Go Rei!! WOOOO!!!          

Rei staggered back from the hit. She would not allow herself to be beaten by this Tribute! He seemed to sense her attack the last time; this time she hoped to fool him. She raised her spear with both hands and ran toward him, aiming straight for his chest. At the last second, she stepped to the side and swung the spear round in a baseball bat motion, hoping to hit the side of his head with enough force to knock him out, or at least to the ground.

Rei dropped and rolled to the ground. She stopped behind the other Tribute, raised her spear one more time with both hands, and plunged it down. By this point, they were both tiring and both injured; this fight couldn't last much longer and Rei had to make sure she was the victor.

The battle is won. SenshiRei has defeated Blake!

SenshiRei was easily able to dodge Blake's next attack, his initial injury easily overcoming his level of concentration. With his head spinning, he could not keep his balance enough to turn and defend himself against his opponent, and she and solidly delivered a blow to his body, knocking him to the ground!

At that moment a helicopter appeared overhead, suddenly and without warning, and a giant claw emerged, shot down, and UFO-dolled Blake out of the Arena. As it turned to leave, a small parachute dropped down, a gift from a sponsor, and landed in front of SenshiRei.


The gift contains: a used red lighter with barely any fluid in it (indicated by dotted line).

Rei sank to the ground, partly in exhaustion, partly in shock and partly in relief. She knew it wouldn't be easy, but she was shocked by how close it had gotten. She'd been hit. She hoped the injuries weren't too bad. She reached into her bag, pulled out the water, and drank half of it. She wanted it all, but she hadn't tested the water in the river and it might be salty. She really wanted to eat some food as well but she'd already eaten her jerky and couldn't risk more. She may have taken out a Tribute, but she hadn't managed to collect much.

She rose shakily to her feet, shook her head and steeled herself. She was strong. Her team were behind her. She blinked and looked down at her feet as a red glint caught her eye. That's right; a parachute had came down. She lifted up the lighter, examined it with a small frown and put it in her bag. She smiled up at the sky and, she assumed, the cameras. She mouthed a 'thank you' to any sponsors.

She collected the pliers she'd thrown earlier; she might need them after all. Had the fallen Tribute left anything behind she could take? She had a look and retrieved anything she could and walked to the river where she sank down cross legged and retrieved her 'fishing rod'. She sat it beside her, reached into the water and scooped up some on her hands, raising it to her mouth and sipping it to check it was safe.

She needed a weapon, but at least while she was hopefully safe for now, she could collect water and fish. Then she'd set out for her next target.

Your logic skill gives you an advantage in various puzzles strewn throughout the boards. ^^ And you can totally track tributes. For example....

Being by the river, the canopy above you is rather clear; glancing south, you see smoke from a small fire...

You also hear faint sounds coming from the West, behind you...

Rei quickly finished the bottle of water she had found in her bag, refilled it from the river and drank it as well. She then refilled the bottle once more to store and stuck it in her bag.

She closed her eyes briefly. She saw smoke to the south; clearly a fire thus clearly a tribute. And... Was that a noise to the west..? Rei's hear began to beat fast. She'd just came out a fight, she only had a spear, she knew the other Tributes would have been spending time getting supplies whilst she was fighting. She wasn't sure if it was wise to engage in combat just now. It made her mad though, she hated to run. She flipped open her communicator to see if her team had anything to say, but otherwise she was going to have to try and find a weapon. She was now at a disadvantage, although she had the combat experience and the adrenaline buzz of a win.

The forest to the west erupted in sound as someone came crashing through!

Tiana rolls a 7; she achieves a surprise attack!

With the element of surprise with her, Tiana comes crashing through the underbrush, a medium-length sword brandished and at the ready!

Eeeep! You are still injured! If you attempt to attack her there's a good chance you might die =[ I'm not sure if there's a way to escape but it might be a good time to retreat and hunt her down again later once rested. She only has a sword so she won't be able to hit you if you run. Just my opinions ^^ if you think you can take her go ahead! And as for the fire I'd assume its Small Lady, you can always head in that direction once healed but if you're dead you can't so that =P so most inportant thing is staying alive right now!

Rei stumbled back, surprised by the attack. She grabbed her spear and thrust it at the Tribute before spinning and running as fast as she could through the undergrowth to the west. She was unsure if she had hit the other Tribute but she knew she just needed to get out of there. To stand and fight against a sword would be foolish. She needed to locate a weapon of her own and then she could get that girl back!

You escape!

Rei couldn't hear the other Tribute following her, but she needed to keep moving just in case. Damn it, she should have known not to get cocky after taking out that first Tribute. She crossed into the zone to the west, and began exploring it. She needed a weapon, and fast. That boy Tribute had had a spear, so chances were the other two had one as well. And that one that had just attacked her had a sword... where did she get that?? Rei looked around to see what was in this new zone (A3, I think?).

As you look around A3, you see nothing out of the ordinary, at first. Just your typical trees in a forest setting. Until you spy a clearing up ahead...

A clearing..? Open ground could be dangerous, no where to hide. She'd be an open target. She shook her head briskly. Now was not the time to be cautious; she was at a disadvantage with only a spear and besides, wasn't this the area that Tribute had just came from (she was never very good at directions)? She needed to investigate. She headed toward the clearing quietly, darting her eyes backward and forward and trying to listen out for anything out of the ordinary.

You reach the clearing and find it's a giant, life-sized Chess board... complete with life-sized pieces.

Yeah because that's normal to find in the forest xD Just be cautious and you'll do fine! Yay Rei! \o/ Doing so well so far =]

You hear movement behind you! Tiana is giving chase!

Rei heard the approaching Tribute and ran through the clearing to the trees. She grabbed three heavy rocks and stuffed them in her bag before quickly climbing up the nearest tree. She made it to a low branch and stayed as still as she could. Hopefully the Tribute hadn't spotted her climbing, she should be fairly camouflaged in the leaves if the Tribute hadn't seen her climb. Rei tried hard to control her panicked breathing and waited to see what would happen.

Rei was very reluctant to give up her position in the tree, especially since the Tribute hadn't spotted her. She grit her teeth and climbed back down the tree as quietly as possible, she didn't know why she felt compelled to play this annoying Tribute's games.

"Fine," she spoke clearly and walked toward the Tribute, spear at the ready just in case. "I accept your challenge."

She wondered if her logic skill would help with a game like this..?
