Thats because you had to get a via streetpass the first time. Nintendo I don't take my 3DS with me where ever I go. -_-

I haven't finished this game, I have no clue what's wrong with me. Usually I finish or at least get close to the elite 4 before I take a break but I"m not. I haven't touched the game in months!

^ Yeah, it took me about a month to beat Pokemon Y, but w/ this one I've had it for over 2 months now and I've only gotten the first two gym badges.

^Have you played the original GBA versions before? Are you stuck at any point? I could give you some pointers.

Oh, I've played the originals before (Ruby was actually my first game). Me not being very far in the game is due to a combination of laziness, investing all of my game time into contests, and being distracted by other games. lol, but thanks for the offer. ^^

I'm slow with pokemon games as well. I have never beaten Yellow, Crystal, Ruby, Emerald, Diamond, Pearl, White 2, and Y. I have beaten Silver, Soul Sliver(well I haven't beaten Red, but I consider it beaten), Black, Black 2, and X.

My problem is I get bored towards the end of the game and I restart my file.  The reason I haven't beaten White 2 and Y is because well I beaten the other versions and I only got them to have another file to mess around with. I wish gamefreak would give us a second file. My problem with AS at the moment is other games, but I will beat it!

Well, my first game was firered, followed by silver which I never beat because the cart got corrupted then emerald. It wasn't until I was 11 or 12 because that's when I got my first videogame system, the gameboy advance SP.

Oh yeah! I have never beaten Firered.

So last night a super kind soul gave me a Hooh in a wonder trade. It's at level 10 and has its hidden ability. It's legit too! This person captured it from the Dream Radar game. It allows you to capture some legendaries with their hidden abilities. The level is based on the badges you have. I'm going to train this guy up! ^^

Nature resetting is such a pain... T_T

I just need one more badge. *sighs* I really don't want it to end. I'm having so much fun with these remakes. They are so much better than SS and HG.

While I still treasure HG because I'm a total Johto child, I do agree that gameplay and addition wise, ORAS where even better. I hope they'll also remake Red/Blue and Gold/Silver a second time to add them to the new mega timeline and then include all the cool new features. And hopefully seasons and character customization will return as a feature as well. I missed that in ORAS. (And already missed the seasons in X and Y. Deerling was just so much less fun without them...)

Even though I started with Yellow, I am totally a Johto kid! When I got Silver, I actually took the time to learn how to play and invested many hours into it. Gen 2 is my favorite generation. 

I really wish they would bring back seasons and let your pokemon follow you! Why did that they take that away in gen 5? I really loved that feature. My Poilwhril was so cute, when he followed me which is why I didn't let evolve. XD

I'm hoping to get Sinnoh remakes next. I loved Diamond, Pearl and Platinum, but their engine was sooooo slow. It'd be nice to get remakes and have them be faster and in the new style. And maybe also bring back some old features, like seasons. ^^

Yeah. The fairy trio are especially hard to catch in the original DPP games.

Lucky for me one of them had a bad move set. My dark Pokémon was untouched. XD

Same here. I just didn't enjoy DPP as much as the rest, but that doesn't mean I wouldn't wanna play it again in an improved version.

I love every Pokemon game. I just prefer some over others. 

The one that stuck with me the least was black and white. Not saying I didn't enjoy it, but it just didn't flow as well as the others, in my opinion. Then again, I never played black2 or white2 so that may be where everyone says it gets good. I liked diamond and pearl. I think diamond and pearl gets so much hate because it came after the mindblowing game that was ruby/sapphire/emerald.

Actually a lot people didn't like RSE. I think the main reason for the hate of DPP is that it has a slow engine. Battles move slower out any of the other games. I think the region itself is the other reason. It's pain to trek through until you get Fly. I did hear from other fans that Platinum was better then Diamond and Pearl.

Really? Too bad I didn't hear about platinum being better earlier; the carts have got to be going for 50-100$ by now because "free market plox" and all that other annoying jazz with long running and famous franchises. 

But I guess that's what emulators are for.

I doubt gen 4 runs high seeing how it's not as popular. On the other hand SSHG are 50 dollars at Gamestop. Those two games are still in demand.

I just got Omega Ruby, but I'll have to wait until Friday for my 3DS.

MAJOR UPDATE 3/25: Got my 3DS, Left shoulder button keep acting pressed, no big deal. Defective in this manner, I won't let that hinder my Pokemon Journey!
