Having a Writing Buddy or being part of the Apprenticeship Program means that there's always going to be someone pestering you to keep writing!! 



What's the difference between the Apprenticeship Program and the Writing Buddy Program?

• The Apprenticeship Program is geared to help you gain a skill - character creation, plotline organization, histories, writing style, world building, grammar, roleplaying, etc. - either all together, or separately (skills a la carte!). You'll be working with a certified Mentor in that area that will work one-on-one with you to help get you going, and will guide you through or just keep checking in on you, depending on your level of want/need. The Apprenticeship Program is like having an adorable little writing how-to-guide in the form of a person that you can talk to all the time.
  
• The Buddy Program is more like a "Hey, read this!" "'K, but you read this! =p" system, where it's mutual help and support between writers/roleplayers who generally have their style and know what they're doing, but can get stuck sometimes, too! The Buddy Program is like a second pair of eyes for your work.

I would expect my buddy to proof-read my academic writing (i.e. does this make sense from your perspective, especially because you aren't an archaeologist?) and encourage me to pay attention to my work (spending fifteen minutes a day writing and/or role-playing).
And, in return, for my buddy I will be available as a beta-reader and a support/motivation system.

I'd totally love a motivator/buddy as soon as possible, because... yeah... the rough draft of my Master's thesis is due in May. Help, please?

There's going to be a new RP apprenticeship program being launched sometime this week! So be sure to look out for that thread if you want to sign up. Once I have that up and working, having it advertised could be helpful Artemis!
