Is anyone else considering buying/have bought these gorgeous things? I wasn't going to, but they're so pretty   I literally want them just because they're so beautiful. [/shallowmoment] I don't even care that I can't read them.

Of course, there is the possibility that they will translate these into English too, but I think last time it took almost ten years  :bunnypokerface

Does anyone have a larger version of covers 5 and 6? (mostly because Michiru's face looks odd...)

There's no larger version yet since the covers were just officially revealed today and the books themselves aren't out yet. They'll probably show up in stores within a day or two and someone will get a better picture.

I was planning on buying the older Japanese editions before these came out. Thankfully I was patient enough and waited long enough for these to come out. I agree with you Mercury they're gorgeous! Hopefully we don't have to wait for 10 years for these to come out. Besides waiting for 10 years I'm sure that the translations will be a bit of a problem. I was expecting for these editions to be perfect but if you pay attention to the back covers the 2nd volume is the only volume that doesn't have the senshi pictured in the front cover on the back as well. Sailor Moon has Sailor Moon on the back while Mars, Jupiter, Venus, Neptune and Uranus are all pictured on the back as well.

I'll take a picture of the front cover of the Neptune/Uranus cover once I charge my camera's battery.

I'm gonna start buying them later on.

I want to get them as well, but I'm unsure if I should get them now or wait it out and see if Kodansha USA will be releasing them stateside. Considering the SM rerelease did fairly well as a bit of a debut for the Kodansha USA branch, I'm hopeful they will do it, but there hasn't been anything that suggests it.

I might just have to buy them in Japanese cause i have always wanted to own the Japanese version of the manga at some point (I really want the original print tho).

Jlist and cdjapan have the first volume back in stock! Cdjapan has them cheaper and i believe with shipping its still a bit cheaper than Jlist. ^_^

So I finally caved and bought these (especially when there's a rumor there might just be 10,000 of this produced). And wow, I feel like I'm getting more than my money's worth? At 1500 yen (around $15), this book is huge (not Artbook-huge, but pretty big). It's bigger and heavier than I thought. And the art is so clean and pretty and so many colorful pages *_* The cover is very thick too and prismatic although you can't immediately see it. And of course all the new artwork is gorgeous. Yeah, I can't read it, but I like to think someday I'd learn Japanese. Also I've wanted a piece of the original manga and this perfect edition seems like... well, the perfect choice.

So pretty.

Idk if anyone else has noticed but I love how they all have their respective planets (and moon) behind them in the sky xD I just think thats so cool ^^

Yes! I was surprised at their price. So good to hear they are more than worth the price. I am highly considering buying them...even though i shouldn't be spending money. xD

I wish I knew if there was going to be an english language release or not, cause if not, i'll just buy the japanese. WHY DO I HAVE TO BE HAVING TO MOVE SOON AND NEED TO SAVE MONEY FOR A HOUSE. *cries*
