Olympic Senshi Ring creator Contest - by Sailor Saturn


Please Discuss these ideas or others. Lets try not to make it too much so that way people don't get overwhelmed. We should possibly think about getting the Pre-Olympic Events going in maybe 1-2 weeks? (I'll double check that with mars tho).

lmao. i never thought that crazy idea button of mines was going to get chosen..
instead of doing something typical like a forum signature. i think it be cool to try to have people make  200 by 75 px buttons or 100px by 100px bumpers for team spirit.
or if any of those gunna work... there's always the typical team spirit signature with the name of their team having to be on their banner. sorta something like one of the last themes used for the lsms in the graphic guild (the details for that are still wip)

Also we could also include bigger sized images (like forum posters to post in threads support teams). Or like those triangle shaped flag things you have for colleges.

hmmmmm. maybe it can be sort of like a pre-olympics event... and use the banners for each team as adverts for the tumblr.

Thats why i put this idea in the pre-olympics planning thread. xD Ah! and great idea too!

sweet! i'm doing for doing a sorta tumblr edit sized canvas. would 500px by 700px be too big to use it for the contest?

Hm, i think we don't want too much going on. So either we do a tumblr sized banner/poster contest or a flag/button contest.

i really like the idea of a flag/button contest. it's simple, and you can pop it in your sig without editing it

Ok, from what I understand, we're gunna have four teams. So its probably best to not make it super huge.  Perhaps poster contest and the little flags/buttons for people to post in threads (like some premade stuff). We can get a bumper made for each team so if you aren't playing but want to support or whatever.

hopefully the posters will be tumblr edit sized like i mentioned above: 500 by 700px  it's not too big but it's not too small either.

and hopefully some will use pink and pinkify the tumblr. woot woot. ;D

you'd think it'd be possible to have 4 winners. one for each team if we get enough entries.

When Mars comes back from being away this weekend I will pester her about dates and official team names and what not.

So Mars said the date in her original planning thread (and i didn't see it oops.)

as soon as we get team names i can get my event going! :3

y'know, i was thinking it'd be pretty cool to change the forum header for the event. not that i have the artistic talent to do so, or even know if that's a possible thing. or even if that's been mentioned already??? i'm sorry, i'll go away now .___.

That would be really nice! I can see if NQS would be ok with that and see if Mercury would have time to whip up something, but I can't guarantee anything. ^^;

my contest is sort of an artist contest as well lol

but they have to come up with a team uniform, and they can do it in groups (like one creates the t-shirt and someone from the same team creates the shorts). =D
