Rei closed her eyes briefly. It wasn't safe, with the tribute standing right there, but she knew this was it. She couldn't believe it was coming down to this ridiculous game. Oh, how she wished she could just attack the Tribute right now while she was unsuspecting, but she guessed the Gamemakers would not allow that since she was being forced to take part in this pathetic 'game'.

She opened her eyes, and repeated, "Paper."

Rei was so mad. That her Hunger Games career could end with this stupid game was unthinkable. If she won this round then this annoyingly charming Tribute would be dead - Rei swore it to herself. This was so humiliating!

You'd roll for stab, if you won, you'd stab her and the game would be over.

If you lost, you might be able to try to get away, if she didn't attack first, or a simultaneous attack occurred.

Rei was so mad at this Tribute. Common sense was telling her to just run but Rei hated to do that. The other Tribute was probably still surprised she had lost the tense Rock Paper Scissors game, so it was now or never. Rei stabbed her spear at Venus' Tribute, aiming for the throat. Before she could check if her strike had hit, Rei ran toward the trees again, aiming to climb up one as soon as she could.

SenshiRei runs away!

Rei darted through the trees, escaping from the battle. She needed to find a place to rest up. She glanced behind her, couldn't see the Tribute and scrambled up a tree, hiding within it's foliage. She peered through the branches to make sure she was safe, for now.

 I'm sorry I didn't post this before your post went through!! Gah, this is tricky; I rolled for the attack and when it was a tie I wrote that you got your attack in and ran, but Tiana replied with the quoted so I rolled a six sided to see if you got away from her attempts to catch you and the results are posted.   

If you'd like I can revisit and reroll, considering that your post got in before my mod post did; official petitions such as these are totally okay here. ^^

I'll reroll the running scene, since you had said that you ran away right after you tried to hit and she replied with immediately giving chase, there was confusion stemming from me with the 'SenshiRei ran away!" line; I should have specified whether you got out of range before Tiana could notice, as she read it as you turned and ran right then, while you read it as you successfully got the heck out of there. XD

I'll take it back to both of you being successfully hit by the other person. Please respond to being struck, and then take off again.

I'll split them. If she decides to try to catch you again, it'll be a roll for run/catch, and then I'll let you guys respond.

As last time she 'caught' with an 'attack', ((I was picturing her running after you, sword first, so her sword caught you rather than she, thus the point)) I'll keep the two completely separate.

Rei stumbled back from being hit, but felt resistance from her spear coming loose and so knew she must have got a hit in too. Dammit, why wouldn't this Tribute just die already?! Rei grit her teeth, spun and began to run as fast as she could toward the trees, ignoring the tears streaming from her eyes.

YAY! I was so sad when I read you were out =[ Then I kept reading and YAY!!! Go Rei!! ^^ You can still do it =] You're doing amazingly so far!

SenshiRei has evaded Tiana's grasp and has taken off for the cover of trees!

Rei darted through the trees, escaping from the battle. She needed to find a place to rest up. She glanced behind her, couldn't see the Tribute, and scrambled up a tree, hiding within it's foliage. She peered through the branches to make sure she was safe, for now, and to watch where the other Tribute would go. After all, Rei had struck her, so she was injured too.

Once she was sure she was safe, Rei would rehydrate and take a quick nap. But for now, she remained alert.

Rei awoke with a start. She couldn't believe she'd fallen asleep, but it had been an exhausting day. Was it still day now? Or night? She couldn't be sure. The Gamemakers could adjust the atmosphere in whatever way they liked, she knew that and so didn't trust anything in this arena.

At least she was still safe, for now. She drank half of her water and another few pieces of beef jerky; her supplies were low. Today's plan was to avoid the other two Tributes and stock up on water, food, and weapons. She hastily made a lasso out of her rope and sharpened her spear with one of the rocks she had in her bag so she was as prepared as she could be. She checked her injuries; not ideal but not life threatening.

Before she climbed down from the tree she used her tracking skills to check around her - whee were the nearest food and water supplies, and could she sense any Tributes nearby?

Unfortunately, while SenshiRei did escape Tiana's reaching grasp, the two of you were too physically close to make a break away so neatly; I wish to remain impartial and give both tributes a fair chance, and if you were fighting someone else and they took off, your character would take chase immediately, as Tiana's character chose to do, and visual contact would not be lost between chaser and chased. 

I rolled, and even in her current energy levels (your energy is currently 7) SenshiRei was able to get up into a tree, but Tiana was not lost in the chase and has spotted you in your tree. The post immediately before this one therefore has not taken place, and while you made it up the tree, you see Tiana following right on your heels.

=ooo go Rei! You can do this!!!! Just trust your instincts!!!! I really don't know if it's better to run or fight at this point xD so I'm not much help! Whatever you decide, me and I'm sure the whole team is backing you up!

Rei was tired. Her time in the Hunger Games had been action packed, that was sure. She was proud of how far she'd come, and she was sure her 'luck' wasn't going to last forever, but she'd be damned if she was giving up now. 

She could see ((ooc - I'm assuming??)) the other Tribute at the bottom of the tree and she would bet a lot that the Tribute knew she was up there. Trying to hide her actions in the foliage of the tree, Rei tied the rope round one of the heavy rocks she'd collected. They'd been weighing her down, but she hoped they'd have a use.

Now was not the time for subtlety. She held on tightly to the end of the rope and looped the rest of it loosely around her arm, finishing by supporting the rock in both hands. She took note of where the Tribute was and threw the rock as hard as she could toward her head, hoping the speed and weight of the rock would take the Tribute by surprise before she could move out the way. She kept a tight hold of the other end of the rope in her hand, in case she needed to pull it back up and try again.
