|  Main RP (Round One) The Sailor Quartet came into themselves well into the era of peace in Crystal Tokyo, the Neo-Silver Millennium. They awoke after the Black Moon threat and, while they did appear at Sagittarius Zero Star to see the end and the beginning of the Galaxy Cauldron and Eternal Sailor Moon’s fight against Galaxia and Chaos, they didn’t actually get to do much of the fighting. They find themselves in an era without need for senshi, with the previous generation of guardians around and completely capable of dealing with any evil force that enters the Solar System. … all and all, they don’t know where they fit. They were revived by Neo Queen Serenity to help fight, but there is nothing to fight. They feel lost and useless in this future, simply biding their time with lessons until they find some overall purpose. Meanwhile, during the Summit of Leaders in Crystal Tokyo, Jupiter is called to Castle Io by guardian Jupiter to deal with a new issue… The Galilean Knights, four young men charged with the protection of Princess Jupiter, awaken for the first time since the Silver Millennium, younger and less experienced then they remember being, and accompany Eternal Sailor Jupiter to Earth to train under her, alongside the Sailor Quartet, to regain their former prowess. The four have a driving need to protect and fight evil, and so have been tagged as “foster senshi,” to be part of the program Princess Kakyuu put in place for the planets that have yet to have guardian senshi reborn after the fight against Galaxia. Once their training is complete, they will be sent off to a planet in need of their services, and while it is an exciting prospect, the teenagers are unsure as to their true feelings about the situation. Will the two teams ever work together coherently? ---------------------------------------------- Eventual Sometime-in-the-future Plotline: Some time into the joint training of the Quartet and Knights, a small disturbance in Central America calls for the presence of Sailor Senshi and the senshi-in-training beg to be sent there, to prove that they can take care of problems for themselves. The request was granted, but when they arrive, what was thought to be a simple uprising of an immoral leader turns out to be the embodiment of the blood-thirsty gods of the ancient Olmec and Aztec mythology. Trapped in a sacred pyramid in the middle of a long-forgotten forest, the Quartet and Knights must work together and pull from all aspects of their training to survive and conquer this evil… and save the world. ----------------------------------------- Playable characters: (Click for their suggested attacks and other information) Sailor Quartet - Sailor Ceres:

She had round white puffed sleeves with two strips of white fabric attached to the bottom. Her gloves went up to her upper arms, and were edged with three strips of pink fabric. Her back bow was light pink. Her boots were knee-high and white, and had a pink V-shaped border with a five-pointed star at the top. Her tiara gem was a pink five-pointed star and her earrings were round and pink. Attacks "Ceres Growth Burst!" - In this attack, seeds under Sailor Ceres control sprout and grow into carnivorous plants. They can vary in size, shape, and tactical use (from the giant Venus fly trap to tiny, strangling vines). Sailor Ceres can also work with Sailor Juno to summon forth a seedling that can be digested as an antidote to Juno's poison dart attack. As the poison is very potent, the antidote is only effective for 10 minutes. "Amazoness Jungle Arrow!" - Sailor Ceres can join with other members of the Sailor Quartet to unleash a volley of terrifying arrows. "Pink Lady Freezing Kiss!" - a combination attack made with Sailor Chibi Moon and the Sailor Quartet. Very powerful.

Name: PallaPalla Apparent Age: 14 Personality ... Senshi Name: Sailor Pallas Role: Member of the Sailor Quartet Guardian Celestial Body: Pallas, asteroid. Symbol:  Costume Her choker, collar, and skirt were light blue and the center of her darker blue front bow was a light blue five-pointed star. She had round white puffed sleeves with two strips of white fabric attached to the bottom. Her gloves went up to her upper arms, and were edged with three strips of light blue fabric. Her back bow was a pale blue. Her boots were knee-high and white, and had a light blue V-shaped border with a five-pointed star at the top. Her tiara gem was a blue five-pointed star and her earrings were round and blue. Attacks "Pallas Forceful ____" (either Control, Full-Stop, or Ooze). Sailor Pallas, a master of magic from her time as PallaPalla in the Amazon Quartet, has various attacks. Forceful Control allows Sailor Ceres to control an enemy as a marionette would a puppet. Forceful Full-Stop can halt one enemy in its place. Both Control and Full-Stop are conditional attacks, and only last so long as Ceres maintains total eye-contact with her subject. Unlike the others, Forceful Ooze covers the target in a sticky substance that restricts movement (no eye contact required). "Amazoness Jungle Arrow!" - Sailor Pallas can join with other members of the Sailor Quartet to unleash a volley of terrifying arrows. Name: VesVes Apparent Age: 15 Personality: Vesta is the youngest of four sisters and is "the tamer of beasts". She holds power of sacred flame and uses a whip as her weapon. - her former player wrote:
- She stands tall - only her eldest sister, Ceres, stands taller - and she is nearly as tan as Juno. Vesta has an athletic body, taking great joy from sport and competitive pursuits. She enjoys the simple pleasures of life - eating yummy snacks, quietly studying, spending time outdoors and with animals. Her dislike of technology in general leads to a fear of almost phobic proportions.
Because of her position in the family, she always wants to prove herself. She tends to act without thinking, just so she can be first. Known for having a temper more fierce than Ceres'; however, she doesn't hold grudges and the flame goes out nearly as quickly as its ignited She has a tough, arrogant and sarcastic exterior - often insulting others with her speech and is quick to place blame. She's the least likely to follow the teams directions (does not like authority) and almost always disobeys her orders. There are moments, though, when her hard mask will falter and her true feelings shine through. Despite actions and attitudes suggesting otherwise, she treasures her sisters and cannot imagine her life without them. She is easily ashamed when emotional and will often use anger as a blanket emotion to burn those around her before dealing with own issues privately.
As a fighter, her abilities and paradigm align well with her overall persona. She employs a whip to keep her enemies at a distance, relying on speed and a quick wit to make her opponent vulnerable. Fire, the element of passion, is known to overtake all else - acting quick and reducing all it touches to ash. Sailor Vesta is a protector type - often acting with haste and at great risk to self. She tends to be self-sacrificial in the eleventh hour. Senshi Name: Sailor Vesta Role: Member of the Sailor Quartet Guardian Celestial Body: Vesta, asteroid of the Solar asteroid belt Symbol:  Costume: Her choker, collar, and skirt are red and the center of her black front bow was a red five-pointed star. She has round white puffed sleeves with two strips of white fabric attached to the bottom. Her gloves go up to her upper arms, and were edged with three strips of red fabric. Her back bow is light red. Her boots are knee-high and white, and have a red V-shaped border with a five-pointed star at the top. Her tiara gem is a red five-pointed star and her earrings are small red studs. Weapon: Sailor Vesta has a physical weapon: a whip. While in civilian form, Vesves carries a crop whip; when she transforms, the handle morphs into the handle of an Italian rapier. Solo Attacks: "Vesta Steel Daggers" - Sailor Vesta summons firelight daggers, durable as steel and sharp as a samurai's sword. These daggers form down the length of her whip, creating a textured surface akin to the skin of a shark. As Vesta cracks her whip, the handle-less blades are fired at the enemy; the daggers have a projectile range of over 100 yards, and the force of their dead-on impact can shear through bones. Upon impact, the daggers disappear into the ether, their energy returning to Vesta. Group Attacks: "Amazoness Jungle Arrow!" - Sailor Vesta can join with other members of the Sailor Quartet to unleash a volley of terrifying arrows. Name: JunJun Apparent Age: 14 Personality ... Senshi Name: Sailor Juno Role: Member of the Sailor Quartet Guardian Celestial Body: Juno Symbol:  Costume Her choker, collar, and skirt were green and the center of her brown front bow was a green five-pointed star. She had round white puffed sleeves with two strips of white fabric attached to the bottom. Her gloves went up to her upper arms, and were edged with three strips of green fabric. Her back bow was light green. Her boots were knee-high and white, and had a green V-shaped border with a five-pointed star at the top. Her tiara gem was a green five-pointed star and her earrings were green hoops. Attacks "Juno Poison Darts!" - Sailor Juno can manifest this ability in two ways; the first is as expected by the phrase - she can direct poisonous darts into her targets, so long as she can see the target - but she can also manifest her attack in the form of a poisonous miasma that fills the room. As Juno can summon poison, she is immune to her particular brand and she can call forth the antidote. Working with Sailor Ceres, she can create a seedling to be digested by her fellow senshi that will keep them immune, but, as the poison is particularly potent, the antidote is only effective for a 10 minute span of time. "Amazoness Jungle Arrow!" - Sailor Juno can join with other members of the Sailor Quartet to unleash a volley of terrifying arrows. Galilean Knights- Callisto:
Name: Callisto Apparent Age: 16 Appearance Can be reworded after adoption medium height, black hair, gray eyes. Personality Callisto is a serious person who often doesn't quite grasp sarcasm and subtle jokes, or chooses not to react to them as intended. His general aura is one of calm and cold calculation: he is prone to over-thinking situations, trying to see from every angle, understand every motive and every possible chain of action, but while this gives him foresight unmatched by other tacticians, he does tend to overcomplicate matters. This foresight, however, has made him the leader of the Galilean Knights, for when he makes a decision, more often than not he ends up on top in the end. As he developed this multiple-perspective mind of his has increased in speed and now he doesn’t hesitate when sending his teammates forward; like a master of chess, he is confident in his moves as he is confident in his mind. Callisto trusts his teammates implicitly, knowing who they are, recognizing their strengths and pushing them to become better. However, since rebirth he doesn’t quite count them as friends. Companions, colleagues, partners, sure. Friends...? Callisto doesn’t quite believe he needs friends; he’s quite capable on his own and isn’t so emotional enough as to need someone to lean on. His sense of humor is near nonexistent, his hobbies include people-watching, reading, and training; he enjoys the company of others, but, again, doesn’t find them absolutely necessary to find contentment in his life. However, while he might not feel much emotional attachment to them, he is incredibly loyal towards his team. They trust him, he trusts them, and he believes that trust comes with a responsibility to keep them safe. No one messes with his team and escapes clean. His faults lie mostly in the interpersonal department. He’s great with being in charge – with making decisions and directing people – but actually getting along with people? Not so much. He subconsciously compares himself to every new person he meets, measuring their intelligence, skills, and knowledge subtly and almost always finding himself superior, and so deeming them as not deserving his respect or his time. The only people immune to his writing-off are his team; he knows their strengths and respects them for it, he’s fought with them and for them. All others are viewed as walking talking idiots, to be dealt with only as long as necessary. … and maybe studied for their curious behavior. His speech pattern is formal and to-the-point, great for reporting to supervisors and issuing orders, but not so much for getting closer to people. Knight Name: Callisto Role: Leader of the Galilean Knights Guardian Celestial Body: Callisto, the farthest of the Galilean moons of Jupiter. Callisto is covered in dark sand and bright craters, looking like a jewel. Astronomical Symbol:  Uniform Light armor: Titanium chest-plate, gauntlets and shin guards. Sports a half-cape, the back of which is black, the front a dark purple. His large belt, made of ornately wrought titanium, is fastened with a dark amethyst disk. A rough-hewn circlet around his head has a strip of amethyst in the center, keeping his black hair out of his eyes. Weapon of Choice: Chakram Attacks "Callisto Encroaching Darkness" - causes concealment when ranged. When used with contact with the target, a single touch imbues the target with sightlessness and a deep and terrifying paranoia. Can drive the target insane with fear. ((Directed attack only available through training)) "Primary Four Protective Field" - the Galilean Knights can combine to create a bubble-like force field around their target, be it friend or foe.
- Ganymede:
Name: Ganymede Apparent Age: 16 Appearance Can be reworded after adoption Very tall for his age (5'9"), thick brown hair, hazel eyes. Muscular, but not overly-so. Personality Ganymede is a jokester at heart. He's very mischievous and loves to play pranks on his friends. He will also tease people to their limits. Knight Name: Ganymede Role: Galilean Knight Guardian Celestial Body: Ganymede, the largest moon orbiting Jupiter. Astronomical Symbol:  Uniform Light armor: Titanium chest-plate, gauntlets and shin guards. Sports a half-cape, the back of which is black, the front a deep emerald green. His large belt, made of ornately wrought titanium, is fastened with an emerald disk. A rough-hewn circlet around his head has a strip of emerald in the center, pushing his thick brown hair up and away from his face. Weapon of Choice: Large War Hammer, hedged in green with the Ganymede symbol etched in its main face. Attacks "Ganymede Fissure Punch!" - causes cracks in the ground when punched (also very effective when punching a target). Can be directed to create giant fissures and miniature earthquakes, knocking targets off balance and into the pits he created. ((Second part only available through training)) "Primary Four Protective Field" - the Galilean Knights can combine to create a bubble-like force field around their target, be it friend or foe.
- Europa:
Name: Europa Apparent Age: 16 Appearance Can be reworded after adoption Medium height, slight build; Silky platinum blond hair and icy blue eyes. Personality Europa, remembering the most about the silver millennium, has a special reverence for both Neo Queen Serenity and Eternal Sailor Jupiter and holds the other inner senshi in highest esteem. He's bright, has a strong sense of duty, and a weakness for puns. Despite embodying the iciest moon in the Solar system, once one gets past his cool exterior, Europa is a heartwarming and supportive friend. additional comments and traits to be added by Europa's adoptive player. **Super special note: Princess Small Lady Serenity may or may not have a crush on Europa ^.~. Knight Name: Europa Role: Galilean Knight Guardian Celestial Body: Europa, the second smallest and second closest moon of Jupiter that sports a hard, icy exterior with an ocean beneath. Astronomical Symbol:  Uniform Light armor: Titanium chest-plate, gauntlets and shin guards. Sports a half-cape, the back of which is black, the front a light light blu. His large belt, made of ornately wrought titanium, is fastened with a blue turquoise disk. A rough-hewn circlet around his head has a strip of turqoise in the center, keeping his platinum blond hair pushed away from his face. Weapon of Choice: Attacks "Europa Frozen Storm" - a hail storm, with softball-sized hail and snow that obscures vision. This attack can be redirected to a single target, which, given enough time, can freeze that target solid. (( second attack option only available with training)) "Primary Four Protective Field" - the Galilean Knights can combine to create a bubble-like force field around their target, be it friend or foe.
- Io:
Name: Io Apparent Age: 15 Appearance Short (5'2"), dirty blond hair, dark red eyes, pale skin. Lithe in muscular build. Personality Io has a bit of an inferiority complex; being the shortest of the bunch, he is often mistaken for being weak or incapable and overcompensates by being extremely hot-headed and argumentative. Knight Name: Io Role: Galilean Knight Guardian Celestial Body: Io: the volcanic closest moon to Jupiter, the smallest of the Galilean moons and the one most affected by Jupiter's gravitational field. Astronomical Symbol:  Uniform Light armor: Titanium chest-plate, gauntlets and shin guards. Sports a half-cape, the back of which is black, the front an orange-red. His large belt, made of ornately wrought titanium, is fastened with a fire-ruby disk. A rough-hewn circlet around his head has a strip of fire-ruby in the center, pushing his blond hair up and out of his face. Weapon of Choice: Rapier Attacks "Io Molten Rapier!" - Io's sword glows red hot; when it strikes an opponent it can burn and rend flesh. This attack can be redirected to create hot pockets in the surrounding area, often melting areas on the floor to create a trap. ((only available after training with Mars)) "Primary Four Protective Field" - the Galilean Knights can combine to create a bubble-like force field around their target, be it friend or foe.

"Earlier you had mentioned difficulties amidst peace talks in Central America; please, Administer Juarez," Jupiter pronounced the name with little difficulty – as much a victory for her as it was for her Spanish tutor - "would you elaborate?"
Juarez, a middle-aged man of Latino descent, was new to court and fresh in his position, though not, she read, new to both battle and politics. It was the slight scar on his face and the calluses in his handshake that told her the former; his silver tongue, the latter. He was good looking… at one time, she would have immediately thought of her old boyfriend… but that was years ago, of course. Though he did look a little like an actor she had seen in an old American movie from back in the early 21st century… Woops, he was talking.
"—and the officials are considering placing militia forces there as a cautionary measure. Of course, they do not foresee any major disturbances, but they did wish I bring it to your attention, less the situation requires greater restraints be placed upon the populace. They know, as do their people, the value in the peace and freedom found under the rule of Neo-Queen Serenity," at this point he smiled – wow was he a charmer! "not to mention her beautiful Secretary of Defense and Protection." His brown eyes were practically oozing charisma…
'Wake up, Jupiter!' she mentally slapped herself into a response after two or three seconds of sticky silence. "Thank you for your consideration, Administer," she nodded her head, both in appreciation and in dismissal. He smiled brilliantly and bowed before turning, his court half-cape whirling dreamily as he exited the assembly room's doors.
She knew what Venus would be saying right now… and doing: Suggestive looks, doe-eyes and winking – Scout of Love? More like scout of prodding-people-towards-relationships-for-the-sake-of-amusement! Jupiter smiled, remembering a conversation not long ago when Mars accused a meddling Venus of being more an Eros than an Aphrodite. … Though it would be nice to have a little romance… Venus did seem so happy with that Northern Europe representative – Frey, was it? That tall, fair skinned blonde with the long braid that enjoys teasing almost as much as she does… Frey… or something else Norwegian.
Jupiter placed her personal clipboard on the front table for a secretary to gather and compile and reached for her schedule book for the day. "Two meetings down… looks like I'm free until dinner," she said to no one in particular – herself, really, as the room was quite empty. "I wonder what the others are up to? Probably trying to lay low – the feast and ball last night was insane," she continued, murmuring to herself at a level barely above a whisper. Yesterday had been the start of the Semiannual Summit, a conference wherein representatives of every major territory not usually in attendance at court came to Crystal Tokyo to catch the capital up on the current events around the world. It was exciting to see such collaboration between so many different cultures, but after the two-week long series of meetings and events, a break from the multitude of people balanced out the feeling of loss when they all went home.
Such meetings were getting easier, especially with genius Mercury working with her team on teleportation units. Jupiter smiled – what a girl! Doctor/surgeon turned scientist-relativistic physicist! After completing her medicinal doctorate and practicing and perfecting the art for years, she took an interest in Eternal Sailor Moon's tale of how she, Sailor Kakyuu and the Salor Starlights flew through space to Sagittarius Zero Star in much less time than it took for light to travel the same distance. Since then, she, Sailor Pluto, and even King Endymion (on occasion) would hold long theoretical talks about dimension bending – or something like that. Mercury was still in love with helping people and curing illnesses, but there weren't many challenges in medicine anymore, especially after she opened her University of Medicine (which has been pumping out savvy doctors and miraculous cures ever since it opened, helped in its research by the new flora and fauna being categorized from all corners of the earth). Mercury and Pluto were probably at it now, joined by other great minds that were invited to the Summit for the very subject under study.
Perhaps Mars would be free and willing to do something? As Secretary of War she shouldn't have too many meetings, not with the current political atmosphere, anyway. Jupiter pulled out her communicator and had her finger hovering over the "contact" button when she heard someone calling her name.
"Princess Jupiter…"
'Princess Jupiter?' she thought it odd to be addressed as such – these days, she was usually referred to as 'Sailor Jupiter' or 'Miss Secretary,' or even 'Secretary of Protection,' in the most formal of cases – but she hadn't been called 'Princess Jupiter' since…
Since they channeled their energy to defeat Nehelenia – her guardian, Jupiter Guardian, had addressed her as such. "Guardian Jupiter?"
"Princess Jupiter!" the voice replied, her voice stronger than before. "Princess Jupiter, your presence is requested here, at Io Castle! You must come, please!"
Io Castle? She hadn't visited there since the Silver Millennium when Queen Serenity gifted it to her at her birth, as the Queen had done with all of the guardian scouts. Why was she needed? Was there a problem?
She pressed her communicator quickly, "Mars! I've been called home. If you don't hear from me in one hour, alert the others. If something made it past the Outer planets…"
"Go!" was the immediate response as Mars' voice echoed through the device.
Jupiter closed her eyes and concentrated; holding her hands cupped in front of her, she summoned forth her Crystal transformation stick. It had been a long time since she had had to use it – she hoped none of her friends would have to use theirs like this at all in the near future. With a wave of static electricity and the air suddenly smelling of fresh rose blossoms, her transformation item appeared before her and fell into her open palms. Gripping the stick, she held it aloft and yelled, "Jupiter Crystal Power!"
In a wash of lightning and roses, Eternal Sailor Jupiter took a deep breath and willed herself home, to Io Castle on Jupiter.
When she opened her eyes she found herself in a white marbled hall, green veins of malachite winding their way through the soft ivory stone. Plants were everywhere, their vines hanging from baskets and their flowers perfuming the air with smells so light and luscious Sailor Jupiter could not help but breathe deeply and smile. As she let out that first breath, a miniature version of herself appeared. She opened her hands for her Guardian to stand upon.
"Princess, I'm so glad you came!" the guardian smiled and the tension in Sailor Jupiter's heart melted away. The relief was evident, and the tiny guardian quickly apologized, "I'm sorry I worried you, Princess, but this was most unexpected – "
There was a great noise from a corridor off of the main hallway, and the guardian turned and grasped the tips of Sailor Jupiter's cupped fingers. She followed the guardian's gaze just as a short dark-blonde boy spilled out into the courtroom of Io Castle. He appeared to be a young teenager, probably between 13 and 15 years old, judging by his build. The lad had literally spilled out of the hallway, landing on his backside facing away from her.
"You're gonna regret that!" the blonde proclaimed heatedly as he bounced back up off the floor.
"Really? And who's going to make me? Surely not a shrimp like you," a much taller teenager declared, stepped out into the hall with his hands planted firmly on his hips.
'What is going on?'Sailor Jupiter wondered.
"Boys!" Jupiter Guardian yelled sharply, calling their attention. The tall brown-haired boy looked up and immediately dropped down into a kneeling position, the hand opposite his raised knee in a fist on the floor to support his weight. The smaller blond boy was slower to turn, but dropped just as quickly into the exact same position when he caught sight of them. They were joined quickly by two others who emerged from the corridor.
"Princess Jupiter!" said one of the boys who had recently emerged. He had black hair, but that was just about all she could tell about him from this angle.
Thinking quickly, Sailor Jupiter briskly walked towards them, stopping about ten feet away, and said "Thank you. Please, rise," a phrase she had heard Neo-Queen Serenity use on several occasions.
The boys did as she requested. All four, though different in build and appearance, were wearing outfits so similar they could only be uniforms. Each had a half-cape stemming from clasps set on their shoulders and were adorned with metallic plated chest armor, gauntlets on forearm and shin, and a belt fastened with ornate, different colored disks. All in all, the effect was similar to what Endymion had worn as a prince in the Silver Millennium… there was no way… Sailor Jupiter found herself smiling. These boys looked so serious right now! The face of the boy with black hair was downright solemn, his gray eyes boring into hers as if he had the world on his shoulders and only she had the power to take it off. The differences in their outfits was mainly in color, with each of them representing a different hue – the dirty-blonde, orange-red; the brunette, a deep emerald green; the third boy, with blue eyes and platinum-blonde hair, a shade of turquoise blue; the black haired boy, dark purple.
"Princess, we are your top soldiers, the Primary Four!" the black-haired boy proclaimed, saluting her by placing his hand over his heart and performing a half-bow. The others quickly did the same, the short blonde boy last.
"My top soldiers, eh?" Jupiter questioned, "you look a little young…" she was only teasing, but that short one took the bait.
"YOUNG? WHO ARE YOU CALLING YOUNG?" he challenged, his red eyes blazing as he promptly stepped forward, only to be dragged back by the blue-eyed one of the bunch.
"Princess, we were reborn only a short time ago, I apologize for our current appearance, and for Io's outburst," the black haired boy requested, still in a perfect salute.
"Yeah, you've gotta excuse Shorty here," the tall brunette said jokingly, "Short on temper, short on patience, short on wits, short on height—"
"YOU SHUT UP!" Io growled, straining against the hold of the third boy in an attempt to reach his mocker.
"Enough boys, enough!" Sailor Jupiter laughed. The name Io cinched it – she had had an inkling about their identity before, with their number and her involvement, but there was little doubt in her mind now. These boys must be the guardians of the four giant moons of Jupiter – the Galilean moons, as they had been referred to on Earth. That they were boys while the moons were named after mostly females was semi-amusing, but then, her planet was named after the most promiscuous and powerful male god of them all, so given titles were nothing to judge someone on.
At her command, the boys straightened immediately, returning to a salute (Io as well, though grudgingly this time).
"Princess Jupiter, these are the guardians of—" Jupiter Guardian began, but she nodded her head and interrupted.
"The four moons – Io, Europa, Ganymede and Callisto,"
The platinum blonde boy smiled, "The princess is most wise!"
-err.. or a good guesser…. From what she knew about the makeup of the moons, she took a stab at their identities. "Thank you, Europa," she guessed; by the look on his face, she was right – Europa was bright and icy, similar to his hair and eyes. The tallest must be Ganymede, as it was the biggest moon, which meant the black-haired apparent leader was Callisto, which made sense as the moon was covered in fine black sand.
"But is the Princess strong?"
That was the only warning Sailor Jupiter had before Ganymede charged her. Tossing Jupiter guardian upwards for safety, she sidestepped the charge, caught his outstretched hand and kneed the boy in the stomach, using what was left of his momentum to flip him onto his back. It had happened in a fraction of a second and she was quite impressed with her reaction time, especially so long after she had had to use it; the boys were apparently impressed as well.
Io stood with his mouth agape, Europa stared at her as if stunned, and Callisto looked shocked at the entire scene. Woops – had she overdone it? They were only teenagers…
"That settles it," Ganymede proclaimed breathlessly, with a hint of a groan behind his words, "Can we train under you?"
"What?" she asked, now completely confused. Was this what Jupiter Guardian had called her for?
"Frankly, Princess, we were thinking we would be protecting you, as we did when you were very young in the Silver Millennium," Europa explained, "but your time as a full-fledged Sailor Soldier has put you far beyond our current skills. It used to be that your older cousin," he nodded towards the still floor-bound Ganymede, "would easily overpower you, but we see now that it really was our mistake. Please, Jupiter Guardian has told us so much since our awakening, about your struggles on Earth and the rise of the Neo-Silver Millennium under the rule of the Moon Princess, Little Serenity. Out here we are no good – our powers wasted as there are no kingdoms out here to protect. We thought we would ask to resume our positions of the Silver Millennium, but quite frankly we are completely unnecessary. Could we then train under you, and serve the new Queen to keep the peace on the beautiful blue planet?"
Sailor Jupiter reeled under the inflow of new information about the past – she had had her own guardians? She didn't remember any guardians… but then, the memories of her past life were fuzzy and hazy up until she took up full-time residence in the Moon Kingdom and met her friends. It was possible that these four (an older version of those four? Io seemed to think he should be much older…) were who they claimed to be.
"How much do you remember about the Silver Millennium?" she asked.
"Admittedly, not much," Callisto said. "Of us all, it is only Europa who truly remembers."
"Yeah, I would have never guessed we were related, otherwise," Ganymede said, having picked himself up off the floor.
Related? … now that she really looked at him, their hair shade was just a few degrees off, their eyes similar colors… heck, she had acted just as he had on a few occasions before she had met Usagi back in the 20th century… But she had had an older cousin? She looked to Jupiter Guardian, who floated back down to eye level and simply nodded in affirmation.
Well, this was a little much. "Well, er… thanks for telling me. I'm sorry, but what was it that you wanted again?"
"To go back with you to Earth!" Io exclaimed, "I bet there's still tons of evil down there! I would love to test my mettle against anything you can throw at me!" he drew his thin rapier from its sheath, and (after mumbling something under his breath), flame erupted down its length.
'tons of evil down there,' huh? Was he making a pass at their abilities? Sailor Jupiter put a hand on her hip and tilted her head to the side with a half smile on her face.
"Um… er, not to infer that the place is overrun with turmoil…" Io sheepishly corrected, the fire slowly extinguishing itself.
She thought for a long moment. What would Serenity say? ... she'd probably welcome them with open arms. And training? She and Mars were already training the Sailor Quartet once a week, what's another four students? And these seemed to have powers based in the elemental – unlike the quartet, whose powers they were still trying to predict and understand… As for their need to fight evil, after training with us, we could intern them out to other solar systems – Princess Kakyuu and the Starlights had started a program to foster planets out whose scouts had yet to be reborn since the fight with Galaxia, so she'd probably have a place for them to settle down almost immediately.
All in all, not a bad idea. "Sure," she said, "yeah, that sounds like a great idea."
The boys took a minute to really react, but as it sunk in, Ganymede punched the air behind her, "YEAH!"
Io dropped his sword as he turned to high-five Europa, and Calliso looked to be so full of appreciation it was as if he had had serious doubts that she would accept their request.
Training these boys wouldn't be so bad – Endymion might even take some time with them, and that would be fun, wouldn't it?
Jupiter stood behind the line of boys who knelt reverently before Neo Queen Serenity. They were in the official reception room in the palace of Crystal Tokyo, representatives and administrators stood to either side of the large isle, all eyes on the four new Knights in front of them. On the dais at the front of the room, bathed in pure morning sunlight that filtered down from the crystalline ceiling above, Neo Queen Serenity and King Endymion sat on tall thrones of crystal, flanked to the left by Eternal Sailors Mercury, Mars, Saturn and Pluto, to the right by Venus, Uranus, Neptune and Small Lady Serenity. Off the dais and to the left stood the Sailor Quartet, Sailors Vesta, Pallas, Juno and Ceres, two of whom were involved in a quiet disagreement (that stopped immediately when they felt her eyes on them, the two perpetrators now looking sheepish).
It had been little less than a day since they had arrived from Io Castle, and after introductions and a short meeting of the Sailor Scouts (even the outer scouts showed up – Uranus was only too happy to have more guardians-in-training. She and Neptune had been disappearing frequently on missions to extra-solar worlds to help out with Princess Kakyuu's efforts, and often mentioned the need for the sailor crystals to be reborn on those forsaken planets), during which her earlier plans for the boys had been agreed upon, they decided to make the boys' presence in the capital official.
"Do you swear to use your powers only for good, to protect truth, justice, and the innocents?" Sailor Jupiter asked, her voice echoing through the silent room.
"We do so swear," the boys promised as one.
"Will you promise to aide those less fortunate than you, to relieve the distress of the world and to fulfill your knightly obligations?"
"We do."
"Will you swear fealty to our Kingdom, our mission, and our Queen for as long as you live and breathe?"
"We do!" The boys had been quite taken with Neo-Queen Serenity – they had all prostrated themselves before her when they were first introduced. Apparently, Princess Jupiter was only a princess, but Queen Serenity was the queen. Jupiter smiled – she didn't mind in the least. Serenity was an amazing woman, and this wasn't the first time people found themselves in awe of her.
"Please rise, Galilean Knights," Neo Queen Serenity addressed, her voice ringing like a silver bell as the crowd cheered their approval, "We are glad to accept you onto our team."
Serenity did look pleased, as did Endymion. Venus pumped her arm in a cheer for the aptly named 'Knights, her smile shining brightly. Mercury, Mars and Neptune clapped politely, Pluto and Saturn nodded at them in greeting, Uranus smiled a challenge towards them (… maybe she would wait a while before training them against Uranus… the outer scout tended to go for the 'sink or swim and sweat as you try' method), while Small Lady smiled – was she blushing? Chibi-Usa was blushing! The boys were cute – Jupiter wondered who the pink-haired little lady had her eyes on. A discussion would be had with Venus later, Jupiter planned mischievously.
The only group in the room that did not look completely comfortable and happy with the situation was the Sailor Quartet, whose expressions ranged from quizzical to downright disapproving. Jupiter wondered what was up, and whether this response would cause problems in their training session on Saturday…

The peoples of Mexico believed that the sun could not move on its own. As a matter of fact, when it first came into the sky, it couldn't move at all. The gods themselves had to be sacrificed. And now humans had to repay the debt, and keep the sun moving, with their own sacrifices.
Warriors, gods and human alike, fought in the sky to keep the sun moving. The great warrior god was the one who fought for the sun, and so he himself is often considered the Aztec sun god.

Xipe Totec, or the Flayed one, was the god of the seasons, renewal, and growing things. He was also the patron of gold workers. However, his rituals were still quite bloody. He flayed himself to give humanity food, and was shown as wearing a flayed human skin. Sculptures of this god may have been dressed in the skins of sacrificial victims.
His festival was celebrated on the spring equinox, and required the flaying of victims to produce a skin. The priests would wear these skins for twenty days after the sacrifice, and they were thought to have magical and curative properties.
Xipe Totec was one of the Aztec gods of the four directions - he was west.

In Aztec mythology, Xipe Totec ("our lord the flayed one") was a life-death-rebirth deity, god of agriculture, the west, disease, spring, goldsmiths and the seasons. He flayed himself to give food to humanity, symbolic of the maize seed losing the outer layer of the seed before germination. Without his skin, he was depicted as a golden god.
Annually, slaves were selected as sacrifices to Xipe Totec. These slaves were carefully flayed to produce a nearly whole skin which was then worn by the priests during the fertility rituals that followed the sacrifice. Some accounts indicate that a thigh bone from the sacrifice was defleshed and used by the priest to touch spectators in a fertility blessing. Paintings and several clay figures have been found which illustrate the flaying method and the appearance of priests wearing flayed skins.

He was often depicted with goggle eyes, fangs, and a curled nose. Child sacrifices were made to him, and children were expected to weep in order to bring rain.
Less gruesome sacrifices occurred as well, with little statues being made from dough and offered to him. These dough children were eaten at banquets.

Tlaloc, also known as Nuhualpilli, was, in Aztec belief, the god of rain and fertility. He was greatly feared among the Aztecs, who drowned children to appease him. They believed that Tlaloc was responsible for both floods and droughts, and that he had been created by the other gods. He is commonly depicted as a goggle-eyed blue being with fangs. Human sacrifices were often made in his honor, usually children. Before the victims were actually sacrificed, their tears were collected in a ceremonial bowl, to serve as an offering.
Although a beneficent god Tlaloc certainly had the power to unleash floods, lightning and drought when angry. To please him children were sacrificed to him as well as prisoners dressed in his image. It is said that the more the babies and children cried the more Tlaloc was pleased. During the sacrifice the tears of the screaming children were seen as representations of falling rain, the more the children cried, the better the rain season.

In art, Xolotl was depicted as a skeleton, a dog-headed man - "xolotl" can also mean "dog" in Nahuatl, the Aztec language - or a monster animal with reversed feet. He was also the patron of the Ulama game. He is identified with Xocotl as being the Aztec god of fire.
Itzpzpalotl:
A goddess of Agriculture representing famine and death shown as Vulture. Obsidian Butterfly. Beautiful, demonic, armed with the claws of a jaguar. The female counterpart of Itzcoliuhqui.
Chicomecoatl:
In Aztec mythology, Chicomecoatl ("Seven Serpent", also the name of a day of the Aztec calendar) was a goddess of food and produce, especially maize and, by extension, a goddess of fertility.
Every September, she received a sacrifice of young girl, decapitated. The sacrifice's blood was poured on a statue of Chicmecoatl and her skin was worn by a priest. She was thought of as a female counterpart to Centeotl and was also called Xilonen ("the hairy one", which referred to the hairs on unshucked maize), who was married to Tezcatlipoca. She often appeared with attributes of Chalchiuhtlicue, such as her headdress and the short lines rubbing down her cheeks. She is usually distinguished by being shown carrying ears of maize. She is shown in three different forms:

* As a woman who brings death with her embraces
* As a mother who uses the sun as a shield
