As the senshi alighted upon the concrete sidewalk of the busy New York City streets, she took a deep breath, a smile playing at her lips as she beheld the marvels of the planet Earth. Metropolitan, vertical structures, primarily rock-mix and metallic compounds, some glass. The temperature was low, and as their single star had already sunk below the horizon, it would only get colder. Would it snow? She didn't glance up, but rather looked around, people watching for clues and ques, but it seemed as though all were walking quickly towards their destination, holding their attire close or holding hands. Music whispered through the air, and while typically metropolitan places felt a little confining or socially cold, the aura was one of warmth and happiness. This holy day must effect much of the population then.

Before the first flake could fall, Sailor Methuselah turned her gaze back to the address she had been given on her invitation and, unperturbed by the dilapidated appearance of the structure, she strode forward, opened the door, and walked right in to a festive party, the smell of something minty and sweet hitting her immediately. Her sweet tooth egging her on, she decided the best place to begin had to be the snack table.

Once there, she plucked a strange rod-shaped white-and-red striped candy out of a bowl and stuck it into her mouth, delighting at the taste, and started people watching.

It seemed like almost forever for the plane from Tokyo to New York City to arrive at it's destination. Setsuna Meioh wished she had tolerated the long flight considering how much time she spent guarding the Time Gates all alone. She suspected that the time zone difference would take some time to get adjusted to, but the party was only for one night so she wanted to feel decent. 

She took the invitation out of her coat pocket and checked the address just to make sure it was the right location. The neighbourhood looked fairly okay, despite the initial appearance of the structure. Setsuna then went behind an alleyway and looked to make sure that no one could see her before she would transform.

"Pluto Planet Power Make Up!" Setsuna said as a wall of sand formed all around her, allowing her sailor fuku and garnet orb to appear. Setsuna then went back onto the street and very quickly opened the door. Her surroundings were immediately transformed into a festive looking christmas style party format. She immediately noticed a Senshi she did not recognize. "Well this was an invitation to the whole Milky Way galaxy." Setsuna thought to herself. 

She then went up to the Sailor Senshi she did not recongize. "Hello there, I'm Sailor Pluto. What is your name?" Setsuna asked. She also hoped that more Senshi would show up soon.

Sailor Jupiter made her way through the crowds on the side walks of new york. She had a jacket on over her green and pink Fuku and her green heels clicked as she made her way to the building she was expected at. Holding her coat close the brunette looked between the invitation and the buildings. Finally finding the right building Makoto walked in her heels still clicking. The out side was much to be desired but once she entered the building that all changed. It all looked so festive as she looked around her. She pulled off her coat setting it in a corner out of the way and where she would remember it. The brunette senshi was a bit uneasy about the invitation at first but Usagi swore they would be all right and she believed Usagi when it came to stuff like this though most would think she would still be iffy about things like this.

   Sailor Pallas    

PallaPalla happily skipped along the New York sidewalk, occasionally stopping to stick her tongue out in order to catch a falling snowflake. The little blunette wore a fluffy blue jacket that matched the color of her hair, as well as a snow hat of the same color. The usual baubles decorating her hair only poked out of the hat, not bouncing up and down like they usually did when she skipped.
Earlier, she had received an invitation to attend a Christmas party by a Sailor Senshi she'd never heard of. The others seemed suspicious, but how bad could it be? It was a party! Parties were fun! And as the first snow began to fall on this twentieth-century night, she thought that there couldn't be a better night to hold a Christmas party.
After stopping to quickly say hello to Santa Claus (VesVes would always tell her that it was just some guy in a costume, but she never believed her), she pulled the invitation out of her jacket pocket. She read the address out loud twice, before scanning around with her large blue eyes. Finally, she found the place and frowned.
"It's abandoned," she remarked to no one in particular, tilting her head to the side. She glanced at her invitation again, before the truth hit her.
"Oh! Only Sailor Senshi could see it! PALLAS ASTEROID POWER, MAKE UP!"
Sure enough, after Sailor Pallas finished her transformation and stepped inside, the abandoned building immediately transformed into an extravagant Christmas party, with a buffet, a dance floor, Christmas decorations, and...
"Candy canes!" Pallas squealed with delight, scampering to the bowl. She picked one up and stuck it in her mouth, savoring the taste before spinning around and seeing a familiar face.
"Jupiter-sama!" she squealed again, smiling and running towards the green-clad Sailor Jupiter. "Pallas didn't know you'd come here!"

Sailor Methuselah hadn't been there for long, delighting in the taste of her treat, before she was approached by a tall young woman with long dark hair. She opened her stance a bit, welcoming interaction as she noted the senshi's attire, immediately placing her as a guardian of the host system. She quite enjoyed the attire - a full bodice, front and back, tall boots, above-elbow length gloves, good-sized skirt - very functional, even with the decorative bows. 

Sailor Pluto wrote:

"Hello there, I'm Sailor Pluto. What is your name?"

She offered a smile and a slight nod of her head, taking the candy from her mouth by hooking her finger around the crook. "Sailor Methuselah," she introduced herself, but as she caught another host-system senshi approaching with a frosty expression, she straightened and only hoped she was coming across as respectful as she averted her gaze as the other young woman spoke, holding the candy slightly behind her back.

 She had a stone cold serious expression on her face at all times...

- Hi, I'm Sailor Mars, I actually belong in this planetary system. Who are you?

Holding back a smile at the obvious cross-ness of her new 'friend', she nodded her head to the side, and repeated her name, "Sailor Methuselah." Thinking quickly, she also added, "At your service," by way of a greeting. And then sincerely hoped that it was an expression here and she wasn't about to be pressed into serving Sailor Mars all night. ...but then that would be an experience - she could probably get quite a bit of information that way. ... unless servants here had different expectations involved. ... Bottom line, probably not the best greeting she could have come up with, but as the ball was in Sailor Mars's court, she could only wait.

... would it be in poor taste to continue eating her candy? 

...best not to try, she decided with a mental sigh.

Minako could not stop smiling, she got to be in New York.   "Oh, Rei.. Mako-chan, isn't this wonderful?????  the Broadway shows, this fancy hotel" she said with a excited voice. "and the shopping!!!!!!" she added  "i can't wait to go to this mall of America. " she said and took her phone out to get directions.. "WHAT!!!!!!!!!  it's alll the way in Minnesota" she cried out     

"by the way isn't strange we have to be in our Sailor form" she asked as she looked down at her own fuka.  "I wish i could wear a dress" she sighed

Makoto Chuckled at her blond friend. "we've been through this already before we got off the plan." the brunette said with a chuckle. She was about to say something else to the blond when another voice spoke up. SHe turned with a smile towards Pallas. "Hello Pallas I think those of us that have were a bit suspicious of the invitation." the brunette said. "I didn't realize you would be joining us tonight as well though are any of the others with you?" she asked scanning the room for any of the other quartet senshi. 

"mars your starting to sound like Uranus now." the green clad senshi called to her friend in red. She walked over looking at the senshi she had never met before. "I'm Sailor Jupiter." she said holding out a hand for the girl to shake. "Don't worry to much about Mars she's always like this." the brunette said teasing her darker haired friend a bit.

Parties don’t particularly excite Ami, but New York City inexplicably did. It was one of the most famous cities in the world, after all, and seeing the world had always been her dream. And now she got to do it while doing senshi business at the same time. Perfect arrangement, if she did say so herself. She didn’t know the guardian hosting the party, but while for Usagi and the others, a party was enough of an excuse to party, for her, research was it. She was glad they got to come in senshi form; it’d make it easier for her to do her thing, plus she was never the most comfortable in formal dresses.

She had lagged a bit behind Mako, Ami, and Minako because she’d been admiring the architectures of New York City and the way the city was laid out (numbering the streets was a completely sensible idea!), but she quickly caught up now, panicked at the thought that her friends wouldn’t have her around when they needed her. Standing in front of the abandoned building, she raised her hand and called out, “Mercury Crystal Power, Make Up!” and a second later, she was already transformed. And so had the scenery before her. The building had come alive, turning into a beautiful hotel decorated with Christmas lights.

She didn’t immediately go in. Instead, she called up her Mercury goggles and computers. What kind of magic was going on here? Scanning the building, Ami didn’t find anything particularly suspicious. The magic registered the same signature as her own senshi magic, and there was no alarming signs of what could possibly be the enemy. For now, anyway. Still wary, Mercury dismissed the goggles and computer as she walked inside. Her friends were crowding around an unfamiliar face, who had introduced herself as another senshi. Methuselah… That was a Biblical name. She carefully wound her way around her friends and assessed the newcomer.

“May I ask which planet you came from?” she asked, her curiosity getting the better of her. Usually she didn’t immediately volunteer for a conversation with a stranger, but Sailor Mercury was always a bit more confident and brave than Ami was, plus she was surrounded by her friends, which made her safer. Also, she really was very curious.

Minako just smiled, "i wasn't paying attention, when you talked about, i was really excited about coming here" she said.   "So, if they are up to evil an we will stop them, and if not, well we can enjoy this trip" she added

   Sailor Pallas    

Sailor Pallas looked around her when Jupiter mentioned the other Asteroids. "No, Pallas doesn't see them," she said sadly. "Pallas doesn't think they'll come. But..." she added, drawing out the last word. A bright, cheerful smile appeared on her face. "She doesn't THINK they'll come. Which means they still might!"
After conversing with Mars, Jupiter had apparently left, and seeing as Pallas pretty much had nothing else to do, she followed the Inner Senshi to the new Senshi, whose name she didn't catch.
"Hi!" she piped up, smiling widely and extending a gloved hand to the newcomer. "I'm Sailor Pallas! What's your name?" This was one of the rare instances in which Pallas referred to herself in first person. She just found it easier to do so while introducing herself.

Michiru took the invitation out of her red peacoat and checked the address one more time as she hurried down the streets of New York. She had just finished what she hoped was a successful audition in order to play violin solo at the upcoming Christmas symphony concert. She had arrived a few days prior to the party date in order to prep for the solo and had already checked out the party location, so checking the address again was more out of nerves than facts.

I wish I knew more about this party and who's attending. I can't shake the feeling the sea is sending me. I don't trust it.

Arriving at the party sight, she paused. "I do wish Haruka was here with me, just in case my feeling is right. Regardless, Neptune Crystal Power, Makeup!" She flipped her hair and walked into the party.

Upon entering, she looked around and saw everyone crowded around a person she could not identify. She saw Pluto and strolled towards her side, overhearing Jupiter's comment about Mars sounding like Uranus as she came up.

"It's a good thing she only sounds like Uranus. The world couldn't handle TWO of them," the aqua haired woman said with the smile. "Hello everyone, nice to see you. And hello new soldier. My name is Sailor Neptune. You are?"

Sailor Jupiter wrote:

"Mars you're starting to sound like Uranus now. I'm Sailor Jupiter." she said holding out a hand for the girl to shake. "Don't worry to much about Mars she's always like this."

The copper-haired girl took Sailor Jupiter's proffered hand and accepted the handshake, mentally tagging the action and relating it to another greeting from another system. How interesting, that such social behaviors travel so well over such large distances... Thinking of distances, her eyes soon caught yet another person heading her way, another Solar-system senshi, by the look of it.

Sailor Mercury wrote:

“May I ask which planet you came from?”

She nodded her head politely, wondering if she should offer her hand to the newcomer, but decided against it, just in case the Martian senshi found the action at all hostile; what if it were a dominance determination? She put on a smile and answered, "My home planet is Methuselah, which, by your astronomical catalogs, is located in the Messier 4 globular cluster."

Before she could get another word in, yet another senshi approached - she was starting to feel rather popular - but this senshi was younger than her contemporaries, though wore a similar uniform; probably a senshi in training, or an early awakening, she supposed.

Sailor Pallas wrote:

"Hi!" she piped up, smiling widely and extending a gloved hand to the newcomer. "I'm Sailor Pallas! What's your name?"

She took the hand and shook this one two, enjoying the young girl's enthusiasm. "I'm Sailor Methuselah, and it's nice to meet you, Sailor Pallas!"

And yet another, this young woman's movements filled with grace as she approached, a mischievous gleam in her eye as she took a place beside the first senshi - Sailor Pluto - 's side.

Sailor Neptune wrote:

"It's a good thing she only sounds like Uranus. The world couldn't handle TWO of them," the aqua haired woman said with the smile. "Hello everyone, nice to see you. And hello new soldier. My name is Sailor Neptune. You are?"

She couldn't help but chuckle - how often had she said her name in the last few minutes? Soon it would cease to have meaning! "I'm Sailor Methuselah, and it's a pleasure to meet all of you."

"You must be so completely overwhelmed, Sailor Methuselah. You have to pardon us; we tend to get excited when we meet new people," Neptune said with a smile. "Tell us stranger, what's your planet like and what brings you here?"

Neptune kept a smile on her face yet cast a sideways glance at Pluto. "I want to know what I can about this stranger," she thought to herself while looking around the room.

Sailor Neptune wrote:

"You must be so completely overwhelmed, Sailor Methuselah. You have to pardon us; we tend to get excited when we meet new people," Neptune said with a smile. "Tell us stranger, what's your planet like and what brings you here?"

She considered the question carefully, trying to gauge exactly how much they actually wanted to know versus how much they would listen to out of being polite; part of her wanted to test their limits, but then she didn't want to drive them away before she could get other, possibly more useful pieces of information. And, who knows, there might be time to test patience against politeness later on in the night! She swapped her candy cane back to her dominant hand to keep her fingers busy while she offered the bare minimum, "Methuselah is a large planet, just over twice the size of your planet Jupiter, and is one of the oldest in this galaxy," she smiled softly, proud of her heritage, "We orbit two stars - a pulsar and a white dwarf - and while our population is minimal, our planet is home to a massive catalog of anthropological, archaeological, and zoological data. We senshi have fancied ourselves scholars of life, but with every new iteration there is more and more to study and learn," she paused, hoping not to sound too uncaring as she continued, "Which is partly why I'm here. I was on distant worlds when I heard of the terror of Sailor Galaxia, but, thankfully, was never near the main battlefront. When I heard of her defeat at the hands of your Sailor Moon, and her triumph and choice at the Galaxy Cauldron, I just had to -- er," she corrected, slowing down, "I felt it would be wise to visit the Solar System next, and gather data about the fight and the home of the saviors of our Milky Way."

Her large grin couldn't help but betray her enthusiasm, "Again, nice to meet you all."

"the terror of Sailor Galaxia..."

Neptune watched the stranger's mouth moving but no words were coming to her ears. She had flashed back to that terrible battle and the gamble she and Uranus had made. She thought of laying on the roof, reaching for Uranus's hand. She knew obviously how it all turned out, but she couldn't shake the memory. This is no time to get lost in my thoughts. Not only am I being rude, I'm not paying attention and I need to gather as much information as possible. I sincerely hope I do not look vacant.

She closed and opened her eyes and smiled, probably a little bigger than normal but she couldn't help but notice Methulesah's enthusiasm, and said, "Your planet sounds fascinating. And you appear really thrilled to be here. I hope that we can help you learn about this planet. If you will excuse me, I'm going to grab a drink."

Neptune started to walk away and then turned her head back and called out, "Anyone else want a drink while I'm over there?"

Sailor Pluto was interested by Sailor Methuselah's story. She didn't sense anything amiss about this senshi. 

"I would love a drink Neptune." Pluto said calmly. She just wanted to relax and have fun this evening. 

OOC:

Sailor Le Blanc exhaled as she tightened her hand on her staff. She had studied the Senshi from the planet Earth along with those who called other planets their home for months now. Like all Senshi, she too had a theme to her power. Sailor Le Blanc was the Senshi of tricks and magic. Of course her realm of Magic looked up to her as their savior, but being the Senshi of tricks and magic was also a double edged sword. It was in her blood to pull pranks on those that she found to be lower on the "worthy" scale. 

Sailor Le Blanc wrapped her cape around her body as she clicked her boots down the stairwell. Her fingernail traced the stair banister leaving blue and silver ribbons draping over the rails that were caused by her touch. 

"Welcome lovelies." Sailor Le Blanc said with a heart warning smile as she raised her staff in her left hand. A bright light glowed from out of it, filling the room. "Please, make yourself at home. I thank you all for coming to my little Christmas get together this year. It is so nice to finally meet you all."

Minako looked at Sailor Le Blanc, wondering who she was and what she wanted.  "I'm ready to have fun" she said, she knew they have to be on there feet, but had to act like they were ready to party

"I'm ready to have fun"


Sailor Le Blanc looked at the senshi who spoke up above the others. This girl, Sailor Venus, was the Senshi of all that was love. This is how Sailor Le Blanc viewed her. With her powers of golden heart chains, yuck.


"Good." Sailor Le Blanc grinned at the long haired Senshi then slammed her staff on the floor. Instantly Sailor Le Blanc vanished and the ground began to shake.

"I'll go with you Neptune." the brunette said fallowing the aqua heard girl over to the drinks. She spun around the second she heard Sailor Le Blanc. She wasn't to sure about this senshi. As soon as Venus spoke and the new senshi hit her staff on the ground Jupiter reached out to grab something to steady herself. "is everyone OK!?" the brunette said looking around at the other senshi in the room. Her eyes finally landed on the newest senshi. "Who are you?" she asked her eyes narrowed.

“Messier 4? In the Scorpius constellation then?” Mercury’s brain was already working to calculate where this planet would be and why no one on earth had identified it as a planet. Then again, ever since Galaxia, she had only just realized how many unidentified planets were out there in their Solar System. “Ah, I’m sorry I forgot to introduce myself,” she blushed when she realized in her curiosity, she had forgotten her manners. “I’m Sailor Mercury, nice to meet you.”

The rest of her companions had crowded around the new senshi, and Mercury heard Neptune ask the stranger what her planet was like. She listened to the answer closely, finding herself more and more fascinated. It was twice the size of their largest planet? It made it all the more curious that no one had ever found it. Something that big couldn’t possibly be easily missed. “Scholars?” she whispered, more to herself than the others. Well, she definitely liked them already. It looked like the denizens of Methuselah had a lot in common with her. Instantly she felt a kinship with the new senshi, even as she reminded herself not to immediately trust someone she just met, guardian or not.

She was about to say something else when their host finally appeared, making her grand entrance down the stairwell. Here was another senshi she knew nothing about; another person she needed to investigate. Yet before much could be said, the girl had disappeared again and the ground began to shake. Instinctively Mercury reached for the nearest thing to hold on to. “An earthquake?” she said, confused. But it happened right after Sailor Le Blanc hit her staff on the ground; it must be her doing this. Unfortunately, she had vanished. “This could be a trap! We should find an exit!”

If someone wanted to wipe out all the senshi in one go, inviting them into a party and trapping them in one place would be a very good way of doing that.

Pallas started to tune out the conversation between the Inners and the newcomers. Sure, it was an interesting thing to talk about, and she certainly knew all of the terms, but she came to this party to party (and investigate, but partying was really her top priority), not to talk about scholars. The Senshi of Strategy started to drift over to the buffet table again, mostly looking for sweets. She smiled when she saw the plate of cookies and made to grab one when the host appears and introduced herself.
"Nice to meet you, too!" Pallas chirped when LeBlanc finished talking. Then the host vanished, and that's when the shaking began.
The little Senshi was so startled, she let out a terrified scream and dove under the table, clutching at one of the legs. The shaking finally stopped, and hesitantly, she crawled out from under the table. "Was that an earthquake?" she squeaked, quivering slightly.

Sailor Mercury wrote:

“Messier 4? In the Scorpius constellation then? Ah, I’m sorry I forgot to introduce myself,” she blushed when she realized in her curiosity, she had forgotten her manners. “I’m Sailor Mercury, nice to meet you.”

Sailor Methusela smiled and nodded at her correct placement of her home system, returning a "Nice to meet you," after Mercury's introduction. Before much more could be said, however, the apparent host made her appearance.

Sailor Le Blanc wrote:

"Welcome lovelies. Please, make yourself at home. I thank you all for coming to my little Christmas get together this year. It is so nice to finally meet you all."

She watched the host and offered a small round of applause, pausing only when no one else joined her; she missed a comment made by another home-system senshi, and the return from their host. But she did not miss the mysterious disappearance and the near immediate occurrence of an earthquake. Still managing to hold on to her candy piece, she grabbed the edge of the table in front of her and braced her legs, wincing as a few tasty-looking cakes fell to the floor.

Sailor Mercury wrote:

“An earthquake?” “This could be a trap! We should find an exit!”

While she agreed with the assessment of the situation, Sailor Methuselah was rather torn with whether to stay or leave; she had missed a first-hand account of the Sailor Wars, could she really miss the beginning of whatever-this-was? Dangerous as it may be, someone needed to write this as it happened! So she braced, and was willing to help others find the exit, but she would be the last to leave.

"Do you think the doors are still open?" she asked, not holding much hope for the chance but it would be foolish to ignore the idea completely. But asking was all fine and good, getting over there with the ground shaking was something entirely different.

Neptune heard Jupiter call out to her, so she paused and waited for her to catch up. She smiled at her chestnut haired battle companion and started to walk towards the beverages. She stopped when she heard Sailor LeBlanc start to greet the assembled senshi. There's something off about this new arrival's energy. She listened intently and then the earth started to shake. Neptune had nothing to brace herself with, so she crouched down in an effort to stay on her feet. She heard Pallas scream and started to make her way over to the table. By the time it was over, the little one came out.

"Was that an earthquake?" she squeaked out. 
"Yes small one, but there is no reason to be scared," Neptune said as she helped Pallas stand. She heard Jupiter ask if everyone was alright and the stranger ask about if the doors were still open.

"We need to stay calm and focused. Whoever is closest to the door, try to check it. Everyone else prepare yourself for anything.

She looked at Pallas who seemed to have recovered from her fright. I knew something was not right. And if this is a trap, without all the senshi being here, we're going to need to fight a lot harder than usual. I just hope the 8 of us are enough and that Methulesa is a ally. 

"why is the ground shaking" Minako cried out  "so this was a trap" she added

Pluto didn't know what to think of Sailor Le Blanc, but was startled when the ground started to shake. "Grab hold of something tightly everyone!" Pluto screamed as she was knocked down from the lack of balance. The shaking stopped and Pluto got back up. "Starting to think this may be a trap too Venus."

Sailor Le Blanc's face appeared on the ceiling above the Senshi. She laughed out loud at their pathetic attempts for balance, and decided to have some more fun with the girls. Whatever Sailor Le Blanc thought would happen in this hotel. This hotel was bursting with chaotic energy, something Sailor Le Blanc thrived on. This menacing side was the double edged sword to her power becoming known.

"I hope you aren't afraid of mice" Sailor Le Blanc said as the treats that fell at Sailor Methusela's feet turned into little white furry rodents. The creatures chattered and scampered every which way across the hotel floor, crawling over the girl's feet. 

The room shaking didn't intensify, but stayed rather calm. It was just enough to cause walking difficulty and annoyance throughout the crowd.
