So I've had an idea floating around in my head:

The responsibility of guarding the solar system has fallen upon the latest generation: the granddaughters and grandsons of the original Senshi. Small Lady is happily married to Helios and the two have peacefully reigned for thousands of years. Her Asteroid senshi still serve as her guardians, however there have been no next generation senshi that have awakened to take their specific positions. Instead, each planet's (Mars, Venus, Jupiter, etc.) royal offspring has awakened as either a senshi or as a knight (male version of a senshi). Being raised together it is now the time for these senshi and knights to learn how to fight to protect their home planets, their solar system, and each other and take up their mantle of senshihood and knighthood. 

There are a few options and things for this roleplay to consider:

1. There could be a Sailor Earth, but the specifics of that could be plotted out in many different ways. For example Kousagi from the AU Naoko Takeuchi created could be involved in this and her child could be Sailor Earth.
   
2. There are technically male senshi involved in this rp whom have been given the title 'knight(s)'. There can be a senshi and a knight for each planet, but because of the large cast that could create it may be narrowed down for now to just a senshi or a knight for each planet. It just depends. 
   
3. There could be more than one child of the Moon royal family. As of right now, I'm thinking two: one which would awaken as Sailor Elysion (my Otaku senshi) and another that is Sailor Moon. Or if people are against a Sailor Elysion, then there is most likely one child or my Otaku senshi could be transitioned into Sailor Earth or something. It's up for discussion. ^^
   
4. Sailor Elysion could be explained in that since whatever child or children Small Lady bears, they are Helios' offspring as well so a Sailor Elysion could naturally result from that pairing.
   

Thoughts anyone? I've tried this rp before on a roleplaying website and it worked out beautifully. Unfortunately I had to close it down because a lot of people had to drop out or couldn't commit fully to it. This could be a relaxed rp or an advanced rp I supposed, depending on what everyone interested wants to reap from it.

I totally want to be part of this! I love the idea and I really think it could be AWESOME!

I might be interested in this. Do you have any more information about your otaku senshi? I'd like to read that first, since you're planning this game to include and feature her.

My otaku senshi? I do have information for her ad I bio I'm constructing. The draft should be ready by tonight. I have cases at uni until 7:15 today so I won't be home until 8-ish. T^T

And I'd be happy to allot play 1-2 Otaku senshi/knights to each participant.
All otaku senshi and lights as well are their own, individual people with unique personalities, abilities, etc of course. But they must be the prince or princess of their respective planet.

Also, what Sailor Senshi (Elysion or Moon) my Otaku Senshi will be heavily depends on if someone would be interested in being another child of Helios and Chibiusa.

I'm also thinking for now, just to see how things go and how that full cast can handle it, that the main cast will consists of just Moon and the inner scouts.

So I read your post about your character, and I'd be interested in creating a character to be the other child--so could you tell me a bit more about what you are envisioning. Is the other child younger or older? Was your character Sailor Moon FIRST and then became Sailor Elysian, or was she Sailor Elysian from the start? Who awakened to their sailor soldier powers first? Who will inherit the throne? Is your character glad to have a sibling, or resentful?

Basically Chiyoko is the eldest by only a year or two. She cherishes her younger sibling--this sibling is the moon and stars to her. Chiyoko was trained to be Sailor Moon first since it was assumed that she was going to awaken as Sailor Moon, but instead the younger sibling awakened not only first, but as Sailor Moon. Because she is no longer Sailor Moon and there has never been a Sailor Elysion before (therefore it doesn't occur to anyone she's just a late bloomer and a different senshi), all of Chiyoko's duties and her way of life has shifted to learning how to run the kingdom and one day inherit the throne. Since she's the eldest she will be queen in the future, and I thought it would be interesting to make it where only the eldest female can inherit the throne. So, even if for some reason the Moon child or children had an elder brother, he wouldn't inherit.

Since her focus has been shifted elsewhere Chiyoko doesn't really realize it, but subconsciously  she harbors a deep rooted jealousy and resentment towards her younger sister and the inner senshi. With her senshidom stripped from her upon her sister's awakening, this resentment has only built upon itself dangerously throughout the years. She wished with all of her heart to be a senshi, and perhaps one day that wish will be fulfilled. It is eventually as Sailor Elysion, but it is not a clearly evident thing that will happen and when it does it takes everyone by surprise.


But, despite that subconcious jealousy and resentment towards her young sibling, Chiyoko truly has always loved her sister. She is the moon and stars to Chiyoko and she'd do anything to protect her. I envision them being relatively close at the very least, or incredibly close.

Yeah I just didn't want to go too overboard with if she had a sister or not, and I was having some difficulty dividing her as an only child and being Sailor Moon vs. being the eldest and being Sailor Elysian. Frankly I was lazy and didn't want to make two profiles. X3

Hehe I also realized just now that I spelled Elysian as Elysion (aka incorrectly) in my username. How sad T^T haha.

Well, technically it's Elysium so it's all good. XD I think Elysion is the preferred Sailor Moon-universe spelling anyway. I keep writing Elysian because of the phrase "Elysian Fields" when referring to the Greek "Elysium."

Also, I wonder if your note about Sailor Elysion's secret jealousy could be used by a villain. Eh eh. Seems ripe for Chaos to take advantage of.

Actually for the one time I used her, my friend and I had it where Chiyoko was incredibly manipulated and, before she became Sailor Elysion, that deep rooted jealousy and resentment at having her senshidom as Sailor Moon "stolen" from her is used to manipulate and taint Chiyoko. She's made into an evil senshi before she truly is saved and awakened as her true self, Sailor Elysion. Chaos, or any old or new enemy like that could totally manipulate the crap out of her-- not that she's stupid or naiive. But more manipulated on a Black Lady level but with more power.

I was thinking that perhaps that jealousy could act as a catalyst to summon Chaos from its scattered state. I really like the general Sailor Moon comment that Chaos exists in the hearts of everyone; that it belongs there, because there's a little bit of darkness in all of us. Perhaps when the darkness starts to slowly take over in a heart like Chiyoko's, who has a connection to a strong crystal, it gives power to Chaos and allows it to gather itself. I think that considering what you've established of her personality, it would be very upsetting for her to learn that she was responsible in some way for the return of an evil force. It would be something she'd have to come to terms with and overcome. It might be a little bit less overdone and dramatic than giving her an evil alter-ego. Possibly Chaos could conjure up a "shadow self" that Chiyoko has to defeat? Something similar to the mirror illusions that Nehellenia put the sailor soldiers up against, but more developed.

I've started preliminary work on the younger sister character idea, and I'd be curious to know what you think and if there's anything you'd like me to change or rework. I really enjoy collaborative projects, so I'm happy to incorporate aspects of what you envision for the character if you've got it. I've been inspired by just a random assortment of stuff in my head. XD

Oooh! I like that idea much better. I've seen all of Sailor Moon and read all of the manga, but it's been awhile and I'm slowly re-watching the anime again. I haven't gotten to Nehellenia yet so it's good that you remember the specifics of that. C: It definitely ties into Chiyoko's personality more, and when creating conflict you always want to find ways to hurt your character(s). This'll definitely hurt Chiyoko more than becoming a brainwashed 'senshi'/villain, and I'm glad you saw that since I missed it.

I'd love to see anything you come up with for your character! Right now I can't think of anything I'd like to you to include besides, perhaps, them being close. But besides that feel free to make the character you want to make! :> But I totally agree with you and I love collaborative projects. I feel that they help me way better than just making everything on my own. Plus it helps to keep everything blended well.

In the anime and manga the "shadow" versions are very brief, usually just a "this is the life you could have if you turn your back on being a sailor soldier," and they are defeated quickly. I was thinking it could be something more long-lived. It could represent her insecurities and doubts, and would only be something she could defeat and get rid of when she learned to accept that part of herself, etc.

I've got a Sailor Moon WIP here, I'm filling it in little by little. I figured I might as well use the RP profile so I don't have to reformat to the RP profile later.

Yeah, I really like that idea. It makes sense and it's also a character builder for her.

So I'm going to get to working on Chiyoko's profile and incorporating the great critique. It may take awhile since I can't devote large chunks of time to it right now (thanks to work and school), but it should be done soon. Feel free to add or suggest anything additional if you like. ^^

I also think it might be a good idea to start brainstorming the villains. Those new sailor soldiers and/or knights need someone to fight, after all. :3

I think it would make sense for the villain to be Chaos in the way that all of the Sailor Moon villains are Chaos in some form. It could be that the small scattered parts of Chaos that lurk in the hearts of mankind have been strengthening themselves and regrouping. Maybe minor villains could be humans who have been corrupted and granted powers to spread corruption? It's Chaos taking advantage of a person's weaknesses and promising them that they can overcome those weaknesses easily, with evil, instead of actually developing and maturing as a person. (This would play into a shadow clone-type of Sailor Elysion, as well.) The more those people allow Chaos to have control, the more corrupt they become and the more complete Chaos is. Chaos could push the corrupted people towards doing things they wouldn't normally chose because of societal norms or courtesy, etc. but suddenly it's less intimidating to take the easy way out and act in ways that are "bad."

Yeah I'll probably put the changes in an easy to read, different color. ^^ I'll say something when I've put it all up.

Hmm I like the Chaos idea. Perhaps it can start with ordinary people, but I think there should definitely be some group w/ or without a leader that emerges. For example, in another rp I did my Sailor Mars is helping to fight of gangs that have arisen that are youma-ized. But they are only so because of an influence of an enemy that has come along and concealed itself for the time being. Chaos' influence could easily be tied into that.

I'm sure Chaos could initially leech power from a handful of discontented rebels or something and those would form a group. There have to be minor villains. They could then, in the tradition of Sailor Moon villains, learn how to change objects or normal people into monsters that need vanquishing or healing.
