The Brazilian Portuguese is a set of dialects of the Portuguese language used mostly in Brazil. It is spoken by virtually all of the 200 million inhabitants of Brazil.
It is also one of the hardest languages you can learn, whereas not even Brazilians speak it 100% correctly.
When forming a sentence, we use the structure Subject + Verb + Object, however the adjectives are formed differently. For instance, "white rose" would be written "rosa branca" ("rose white") and we have to flex the verbs in all subjects. We also don't have equivalents for "do/does" or the whole Present Perfect Tense.
I'm gonna show you the difference when flexing the verb "eat" in both English and Portuguese now.
I eat You eat He eats She eats It eats We eat You eat They eat | Eu como Tu comes Ele come Nós comemos Vós comeis Eles comem. |
