Hello my lovely party planners!  

Another event is upon us, but not until September 10th. That gives us a little more than 3 weeks to plan for her birthday celebration.

If you have any suggestions that could be specially tailored to honoring Ami for the event, please do share your idea with us so we can see if we can make it a reality for the event!

If you have something in mind you want to host, please post here what it is you want to post.

Thank you guys again for being my party planners ^^ I and GC both wholeheartedly thank you. We appreciate the efforts you make to help with these little events and help give the forum fun things for members to partake in.

 

A couple ideas I have in mind for this event is an "intense" exam for participants to take, made up of Sailor Moon questions of course. The advert for her birthday could be "Prepare to Study!"

And perhaps...a read off. Depending on how long this event will be (the exact time is pending), we can have a contest to see who can read the most books in a span of the birthday celebration. Or something along those lines. Maybe not books, like novels...maybe fanfictions or something.

Edit: Perhaps a redo of the 5 Word Story game with maybe a little more guidelines and unf to help it move smoothly and actually conclude.

Perhaps the writing guild's popcorn game can make a special "outside of the guild" appearance as well...

On the topic of a fanfiction, I was thinking of a specific fanfiction specifically about Ami. She did get her own movie after all, so it's similar in that sense. The story could go on about anything. Could be her first day of school, what sparked her desire to be a doctor like her mother, etc.

I would like to host a puzzle game if it's at all OK. Or maybe do a quote game again. and yes I like those Ideas to Mars they were great.

I'd def like to help, what about something like brain teasers/riddles? Although the quiz sounds fun! There could be separate quizzes for anime, manga etc?

Jupiter, Popcorn Writing is when people volunteer to take a part of a story - the characters are the same for everyone but each person may be given a genre and everyone writes like 500 words of the middle of a story (and one person writes beginning, one writes end). No one knows what anyone else is writing and then at the end you put all the bits together and it makes a silly, nonsensical story. It's fun! ^^

It looks like this party planning hasn't taken off yet.

I can host some special guess the song rounds if wanted . I could also host a coloring contest if nobody has anything against it.

Tsuki -- yes, do a coloring contest! And guess the song if you'd like. I imagine there has to be a decent amount of Ami-esque songs...

Luna -- you can do hangman, sure. If you have any other ideas for word-related games, do suggest them. We'd love to hear them ^^

SenshiRei -- no ideas? Nothing in particular you wanna run? You can do riddles, if you want.

Fanfics may work. Maybe Ami related one-shots and see who can read the most? They have to provide little summaries of the story to prove it though (that's the only way I think I can think of to prove it). And of course, must be GC appropriate (sorry, no smut).

There could be a sig/icon/av contest themed to Ami, if anyone wants to take it. Someone wants to host a card making contest again, which I think is adorable and people seem to like it.

Also! I notice we always have at least two of the same people chiming in to run the writing contest. Mi has been hosting the writing contests regularly, HOWEVER, I will let you three work it out nicely among yourselves (in PM) and get back to me on who is actually going to run the writing contest. This is to be fair.

And we can possibly have a chess competition, Mi. I will see about looking into it, unless you already know of something we can use for the game.
