Surprised by the tribute's attack Tiana took a nasty hit to the arm.  The other tribute then began to run away again.  No! I need to end this!  Before the tribute could get out of reach Tiana tried to get another attack in.

I'll reroll the running scene. SenshiRei had said that she ran away right after she attempted to hit and Tiana replied with immediately giving chase, there was confusion stemming from me with the 'SenshiRei ran away!" line; I should have specified whether she got out of range before Tiana could notice, as participants took two separate meanings away from the sentence: to one, SenshiRei was in the process of running away, to the other, SenshiRei got away.

I'll take it back to both of you being successfully hit by the other person.   Please respond to being struck, and then we'll see if SenshiRei takes off again.

SenshiRei has evaded Tiana's grasp and has taken off for the cover of trees!

Somehow Tiana missed the tribute and she managed to climb up a tree.  Tiana followed her to the base of the tree.  Her face twisted into confusion as she tried to figure out how to get the other tribute.  Her face lit up as she looked down at her wrist.  Tiana quickly surveyed the ground and found a stick of ample size.  She then untied the arrowhead on her wrist and tied it to the stick.  Tiana then backed up until she could get a good angle and threw the hand made spear at the tribute in the tree.

Now was not the time for subtlety. She held on tightly to the end of the rope and looped the rest of it loosely around her arm, finishing by supporting the rock in both hands. She kept a tight hold of the other end of the rope in her hand, in case she needed to pull it back up and try again.

For the timing of these events, we'll say that the spear left Tiana's hand as Rei's swinging rope of rocky doom fell to smack Tiana's head.

Note: in future games run on the three-strike rule, we'll be initiating hit points. o_o

Tiana saw the other tribute throw the rocks at her just as the spear left her hand.  She felt a sick thud as the rocks hit her on the head and for a moment she felt the world spin.  However the growl in her stomach brought her back around.  She knew she didn't much energy left so she decided to try one more thing.  Tiana looked on the ground near her feet and immediately found a rock the size of her hand.  She picked it up and made sure it was solid before rearing back and throwing the rock at the other tribute.  Containing all of her frustration at this battle Tiana threw the rock with all her might.

After Tiana threw the rock she saw a barrage of spears and a rock. She dodged the rock and one of the spears but couldn't get out of the way of the second spear. It hit leaving another bruise. Then Tiana looked around and saw the weapons now at her disposal. She picked up one of the spears and reared back ready to throw it.  Just as she started to push her weight forward a bag fell from the tree and landed at her feet.  Unsure of what this meant Tiana kept the spear at the ready and glanced up at the tribute.  She looked so peaceful leaning back against the tree trunk.   Tiana felt herself lower the spear.  The other tributes face said it all.  She was done; with this fight and with the game.  With the tribute out of the way there would just be... the Jupiter tribute.  Maybe she didn't want her to win more than she hated losing against me.  One more attack and they would both be out.  the other tribute would win by default without ever fighting.  Tiana closed her eyes and readied the spear.  She knew that things had to end but she didn't want to anymore.  Tiana reared back and threw the spear, the thought she won't die on repeat in her mind.

Tiana's heart jumped into her throat when a sickening thud pierced the air.  The spear had found its target.  All of the possibilities of what to do next whirled around in Tiana's head strengthening the dizziness she felt from her lack of energy.  She had to get away, had to leave the area.  Tiana grabbed the bag that the tribute had thrown at her not caring to look inside and moved as far east from the tree as she could before collapsing at the base of a massive tree trunk.  She then fell into an uneasy sleep.

It was hard enough to not start laughing. She could win this, just by sneaking up and killing her in her sleep. Immediately she felt guilt for thinking in that sort of manner, but, as she began to justify herself, maybe it would be better this way, to end her in her sleep, than have to brutally fight her. Gritting her teething and having made her decision, Small Lady carefully aimed at the girl. Holding her breath for a moment, this was it. And she thrust her spear with all her arm's strength.

Having slept for just a few minutes in game, Tiana has regained 1 energy point, giving her a total of 3 energy points. Her fighting rolls are negatively affected. Tiana wakes up!

Tiana awoke to pain in her side, before she had time to think her instincts threw her to the side but it was already too late... Tiana felt the object thump against her and in that moment she knew it was over. As Tiana lost conscious her body relaxed with the realization that it was finally over.
