Plot Summary:  Akane Karasuma and Reiko Aya are best buddies and roommates. Akane is a full fledged CEO for a popular clothing marketer and Reiko while she is an adorable and kind girl circulates from job to job. Reiko is set on setting up her long time friend with a man, and Akane is having none of that. She feels she doesn’t need a man and she works hard to find another job for Reiko hoping her friend can keep it. The two care for each other deeply but also annoy each other to no end.
Details on any necessary information:   The story takes place after Sailor Moon battles Sailor Lead Crow and Sailor Aluminum Siren, rather than the two being slayed by Galaxia, Sailor Moon uses her powers to heal them, giving them a second chance at life. (Kind of like the spectre sisters in classic anime)

Akane walked out of her meeting, it had been a very important meeting with a fellow CEO. Akane had hoped Takashi would accept the offer to merge the businesses and it worked out. Galaxy Clothing was merging with Lunar fashions to create a powerhouse business that put its pride in making quality clothing that many people would want to wear and many people could afford. That was what was important to Akane, selling her product, but that product had to be of the best quality before it would ever see the light of a clothing store.

Akane felt proud as she left work and made her way home. She was so excited to share the news with Reiko and hoped that Reiko had had a productive day as well.

Reiko had been fired from yet another job. It honestly didn't even surprise her at this point. She didn't come in on time, and while she was very polite she had made a lot of blunders due to her clumsiness. At the end of the workday, the manager simply shook their head and informed her that they were letting her go.

She arrived home early, sitting down at the kitchen table and burying her face into her hands. How was she gonna break the news to Akane when she came home? Her friend would probably be furious at her. The thought of Akane being angry caused a nervous knot to form in Reiko's stomach, and she began to pace back and forth through the kitchen. She picked up a few plain slices of bread off of the counter and began to cram them into her mouth, but they did little to calm her nerves. She sat back down at the table, nervously waiting for her roommate to come home and explode.

Akane drove home, maybe a little too fast, getting angry at the little things, but she just wanted to get home so she could share the news with her friend. She parked her car and grabbed her things, running up to her apartment. She burst through the door. 

"Reiko-chan, are you home?" Akane called out in a chipper tone. She walked through the apartment until she found her friend in the kitchen. She wrapped an arm around her shoulder, as she spoke,

"Reiko-chan guess what, I have such great news to tell you, that other CEO signed with me and we are merging together for the new clothing line, lets go out and celebrate my treat." She said as she turned to walk out of the kitchen.

When Reiko didn't follow right away, Akane turned and noticed her friends downward emotion. "Hey are you okay Reiko-chan, did you have a bad day at work?" She asked hoping everything was okay with her friend.

Reiko could feel her body tense up as Akane walked into the house and seemed worry over her. She swallowed hard, nervously rubbing the back of her head. Reiko tried to look the other woman in the eyes, but couldn't. She focused her gaze right past her at the door behind her. She cleared her throat and felt her fingers starting to tug anxiously at her blue locks. "Um, Akane... About my job..." She fumbled out very slowly, stuttering and trying not to cry. "I may have... lost it?" She clamped her eyes shut immediately, anticipating Akane's reaction.

Akane knew where this was going, she was accustomed to it now, but she decided to hold back as she simply slumped into the chair across from her friend. She simply said, "well maybe the next job will be a better fit..." She really hoped Reiko would be able to find a job that was a good fit for her, something that she would enjoy doing, maybe then she would be able to keep her job.

To help try and keep the mood positive, Akane quickly changed subjects, "so you want to go out for ice cream or something, I think some fresh air can do us both some good." 

The two lived near an ice cream parlor, it was only a short walk from the apartment where they lived.
