| Subject: (Approved) [Advanced Senshi] Sailor Moon / Princess Serenity / Usagi Tsukino 3rd August 2015, 5:11 pm | |
| Character Name: Usagi Tsukino (Rabbit of the Moon)Gender: FemaleAge and Date of Birth: 14-16, June 30th Used Canons: 90’s Anime, Manga and Sailor Moon Crystal Appearance:Usagi Tsukino: In the anime and manga, Usagi has blue eyes, and wears her blonde knee length hair in two pigtails topped with buns known as odangos. She is 4ft11 and is the shortest amongst her friends. Even though she is quite short, her body is well proportioned with her legs being slightly longer than her torso. She is considered pretty but not a bombshell beauty like some of her friends (Rei or Minako).Throughout the Manga, Crystal and the anime, Usagi is mostly seen wearing her school uniform which consists of a dark blue skirt, a white short sleeved blouse with a big red bow with her transformation compact in the middle. When she’s not wearing her typical school outfit she is seen sporting a cute girlie style which pastel colours, short skirts, dresses and flat shoes. Anything too high and she’d be tripping all over herself!Princess Serenity: Princess Serenity is the same height and has the same features as Usagi, however, in the manga her hair is not blonde but rather light silver. In both the Anime and Crystal, she sports the same blonde hair as Usagi. It should be noted that Serenity’s hair is closer to floor length as opposed to Usagi’s hair. Due to her royalty, she has a crescent shaped moon on her forehead and she is only ever seen wearing a white gown embossed with gold circles around the bust with cuffs below her shoulders. This dress is her typical outfit inside and outside of the castle. On occasion she likes to wear flowers around her odangos and pearl barrettes. Neo-Queen Serenity: Neo-Queen Serenity wears an altered version of the dress she wore as a princess, with the shoulder pieces omitted and a large, wing-shaped bow replacing the smaller one of the princess outfit. In the manga, Neo-Queen Serenity's dress is similar to her past form's outfit. She also wears a crown and new earrings. The crescent moon is always visible on her forehead, just as it was with her princess form. Her face and facial expressions are drawn to look more mature than the 20th century Usagi, but her iconic hairstyle is retained.Personality: Usagi Tsukino: In the Manga and Crystal, Usagi is introduced as a well-meaning but underachieving and accident prone crybaby who is living a normal teenager life. She is portrayed as having an extremely caring heart and putting her friends before herself. Throughout the series, Usagi goes through a huge transformation from a cry-baby who is not duty-bound to a young woman who puts others before herself and mature’s significantly. Her transformation from child to young woman is helped along by her relationship with Mamoru. Having this relationship forces her to go through difficult times (i.e. ChibiUsa arrival or Mamoru’s kidnapping or brainwashing) and allows her to mature. With ChibiUsa in particular, she realizes that her love for Mamoru can be shared with a child and that she needs to grow up. By the end of the series, Usagi is a confident young woman who is the embodiment of love. Throughout the series (whether it be Crystal, the anime or the Manga), Usagi is a care-free, friendly extrovert who always sees the best in everyone. She inherently believes that there is good in all. As a result, she tries give everyone a second chance even though it sometimes backfires. She is sometimes seen as reckless due to his behavior but it is a characteristic that is intrinsic to her being and it makes her who she is. She applies this attitude not only to people in her life but most importantly to all of the enemies she comes across with the exception of Beryl. Believing in the enemies inherit good makes sense as one of her main powers is healing. She also always ensures that everyone feels comfortable in all situations and that she comes across as helpful with new friends. She is always the first to make friends and to foster the new relationships. This is evidenced as she befriends Ami, Rei, and Makoto. She also has an extremely playful side and loves her video games, hanging out with friends, shopping and lounging around. Unfortunately, this is to the detriment of her schooling and results in bad grades. While we are led to believe that her grades do improve as she matures, schooling is never a priority for Usagi.Lastly and probably most importantly: she is a horrible cook and should never be allowed to cook for anyone! Princess Serenity: In the manga, anime and Crystal, Princess Serenity is portrayed as slightly childish and as enthusiastic as Usagi. She seems to take matters into her own hands and ignores the laws that prevent her from going to Earth. She is seen as loyal, fun loving, caring, and has an unyielding love for Endymion. Unfortunately, her love for Endymion led to her ultimate demise as grief and fear of living without him overtook her senses which resulted in her ending her life. In her reincarnated form as Princess Serenity, she appears to be sophisticated and in control of her powers. She is soft spoken, yet strong in her values and fights for what she believes in. Neo Queen Serenity: Neo-Queen Serenity is the adult version of Usagi in 30th Century Crystal Tokyo. She is seen as a fair ruler, who has matured and lost part of her childish ways. While the Manga notes that she still misses some meetings or sleeps in once in a while, this is the most mature version of Usagi. She understands her duties and lives by them. She also cares deeply for her husband, Endymion, and their daughter, ChibiUsa. An important note to consider is that NQS can no longer transform into Sailor Moon. While she can no longer transform she can still use the Crystal which continues to be motivated by her emotions. Any Unique Abilities/Skills: Usagi is able to use the Silver Crystal which is controlled by her emotions. History: Princess Serenity lived in the moon kingdom during the age of Silver Millennium as the daughter of Queen Serenity, who ruled Silver Millennium and watched over the Earth. Princess Serenity's guardians and closest friends were Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter, and Sailor Venus, who were princesses of their own respective planets, but lived on the moon with her at times. On one of her visits to Earth, she met the crown prince of the Earth, Endymion, and they fell in love.During the attack that caused the Moon Kingdom's downfall, Prince Endymion died protecting Serenity. In the manga, she committed suicide out of grief, while in the anime Queen Metaria killed both of them. Serenity's mother, the Queen, was able to seal away the evil that had inspired the attack, but everyone involved was killed. Before her own death, the Queen used the Silver Crystal to give her daughter and others another chance at life, hoping in particular that, this time, Serenity and Endymion could find happiness together. In the live-action series, it was Princess Serenity herself who destroyed the Moon Kingdom, after Endymion was killed during the war to keep the two apart.Eventually, Serenity reincarnates as Usagi Tsukino in the 20th century. Usagi is first introduced to us when she helps a black cat with a small crescent moon on her forehead. The cat, whom we find out is Luna, later informs Usagi that she is destined to be the legendary soldier: Sailor Moon. At first Usagi doesn’t believe Luna and thinks that she is in a dream. Eventually (with the help of her transformation brooch) Usagi finally believes that she is a Sailor Soldier and goes off to fight evil. Along her journey she is informed that she needs to find her companions (Sailor Mercury, Mars, Jupiter and Venus) and search for the elusive Moon Princess and the Silver Crystal. Eventually in Act 9 of the Manga / Crystal and episode 30 of the anime it is revealed that Usagi is in fact the long lost Moon Princess. Once they have discovered that she is the Princess the Senshi regain their memories of their previous lives. The group continues to fight as a unit and fight against several enemies across 50 Acts / 200 episodes. During the second major story arc, it is revealed that Usagi, as Serenity, will eventually become the queen regnant of a new Silver Millennium called Crystal Tokyo, which will already exist in the 30th century. She is first seen in this future form in Act 16 of the manga and Episode 68 of the anime. Usagi learns that she will be given the title "Sovereign of Earth", and Mamoru will become King Endymion alongside her. It is stated in the anime that she becomes Neo-Queen Serenity after warding off a second Ice Age, though the specifics of this are never discussed. This incarnation is shown to be more mature than the present day Usagi, though she still has her moments — in Episode 104, Chibiusa gives the Sailor Soldiers a letter from the future, in which the Queen asks them to train her — the letter is simplistic and contains almost no kanji. Also, in Episode 146, Diana says that the King and Queen would sometimes play sick to get out of things. Letters she sends through the Door of Space-Time to Chibiusa are sometimes signed with a drawing of herself, (and sometimes King Endymion), instead of a name.In the manga, Neo-Queen Serenity addresses the present-day Sailor Soldiers, stating that after she became queen, she lost her power as a Sailor Soldier. However, this could simply mean that she is no longer able to transform into Sailor Moon, for she does still demonstrate a considerable amount of power (e.g.: reviving the citizens of 30th Century Tokyo with the Spiral Heart Moon Rod and bestowing the Sailor Soldiers with "Planet Powers" and her own past self with new "Cosmic Powers"). Furthermore, in the second arc of the anime she does not transform into Sailor Moon despite the fact that the other Sailor Soldiers have already transformed, and that her kingdom was under attack. However, she is still seen showing great powers in a flashback where King Endymion of the future describes to the present day Sailor Soldiers and Tuxedo Mask the great feats of Neo-Queen Serenity during the time she brought about peace. She wears an altered version of the dress she wore as a princess, with the shoulder pieces omitted and a large, wing-shaped bow replacing the smaller one of the princess outfit. In the manga, Neo-Queen Serenity's dress is similar to her past form's outfit. She also wears a crown and new earrings. The crescent moon is always visible on her forehead, just as it was with her princess form. Her face and facial expressions are drawn to look more mature than the 20th century Usagi, but her iconic hairstyle is retained. This form is the one that Chibiusa considers as truly being her mother, while Usagi of the past is regarded as more of a big-sister figure, and many characters often mistake them for sisters. In the DIC and Cloverway adaptations, Chibiusa often refers to her as her mother in both her civilian or Sailor Soldier forms. Although aware of the situation, Chibiusa rarely does this and often calls her by name instead.Storyline Specific Information: Auxiliary Reserve: Nothing specific yet!Crystal Academy: This storyline takes place in an altered form of the 20th century Tokyo. Everyone has lived two lives: The Silver Millennium and 20th century Tokyo right up to the battle with Galaxia, in which Sailor Moon was unable to defeat Galaxia. Instead before permanent damage was done, the silver crystal (in an attempt to self-preserve) along with Sailor Moon forced a restart to everyone's lives resulting in this new altered 20th century Tokyo. This new era is a combination of old and new; merging both lives together. As Serenity was reborn as her Princess ego, in this adaptation she will encompass both the Crystal and Manga adaptations of both Usagi and Serenity’s personality. This will hopefully make her a more rounded character. As noted in the Crystal Academy storyline, Serenity is sent to Earth for protection and for further training under disguise. When she is attending the Academy she will resemble Usagi (with shorter hair to the waist instead of her knees) in an attempt to conceal her true identity. When she is not under the power of the disguise pin she'll be wearing, she will resemble Princess Serenity from the Manga. In term of her personality, she will be depicted as curious as to why she was sent to Earth and slightly taken aback that she cannot show her true self. Her constant lying about who she is will wear down on her bubbly personality as lying is one of the things she hates the most. While she will have difficulties dealing with the lies and her hidden identity, she will still be able to make friends and be herself to a certain extent. She’ll just have moments of self-doubt and reflection, when it comes to her deeper friendships realizing that she’s constantly being deceitful even though it’s for a good cause.Furthermore, one major difference will be that Serenity will be a little more studious than previous versions. While she will be reluctant to attend classes she will still have a vested interest in learning how to control her powers. As a result, she will attend classes more regularly than in the Manga or Crystal. Lastly, in this portrayal Serenity will be 18 years old when she enters the Academy as the Academy is geared towards an older crowd who has already graduated from High School.Lastly, Serenity will not remember her past lives when she enters the Academy. Only after she starts to meet the different Senshi will she start to remember snippets, along with the others. Senshi Fuku:Sailor Moon: Has a crescent moon insignia on her red choker, the tops of her boots, and also had her transformation brooch in the center of her front bow. Her dominant color is blue (collar and skirt) and her accent color is red (bows, boots, gloves, and choker). Her boots are knee-high red with a white border at the triangular top. The gem in her tiara is also red. Her collar has two white stripes. Her earrings are dangling crescent moons. She also wears two white-bordered red circular accents on her odango. By the S season the jewel in Sailor Moon's tiara was crescent-moon-shaped, the crescent moon on her choker became a heart, and her brooch changed to a more heart-like shape.Super Sailor Moon: In the front of her hair are two wing-like barrettes. Her earrings are no longer dangling moons, but simply crescent moons affixed to her ears. Her choker is now yellow with a red heart. The stripes on her collar are yellow, while the collar itself is dark blue. Her shoulder pads are translucent and shaped more wing-like. The back waist bow is long, white, and billowy. In SuperS, the back bow's length slightly decreased. The top of her skirt is adorned with a yellow belt and duplicate heart-shaped brooch, and the most obvious change by far is her skirt is no longer blue, but white with a yellow and blue border at the bottom.Eternal Sailor Moon: - By the Stars season, almost nothing from Sailor Moon's original fuku remains the same. The tiara is gone, replaced by a crescent moon on her forehead. Her earrings have stars attached to the crescent moons. Her choker is red again, but it has a heart with a crescent moon on the bottom. The collar is now a darker blue with three yellow stripes. Her shoulder pads are large pink puffs with two patches of red fabric (the same as the fabric on the end of any fuku's gloves). The length of her gloves extend to her upper arms, wing-like clips are attached to the gloves, and attached to her wrists are chevron-shaped red bracelets with crescent moons. Gone is the front bow, replaced with a wing-like design similar to the shape of the bow, and in the center is a yellow heart embraced by a crescent moon. Her belt has a thin red ribbon clipped on with a crescent moon. This belt also replaces her back waist bow, and it has two thin red ribbons streaming. Her skirt has three layers - yellow, red, and blue. Her boots are inverted; they are now white, pointing down, with a red border and a crescent moon. She also wears large wings on her back. Some other more subtle differences were the lack of a "chest protector" (so to speak) under the front bow, and the absence of a white waist-belt above the skirt. The only part of her costume that did not change in any form was the odango covers.Powers:Manga: Sailor Moon

RP Sample: Memories of the past!“So we meet again,” came a strong masculine voice from behind a beautifully crafted water fountain. She saw a faceless figure step out from behind the fountain and she felt an immense amount of joy course through her veins. She skipped towards him and jumped into his arms, as he wrapped his heavily armored arms around her, and tightly held on. He lowered his head and planted an affectionate kiss on her willing lips. Breaking apart momentarily, he whispered, “I missed you so much,” he said sweetly as he caressed her cheek and gently placed her feet back onto the ground. She leaned up and gave him a gentle kiss, “I missed you too my Prince,” she said softly as she took in his scent, a mixture of roses and cologne. She tried to make out his facial features but they were blurred. The more she attempted to determine who she was looking at the more her body ached. She tried to say his name but nothing came out except for a muffled scream… which woke her up from her deep sleep, as pain radiated throughout her head. She grabbed her forehead and massaged her temples slightly to try and ease the pain. She flopped back down onto her bed and tried to normalize her breathing. She was drenched in sweat and she felt as though a truck had run her over multiple times. She could feel her heart beating wildly in her chest and she momentarily wondered if she was going to die from a heart attack. She pushed the blankets off of herself and lay there motionless. “What do these dreams mean?” she asked out loud as she turned over to curl into a ball. For weeks she had been having dreams of a distant past that she wasn’t privy to. Flashes of balls, of a Prince and death, plagued her mind, and she had absolutely no explanations for any of it. Ever since she had awakened as Sailor Moon her life had been turned upside down forcing her to leave behind her friends, find new Senshi, fight yoma and search for the Moon Princess. Truth was: it was a lot of pressure. Now that she was having these dreams on a nightly basis she wondered if their Moon Princess was trying to get her attention? She wanted to speak with someone about her dreams but she was already having difficulties with the Senshi trusting her judgement and leadership skills. All they needed was ammo that she was slowly losing her mind. She sighed deeply closing her eyes and tried to calm her nerves. Maybe the dreams were due to extreme fatigue and they would disappear once she slept properly. She scoffed at the idea as that meant she needed the dreams to stop. “Ugh….” she said flopping back onto her back. “It’s such a vicious cycle with no end….” she complained. No one she knew had these types of realistic dreams and she was honestly unsettled by them. She had tried to brush the subject once with Rei but she had just looked at her as if she was crazy. Since that time she decided to keep them to herself, and wondered if anyone would ever understand them. Little did she know that across the city a young man was having the exact same dreams and they were destined to meet and fall in love all over again....
