During the five seasons she is mostly wearing her school uniforms. However, in the first three seasons she has another uniform than in the fifth season. The main colors of the uniforms are always blue and white, though. The uniform from Juuban Municipal Junior High School has a white longsleeve and a Palatinate blue skirt and collar. Furthermore there are two white stripes on the collar as well as on the blue elastic bands at the end of the sleeves. The uniform has two bows: a Palatinate blue back bow and a red bow in the middle of the longsleeve. When the weather gets warmer, Juuban Municipal Junior High School also offers a short-sleeved shirt. In general it looks exactly the same aside from the fact that the sleeves are short and puffy.

When Usagi and the others changed school to Juuban Municipal High School, they also got a new uniform. As it was before the uniform has a white longsleeve. The skirt and the collar are blue as well but in another shade: Ultramarine. Instead of the red bow in the middle of the top, the uniforms have an ultramarine bow to match the skirt and the collar. Besides that the stripes on the collar and on the elastic bands are red.

But no matter which uniform she is wearing during the series, Usagi put her brooch on the front bow, so that she is always able to transform.

When Usagi isn't wearing her school uniform she is wearing every kind of clothes as long as they are pastel-colored. She wears intense colors (e.g. red) only rarely and is rather focused on pastel-colors.



Neo Queen Serenity: Years later, her facial features have gone more mature and her face now looks more mature and graceful, making her look like a real lady. Also, her style has changed and so, she mostly wears her elegant white gown combined with a light pink lip stick on her lips and a golden crown with red accents on her head. Also noteworthy is the fact that the golden crescent moon is now permanently on her forehead.



Personality: At the beginning of the series the viewer gets introduced to Usagi Tsukino, a 14 year old girl who describes herself as a klutz and a crybaby. This impression gets confirmed during the first episodes but actually Usagi is anything but a crybaby.

She shows a great development through the series; in the first episode she just wanted to go home - but when you compare it to later episodes, it gets clear that she grew up and turned into a powerful, young lady. At the end of the series she even conquered the legendary Sailor Soldier Sailor Galaxia which makes Usagi to the most powerful Senshi of the universe.

Usagi is virtually the embodiment of love. She can't hate anyone, not even her enemies. She sees the good in everyone and so she forgives them even if they did terrible things. To others Usagi often appears as naive and reckless due to this attitude. But she doesn't mind, she believes in the good of humanity and that everyone can change when they just want to. She believed in Hotaru that she was still present and can beat Mistress 9, she believed in Nehelenia that she can start a new life, she believed in Galaxia that she still has the chance to save the universe - those are one of many examples that prove this attitude.

As already mentioned she is said to be the most powerful Senshi in the universe even though she can't destroy a planet like Saturn or Galaxia do. But instead she is able to heal everyone and healing needs more power and strength than destroying; this is what makes her to the most powerful of all.

Usagi is an extroverted person who has no problems with establishing contacts. She mostly speaks in a kind manner and is very helpful. However, she is a bad student and always get bad grades at school. That's because she rather spends her free time with relaxing with her friends and playing in the Crown Arcarde instead of learning. Furthermore she also loves food and sleep. But over time she got more and more responsible; maybe not concerning school but she learns to face up to her destiny as a Sailor Soldier.

She is a caring and loving person and would do everything for her friends and family even though it doesn't always seem like it. For example Usagi often argues with Rei and Chibiusa about little silly things but actually they love and care about each other and know that they can count on the other when things are getting serious.

Mamoru and Usagi are a couple; they were one in the past, they are one in the present and they will be one in the future. She adores him and couldn't live without him. Her dream is to marry him and be a bride. After the marriage she can imagine to live her life as a housewife and be a loving mother.

Neo Queen Serenity: Now arrived in adulthood, Usagi is way more graceful and elegant, her clumsiness apparently washed away. And even though the old Usagi shines through at times - for example, she still can't write in Kanji and she often skips meetings, saying that she is sick - she is now more mature and always shows her refined manners. Nonetheless, her love for humanity and the universe is still as strong as before and her pure heart never changed.

Any Unique Abilities/Skills: Since Usagi is the reincarnation of the Moon Princess Serenity, she is able to use the legendary Silver Crystal (Maboroshi ni Ginzuishou). Usagi controls it with the feelings of her heart. Furthermore she has the ability to eat as much as she wants without gaining weight.
 
History: During the Silver Millenium Usagi was known as the Moon Princess, Princess Serenity, the daughter of Queen Serenity who was the ruler of the Moon Kingdom. Princess Serenity had a peaceful life on the Moon and often spent her time with her life guards - Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus. She always admired the blue planet earth and it was her dream to visit it. However, it was not allowed that people from the Moon Kingdom establish contacts with the inhabitants of Earth. But due to Serenity's curiosity she eventually visited earth and got to know the Prince of the Earth Kingdom, Prince Endymion. They fell in love with each other and met quite often. An inhabitant of Earth, Beryl, got jealous of Serenity and caused an uprising against the Kingdoms. Serenity died with Endymion because of the tremendous riot.

Years later, Serenity has been reincarnated on Earth as Usagi Tsukino. She grew up with a loving family and good friends and lived a happy life. However, when Usagi was 14 years old a black cat with a crescent moon on the forehead came across her and informed her about her destiny as the legendary Sailor Soldier Sailor Moon. It was her duty to find the Moon Princess and the Silver Crystal as well as her companions so that they could fight the evil. Later it comes to light that Usagi is the searched Moon Princess and the only one who can control the Silver Crystal. Together with her companions - Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus - they fought every enemy in the universe over the years. During their adventures they also got to know the soldiers from the Outer Solar System: Sailor Uranus, Sailor Neptune, Sailor Pluto and eventually Sailor Saturn. The Sailor Team fought the evil and contended for peace.

Time went by and in the 30th century Usagi is now known as Neo Queen Serenity, the beautiful ruler of the world. Together with her daughter, Small Lady, and her husband and king, Endymion, she rules the world and brings about peace. However, with this duty, she is very busy and mostly spends her time in the Crystal Palace, fulfilling her duties as a Queen.
When she became Neo Queen Serenity, she also lost her powers as a Senshi and even though she is still able to use the Silver Crystal, she can't transform anymore.

Storyline Specific Information: Mommy's Little Girl: In this story, Small Lady feels a closer bond to Sailor Pluto instead to her mother. To her it feels as if her mother doesn’t love her because she has been too busy with her queenly duties. Small Lady spends a lot of time with Sailor Pluto causing the Queen to feel some jealousy towards Sailor Pluto. This also leads to the Queen being a bit more reckless with the hopes that Small Lady will see that Neo Queen Serenity does care about Small Lady.

A new enemy is on the prowl and they are after Small Lady. One day Small Lady is out on the town, Neo Queen Serenity following at a distance. The enemy tries to attack, but fails because Neo Queen Serenity stops the attack on her daughter, but because she is limited in her powers- the Queen is severely injured and rushed to the hospital. This act causes Small Lady to realize how much her mother loves her. Small Lady confides in Pluto while waiting on the state of her mother. Neo Queen Serenity will be okay after some recovery, which will allow for Small Lady and Neo Queen Serenity to strengthen their bond with each other.

Sailor Moon:
The main colors of her fuku are red and blue. Her skirt and her collar are blue while the shoes, the bows, the end of the gloves, the choker, the middle of the odango covers and the gem in the tiara are red. Her leotard, the edge of the odango covers and most of her gloves are white, as well as the two stripes on her collar and the ends of her boots. She has a crescent moon as a pendant on the choker, wears them as earrings and just like on her boots. When Sailor Moon wears this fuku she either has the Transformation Brooch, the Crystal Star or the Cosmic Heart Compact in front of her bow.
 
Super Sailor Moon:
The majority of Super Sailor Moon's fuku is white. Her leotard, the back bow, most of her skirt, most of the gloves, the edge of the odango covers and the ends of her shoes are colored in white. The main part of her shoes, the end of the gloves and the front bow are red, as well as most of the odango cover and the tiara gem. The lower part of the skirt is colored in yellow and blue. The collar also contains blue and has two yellow stripes. Super Sailor Moon's fuku has different sleeves. Instead of the puffy "sleeve-rolls", Super Sailor Moon's fuku has transparent stepped sleeves. Above the hip rolls she wears a yellow belt. In the middle of the belt is a pendant which matches the current brooch. The tiara is golden and the crescent moons on her shoes, on her tiara and in her ears (as earrings) are yellow. The pendant on the choker is a pink heart now and additionally she wears two white hair clips in her bangs. Along with this fuku she either wears the Cosmic Heart Compact or the Crisis Moon Compact.

Eternal Sailor Moon:
Eternal Sailor Moon is the final form in the anime. It looks completely different compared to her former fukus. One of the biggest changes is the fact, that Eternal Sailor Moon wears wings. Furthermore her skirt is now mostly yellow and stepped. The two steps are red and dark blue (top down). Above her skirt she has - instead of the hip rolls - two bands, a yellow and a red one, and in the middle of those you can see a yellow crescent moon. The leotard is white as well as most of the shoes and the gloves. Eternal Sailor Moon has no bows anymore. Her front bow is replaced by the white-gold Eternal Moon Article and the wings occupied her whole back. Her collar has a dark blue shade - the same as the third step of her skirt - and three yellow stripes. The sleeves are pink and puffy with two red rolls at the end. She wears white gloves, which are longer than those of her former fukus, with three red rolls at the end (next to them are accessories who match her hair clips) and one kind of red wristband with a yellow moon in the front. Also red are the ends of her shoes, the two bands at the back and her choker. The pendant of the choker is matching to the middle part of her brooch and is golden. Her earrings are crescent moons with stars right under them. She also has a crescent moon on her forehead as well as in the middle of her boots. The odango covers and the hair clips stayed the same.

She looked around and admired the wonderful place. It was her biggest dream to see it one day with her own eyes. And finally the time has come. It looked so peaceful and magnificent. Wherever she looked at, she saw beautiful plants she had never seen before and noble-looking paths. In front of her was a big castle. Who might live there? The young Moon Princess was curious and so she hit the road to the castle. On her way she saw many friendly people and stunning buildings. Earth is such a beautiful place! I don't know why I'm not allowed to visit this place.
Serenity was almost in front of the gate when suddenly some guards appeared. Serenity was told that she is not allowed to visit the Prince's castle but she knew: Everything that wasn't allowed is the most exciting. So she went back until the guards didn't see her anymore and searched for another entrance. She turned to the left and looked if guards are supervising this place - fortunately they didn't. Serenity walked over to the place and hided behind a tree. But no one was present. Where's the prince? No sooner than she thought that a tall young man in a knight's armor came out of the castle. He had dark hair and bright blue eyes. He walked around the grassland and enjoyed the nature. While doing so, he eventually found the Moon Princess watching him behind a tree. Blushed from embarassment Serenity came out of hiding and looked to the ground. "I'm sorry," she said. "I didn't want to watch you. I was just curios who might live here." She paused. The bright blue eyes of the young man totally floored her. Everything she could say was, "I'm...Serenity," while she looked deep into his eyes.
He smiled. "Nice to meet you, Serenity! I'm Endymion, the prince of Earth."
