Xavier is alone in the clearing. He stashes his items in the Cornucopia for now, and goes around collecting the other random items, keeping a careful eye on the surroundings.

Cere examines the contents of her pack. She's relieved for the fishing gear because now she doesn't have to worry about going hungry. She knows that she needs some ointment though because the wound is still bleeding profusely. She knows even though that she has right gear that it won't matter if she bleeds to death. She knows that the sponsors are all watching and hopes for a care package soon. Cere notices a large leaf above her and grabs it, placing pressure on the wound hoping the bleeding will stop. She decides she needs to eat something to keep her strength up, so she opens one of the rations of food and eats it. She then washes it down with a bottle of water. She knows she will eventually have to come out of the tree and find fresh water soon.

Champion Thunder makes his way to the sponsors lounge. Entering, he makes his way to the small half circle of comfy chairs in the corner where two sponsors are seated, watching the games on the monitors. "Hello Senshirei, Natasha, how are you enjoying the games so far? How about that Cere, eh? She got a good mix of supplies in her bag and a decent weapon to start off with. She's a real contender right now. But there's one thing in her way right now, that cut on her arm. She's currently in need of ointment and gauze, I'm sure you can see that she is a tribute worth preserving right now, yes? What say you to sparing the cash for her?"

Mercury_Viola sips her tea in the sponsors lounge. "Thunder, I am deeply offended by you leaving me out of your conversation. Do you want a cookie?"

Rei shifts her glance from the monitors to look at Champion Thunder. She is familiar with this Champion, of course, and is well aware of what he is trying to do here. "Yes, hello, it has indeed been entertaining so far! So many down already. However, I'm not settled on any of the Tributes so far, try as you might to persuade me that Cere is the sure-fire winner already."

Thunder turns, smiling. "Why mercury, I don't know how I missed your ravishing face in this room. Of course I will have a cookie. And to you, what say you to my request?"

Mercury_Viola passes SenshiRei a cookie. "I agree with you, and I'm not going to be willing to agree with ThunderDome, since he forgot that I exist"

Rei accepts the cookie, but simply holds it in her hand. "Thank you, Mercury_Viola. I have to say, I am impressed with the speed and enthusiasm in which he's approached us - he certainly earns brownie points for that!" She let out a tinkling laugh and smiled sweetly at Thunder, gently mocking him.

Thunder sighs, his smile remains however. "I can see I am at your mercy dear ladies. However, my tribute is not getting any healthier, I must ask that you hasten your decisions. Cere is a tough contender, she has what it takes if you only give her the chance."
