Civilian Ami!! Soo cutee!! <3 The baggy shirt just completes her look. But, I'd say that Sailor Mars is the best looking sailor out of them all so far. They're all actually really nice but, their necks seem too long. o.O But that's just the style though. I'd say that the only senshi form I don't really like is Moon's. All their civilian forms are nice. Maybe it's just Moon's pose that's putting me off?

Those designs grew on me after a while....

When the art was first revealed on the live event, my first reaction was "uhh...no... fan art" but the ones up on the website are slightly better. Maybe it'll look even better when we see them animated. There's something off with some of them and they all still look like strangers instead of the girls we know, but it's new so I'm trying not to judge too harshly.

i'm kinda half and half...XD i liked the first art we saw of Sailor Moon...loved it! but this? on the one hand, it feels like good 90's anime style and that i should like it...but it just feels...weird! the website images make me feel better though....

i wanna like it, but i'm not quite feeling it yet!...so final judgement when an animation comes out. i'd like to see a trailer video of the girls animated and introducing themselves. simple, no spoilers, it gives us a feel for the animation and let's us hear the voices!

Mmkay, so I prefer the art on the site. The close ups of the faces aren't bad, although I also dislike that Minako's hair changes. But the full size pictures still seem really 'off' to me. Especially Rei and Minako. I don't know, I'm still a long way from being sold on this. They just don't look like our girls any more. I mean, I knew that was gonna happen but it's still strange. ._.

I like all the new designs so far, but I agree that Ami got the best reboot design. Mako came in second though.

I think it'll look better in motion though.

And its been a good 20 years before these characters have been redesigned, so I understand why you don't like them as much as the old ones. They looked weird to me at first too because of being so accustomed to their original looks since I was like 2. XD

Their faces look so pointy! o.o;;; It kind of bothers me. I'm sad that only Venus and Moon get their manga fukus.   

Overall the art does look nice and I do like it.

Also! all the girls have like their personality showing in their close up faces and Rei's is kind of... Just serious. So I'm assuming she won't be fiery like the anime. It really does seem truer to the manga like we thought.

Don't forget that Mercury has her manga design as well. Her customization was no sleeves, which she has.

OH I didn't notice Mercury had any special design to her fuku. That makes me mad! Mars and Jupiter dont get theirs!? That's not cool!

I actually really like the new designs. Especially Mercury. Although I do wish that Jupiter and Mars would have their manga designs (but maybe Jupiter's belt and Mars' jewel thing will show up in the new anime itself?) Anyway, I'm excited to see the actual animation! c:

And is it true that the release date for the new anime is July 5? I've seen that around but I'm not sure if it's true.

Rei's character profile says "A cool beauty with long black hair. She helps out at the Hikawa Shrine with a strong, cool attitude."

They said "cool" twice, so yeah, it's the manga personality xD

I think Jupiter's belt might be too much work to draw in every frame. Mars' jewel should not have been a hassle tho.

Edit: Yes it premieres July 5th at 7 pm Japan time. Airs every first and third Saturday (so twice a month)

Well now that I've slept on it, I feel better about them but I'm still not 100% sold on them. One thing I DO like is how they look young. When the first promo pic came out I was worried that they were going to look like they were 20-something and not 14.

I'm sure I'll warm up to it. I always dislike what I end up loving at first (Don't ask I'm weird)

I'm down with manga personalities (Reinako???) But I'm worried that Venus won't be judging on her pics. But only time will tell.

Ok, checked the website and the art DOES look better. obviously, Ami is the prettiest one, even tho is supposed to be Rei -_-". is kind of growing in me (thank god because i still hate the logo), but then again, i'm still dissapointed with all of this, i was hoping something more awesome, but, oh well, i guess it would look better in the animation (i hope so too >_>)

BTW, to me Mako's hair HAVE ALWAYS been light brown, not ginger :/ it still look light brown to me xD
The only thing that makes me happy is that EVERYTHING is according the manga  

yeah, on the old anime, her hair is brown, no discussions there, but in almost all manga colorings, her hair is a mix of red/copper/really light brown, which consists as being a redhead.

since there is going to be a La Reconquista DVD do you think they will do a CD for clearer song versions?

Excited to see who they choose for Pluto, Black Lady and Chibiusa.....and hoping to see Black Moon Clan soon.

That's a really good question. I hope they release a CD.

I.. I don't know how to feel about the art. The are on the site is A LOT prettier than those posters they released but.. idk. I'm torn.

So the site it's being streamed on. I forget the name. Does it let you watch the episode throughout the day? Because there is no way I am getting up at 6 am to watch it.

I am beyond pumped to see how Pluto and Chibi-Usa are going to look in the musical.

I'm glad I'm the only one who doesn't like the designs either, I thought they were awful at first glance. I got bashed on SMF, just for giving a left-field critical opinion.

The individual profiles makes me like the art 387293847 times better... was NOT a fan when I first saw it but they're definitely growing on me. I feel like when it's animated it will look awesome

I think the new art looks a lot like the art that's been on the covers of the new releases of the manga. ALSO I'M SO EXCITED!!
