| Alright it's been a while sine we had one of these so we're gonna give them another try! When signing up please include you goal word count for the month. What counts? Well a bunch! -poems -role play posts -one shots -anything counts! So get out there and get writing And for those of you who want an extra challenge you may opt to take part in the ad ended challenge where it only counts if you work on one piece. To keep track of your words, everyone in the challenge is recommended to update their word count on a daily basis in the thread using a Nanowrimo word count tracker. This challenge will go from April 3rd to May 3rd. | Oooh! I wanna join! ..... :bunnypokerface but what should my goal be? ... With school stuff, club stuff, FFXIV and other random non-writey things, I think for this month I'll go on the low estimate, 100 words a day (that's pitiful! ... so if I fail I should go to a dog house of some sort) I, Sailor Uranus, challenge myself to write at least 3000 narrative words within the month of April. 1704 / 3000 words. 57% done! XD I'm specifying 'narrative' so I can't count news-y or newslettery writing, or organizational writing, etc. o_o

| I want to join too, but I am uncertain what to make my goal to be xD Usually with these types of challenges, I like to pick one project and only count the words I've made towards that project, but I don't think I have enough time to plan out something this time. *ponders* I am thinking that I will shoot for 10,000 words this month. | You challenge yourself to write a certain amount of words during the month of April. Each day (or each time you remember, I suppose) you use a word tracker to show how much you've accomplished.
You aren't required to post what you wrote at the end. I don't plan on it, because it would be random, un-connected paragraphs from my Master's thesis and unrelated role-playing posts from a variety of role-plays.

It's a rough month for me as far as writing goes, so I'm going to cross my fingers and do this: For a Destiel fanfic that I'm planning on finishing: (3,000) 500 / 3000 words. 17% done! And for all other anything that I'm working on, but mostly a webcomic script: (1,500) 0 / 1500 words. 0% done! |
