer to each sailor scout. Mars, Mercury, Venus and Jupiter.
Mars seems to be the easiest, of course something spicy (we just don't know exactly what), unfortunately everyone else draws a blank. (And for Sailor Moon we are making meatballs). We don't want to do anything too complicated, something fairly easy will be great.

If you have any decorating ideas as well, that would be great.

So please provide all the ideas you may have for me.

For Mercury you could do something cold for her waterness! Maybe potato salad or macaroni salad or something? Mars you could do maybe some spicy buffalo wings? Venus maybe try to make something with an aphrodisiac? Like oysters or something? ^^;;; That's a bit fancy, but something using an aphrodisiac type food would work well for her! Jupiter I'm not really sure ^^;;;; First thing that comes to mind is poprocks, but that's a candy xD So I dunno about that one ;-;

You could make a Spicy Buffalo chicken dip for Mars. Um... Mercury how about something with watermelon or some kind of "brain food". Venus maybe strawberries and cut them into four and out two pieces together to make a heart shape. Jupiter loves to bake and cook so a lot of things could work for her, but maybe spinach dip or something. Haha drawing a blank for Jupiter sorry.

You can make tiny little sandwiches for Mercury! That's her favorite food after all.

why not have little meatballs you can eat with a toothpick for Usagi?(meatball head!)

sushi for michiru! and possible Rei, isn't her favorite food sushi?

some kind of light as air mousse or something for Haruka?
